ooc; yes, this is the main windclan camp!
no, this is not the outskirts of windclan.
no, this is not where you contact hps.
you may hunt here but only if starting a discussion with another
character.

Minutemind settled down in the center of camp, his olive eyes
scanning his surroundings, sighing when he realized there was no
one active at this time of day. The dazzling torbie gave his
pelt a small, uncomfortable shake, wishing for company.

a small black and white tom burst
from the apprentice den, eyes widened. he'd overslept. again!
paws scrambling, he raced for the exit, tripping over a tom
instead. "sorry!" notepaw quickly said, darting outside the
camp.

Minutemind jumped, giving a low growl to the apprentice. "Watch
it." he grumbled before settling down again. Sheesh, apprentices
still acted like kits nowadays.

Pineneedle padded into the camp, she held 2 squirrels in her
mouth. Pineneedle dropped 'em down on the freshkill pile and
began sorting out the patrols.

A brown-pointed apprentice appeared at Minutemind's
side, giving the warrior a polite head dip. Sweetpaw had been
announced an apprentice a day or so ago, and was now looking for
a mentor. Of course, Minutemind was high on her list, since her
now dead mother had spoken very highly of her. "Good day,
ma'am." the female greeted with a small smile.

[ Minutemind is a tom. Don't be embarrassed, happens all the
time <3 ]
Minutemind smiled, something he didn't do often. "Hello,
Sweetpaw." he meowed kindly, sniffing the air. The scent of prey
made his mouth water, but he wanted to wait for the queens and
elders wake so they could eat first.

Bitterface drug himself forward from the elder's den, mismatched
eyes half-closed and fur all messed up. He looked a fright, but
this was always true for the elder. Well, his life had been
hard, dog-gonnit! Dag-nabbit! He heaved a sputtering cough-
where were all those apprentices to clean his moss? To bring him
prey? Back in HIS day, that's what he had done for fun,
by-golly!

For the record, that never happened. -passes bribe to pengy-
Yeah? xD
The apprentice's face shone with pleasure at the warrior's
reply, but casting one quick glance at the scraggly elder in the
distance made her snap back to her duties. "Excuse me, sir." the
she-cat requested politely, and then strode quickly towards
Bitterface with a dip of her head. "My apologies, sir, that you
have not been attended to. I'll clean your nest as you eat, and
if you have any other requests I'll be right with you~" Sweetpaw
meowed responsibly, talking louder than usual for two reasons;
in case the old cat was hard at hearing, and to give her some
tip with Minutemind. With a lightning-quick glance at her role
model, the Windclanner started towards the elder's den.

"Ehh," the elder managed to rasp, for her volume was
just right for his old ears to hear. He had to squint to
properly see her, but nodded his head after a moment- during
said moment, she was still talking. That was a bit annoying, but
then again everything agitated the elder. "Bah, 'bout time!" he
murmured when she stopped and scurried off, stepping forward to
drag prey from the pile. Due to an, at present untreated
bellyache, he got something small- picking at it with long,
yellowed, curved claws before taking small bites out of the dead
animal's flank.
