a little bit of herb training~

Essencedreams, her silky white fur gleaming in the mid-day sun,
padded in front of her den. The camp seemed lazy and
slow-moving, so the petite she-cat thought it would be nice to
start something.
"Kits of RiverClan!" she purred, raising her voice so most could
hear. "If you're interested, come on over and learn about
herbs!"

her carefully. "h-hi..." she meowed in her tiny voice. her sea
green eyes swirled with curiosity as she crept closer. "i uh...
i mean, uh... can i learn also?" she glanced at all the herbs,
and a whirlwind of aromas washed over her like a crashing wave.
sweet smells, icky scents, ones she recognised and others she
didn't. this was all so amazing to her, and she wanted to know
more. what is was like to be a medicine cat, to share knowledge
with starclan. she could help riverclan so much! telling them
what terrible things were to come, or what joyous things were
near.[/font]

Essencedreams purred. "Of course!" she meowed, her voice smooth
and sweet like honey. "What would you like to know?" What a cute
little kit. The medicine cat had always enjoyed young ones, but,
of course, could not have any of her own.

Essencedreams thought for a moment. "Alright. Do you know what
to do if a cat has a aching stomach?" she asked, expecting
Dreamkit to say no. How fun it was to teach younger ones!

dreamkit squeezed her eyes shut. come on, you know this! "it's
uh..." she began, searching her little mind for the correct
answer. she knew it! she had watched the medicine cat work, and
she knew it. she opened her eyes, pride shining deep in those
orbs. "yes, uh, chervil helps. you can also use juniper berries,
and watermint."

Essencedreams nodded. "How to you make a splint?" Her eyes
gleamed, proud that there was at least one kit in RiverClan
interested in healing and herbs. Had she found her new
apprentice?

together, as she searched for the answer. when nothing came up,
she panicked a bit. but she kept on thinking. "i uh... don't
know." she meowed finally, looking down at her paws.[/font]
