Age-Specific Rules

[center]Age-Specific Rules
***These rules apply to all children and young adults excepting
those who have a currently active on-board parent or guardian
who has given them separate rules***[/center]
Ages 3-7
- If you cannot swim, you may not enter the water deeper than
your knees. If you can swim, you may not enter water deeper than
your nose (for exceptions - including use of water
vessels/floatation devices - PM Lucas Quincy)
- No fire for any reason. If you have any questions about this,
send a private message to fire chief Mikey Samson.
- You may not leave town without permission from the adults.
Even with permission, you must be accompanied by someone 15+ (If
the person is 15-20 years old, you must have one of them for
each child 3-7 years old.)
- You must attend school (posting is not required; unless you
post otherwise, it is assumed you attended. Those who wish to
undertake alternate schooling i.e homeschool or online classes
must gain permission from Dana/Toby)
- You must be on your residence's grounds after dinner, except
with prior permission from an adult
- No dangerous or illegal activity
Ages 8-10

- You must gain permission for all use of fire individually each
time from Fire Chief Mikey Samson (Excepting lighting cigarettes
for those who are already smokers).
- You may not leave town without permission from the adults.

the person is 15-20 years old, you must have one of them for
every two children 8-10 years old.)
- You must attend school (posting is not required; unless you
post otherwise, it is assumed you attended. Those who wish to
undertake alternate schooling i.e homeschool or online classes
must gain permission from Dana/Toby)
- Must be on your residence's grounds by 9pm, except with prior
permission from an adult
- No dangerous or illegal activity
Ages 11-14
- You must gain permission for all uses of fire individually
each time from Fire Chief Mikey Samson (Excepting lighting
cigarettes for those who are already smokers and cooking on a
stove in a kitchen with approved materials. Cooking privileges
can and will be revoked for misuse.)
- You may not leave town without permission from the adults.
Even with permission, you must be accompanied by at least two
other people aged 11-14 or one aged 15+.
- You must attend school (posting is not required; unless you
post otherwise, it is assumed you attended. Those who wish to
undertake alternate schooling i.e homeschool or online classes
must gain permission from Dana/Toby)
- Must be on your residence's grounds by 10pm, except with prior
permission from an adult
- No dangerous or illegal activity
Ages 15-17
- You must attend school (posting is not required; unless you
post otherwise, it is assumed you attended. Those who wish to
undertake alternate schooling i.e homeschool or online classes
must gain permission from Dana/Toby)
- You must be on your residence's grounds by midnight, except
with prior permission from an adult
- If you are a licensed driver, all road rules must be obeyed,
and driving is not permitted between midnight and 6am without
prior permission on a case-by-case basis from an adult.
- You must inform the adults if leaving town, and be back on
village grounds by 10pm – exceptions may be granted with prior
permission.
- you may be directly responsible for the area in which you
work, but if there is a need for any disciplinary action, you
must contact an adult.
- No dangerous or illegal activity
Ages 18-20
- May only handle disciplinary situations with the 3-7 age group
and only with permission from the adults and continued
consultations with adults throughout the situation. Exceptions
may occur.
- May not physically discipline any child of any age.
- May not parent or take on guardianship of any child.
- Are not exempt from adult interaction if engaging in
irresponsible behaviour.
- No illegal activity
Please note: the Warehouse Young Adults are permitted (but not
required) to handle situations that arise with any Warehouse
child as they see fit. They are also permitted to give
permission ONLY to the Warehouse children for exceptions to
curfew and leaving town.
All requests for rule exceptions must be posted in the sub-board
of community chatter unless a child has an active on-board
parent or guardian to ask directly.
