[center][font=georgia]lavastar's eyes glinted in the sunlight,
slept in again.
his tail wrapped around himself, sighing, another day. the tom
thought. usually he wasn't in camp; usually in his den hiding
away secrets.
though today was different.
he stood out from his den, the autumn haze blocking his vision,
"hmf." he mumbled, sitting down on a large flat rock.

[center]a pretty fire-orange she-cat padded into camp, face
unreadable. she dropped the hare into the pile, looking around.
her yellow gaze fell on lavastar. "hello, lavastar." mewed
firefox, offering the tom a smile. she'd never really seen him
out before...
i guess it's an improvement[/center]

Spellcaster wove through camp, noticing Lavastar sitting a few
fox-lengths away. Padding closer, the blue silver tabby gave a
quick smile towards her leader. He always seemed to be hidden
away in his den, but that needn't be so. Now would be a lovely
opportunity to chat. As she neared Lavastar, the warrior felt
just the slightest bit of unease gnawing at her insides, but she
quickly masked it with a question. "Why the hmf? It's
leaf-fall, and I must say the trees are looking gorgeous," there
was an upbeat tone, though an air of teasing lingered in the
question.

broke ; 3;

[center]firefox had never had anything against spellcaster, but
now it felt like she did. the orange she-cat had always felt
something small for the leader- and now this she-cat was
stealing him from her! well suggesting they'd never really been
together...
"hey lavastar! would you like to come on another round of
hunting with me?"
she called out, trotting forward and looking casual. the she-cat
was skilled in flirting, taught by her mother. ugh, bleh. she
couldn't even think of her mother without shuddering. she felt
her heart skip a beat while waiting for the answer, waiting at
the entrance to camp. firefox didn't even give a glance towards
spellcaster, although she felt as if they were friends it'd be
awkward right now.[/center]

kindly meowed, his ebony pelt rippling as he spoke. "sure,
firefox, it wouldn't hurt." lavastar added, pulling himself up.
the tom was muscular, but not like over the top. he lightly
smiled, then padding towards the edges of camp; wich was only a
few steps considering the fact that his den was not center.
glancing back he looked at spellcaster, totally forgetting she
was there, "oh, sorry spellcaster. my apologies- you could come
with us if it's okay with firefox."

[center]firefox shrugged hesitantly, but turned and padded
forward. "so where should we hunt?" she asked, firey tail
flicking frrom side to side. fire smiled at lavastar, trotting
at his pace.[/center]

Spellcaster smiled. "I'd love to come!" Came the bright meow
from the tabby. The warrior didn't much care where they hunted,
it would just be a nice change of pace from hunting in a
gigantic patrol. She found it much easier to chase rabbits and
the like when cats weren't clambering over themselves to get the
plumpest prey. Aqua eyes shone rather brightly as the warrior
stood, and Spellcaster merely shrugged off the fact that she
hadn't been noticed at first- leader's already had so much on
their plates.

A small albino apprentice sat by the freshkill-pile, watching
the three cats with glaring eyes. "Some she-cats," Tutterpaw
thought bitterly, watching his leader closely, "just don't have
any boundaries." The young tom padded up to them, trying his
best to calm his expression. "May I come, too?" He asked softly,
his pinkish-red eyes glancing towards the Medicine Cat den of a
moment, deciding it wouldn't hurt to try and learn a few things
from these older cats. He was, of course, supposed to grow up
and be a fine warrior. Maybe they would know a thing or two
about herbs, too, seeing as how a fine warrior should know
something about them anyways. Right? Right.
