How I run my reincarnations
By: JaqenH039ghar Date: June 23, 2014, 10:00 am
---------------------------------------------------------
A few people have asked me how I reincarnate in 3 days, so I
thought I'd put together a brief guide.
I should note that, other than a few tweaks, I did not come up
with this info on my own. Rather this is the result of lots of
research and reading of the guides and posts of those who have
been doing this since the game released, or even from beta.
My goal was to get through all 8 houses as quickly as possible
and make each fealty house permanent. My secondary goal was to
get 8 obsidian daggers and 8 valyrian steel daggers. Other
people like to focus on adventures for leveling their SS or
getting items they can make permanent. This was not my goal.
Here are the steps I use:
1. Make a HUGE number of friends. Friends will send you a
steady stream of boss challenge (quest) invites. This enables
you to level quickly for Command Points.
2. Try to get as many Peerless Permanent SS as you can. I
usually get about 5-6 per reincarnation, as a result my later
reincarnations go faster than my early ones.
3. In the early stages (Day 1) run the easiest adventures for
resources, after that set all your SS running PtP against
inactive players (with a ? on their banner).
4. Don't upgrade anything you don't need. I upgrade the
counting house and the smithy (for the +5% fight speed).
Replace smithy with your main stat's building.
5. Accept and repeatedly tap every quest you can get.
6. Bake as much bread as you can.
7. Focus all your efforts on Chapter 1. Run the other chapters
as well, but Chapter 1 is what you should watch like a hawk.
Equip any quest speed up items on your main character and then
2-3 of your best SS. Use those SS to run Chapter 1 quests.
8. Be active - finish everything you can 5 minutes early for
free.
9. Use gold on speed up items and upgrades (Oathkeeper,
Direwolf Patriarch, Horseshoes, etc).
10. Save your talent points. Spend your level 13 point on your
fealty building, your level 20 point on parties, and the rest
bank until level 30. At level 30 spend all the points on your
top 3 stat speed up options (for me it was Fight, Aid and Spy
+24% speed). This makes a huge difference.
I didn't realize this until halfway through, but it is a good
idea to do Tully and Tyrell first as their fealty buildings let
you produce grain and fish, which is what you need for fresh
baked bread.
Personally I am ending on Greyjoy, as their talents are
hands-down the best for my purposes.
Please post any comments or questions.

All of the above is great advice. I assume you're ending on
Greyjoy because of the 'Arms of the Kraken' talent, which speeds
up Adventures. After Bat, I plan to go through every fealty,
back to Greyjoy eight more times, and then back to Stark for my
final. When all is said and done, Adventures are your life's
blood. Your way is simpler and quicker though. I just feel Stark
is the best fit for me.

Excellent! Yep, Arms of the Kraken is definitely my
reasoning...and Iron Price is a nice bonus. As I mentioned,
everyone is going to have varying goals. I am in awe of your
patience. One of the reasons I developed this technique is
because I am impatient to get started "playing the game."
There is a whole alliance of serial reincarnaters, many of whom
plan to keep reincarnating forever! Wow!

Trust me, it's not been easy. I've wanted to reincarnate for
over a month now, but decided it was better to wait for the good
of the alliance. I'm capable of doing a lot more with a built
character.
With only two weeks to go, I'm itching at the chance to be
reborn. I have a long road of reincarnations ahead of me,
whereas you will be finished. Good job, and I hope you continue
to have fun afterward.

Jaqen,
Thanks for all the great tips, I'm looking forward to my next
reincarnation hopefully sometime this week. I'm not sure which
fealty I want to end on yet but I am enjoying working my way
through. It's also great to have an awesome alliance to get as
much help in the process.

Nice guide Jaqen. In order to reincarnate in 3 days how many
hours a day are you putting in per day?
meaning are you playing GOTA 24/7 or for only a handful of hours
a day?

Hmmm, it's an estimate of course...but I'd say 6 hours a day,
spaced out over 24 hours.
I'll log in and send out all PtPs, update all quests, accept all
quest invites and tap all running quests, and update all
resource builders. Rinse and repeat every hour or 2.
Hope that helps!
