I should note I am going to reincarnate through all houses, and
am currently planning to end with Greyjoy (for the final 2
talents, mostly).
As a point of discussion, what house do you intend to end up
with, and why?

Finally on House Greyjoys books and wont be reincarnating no
time soon.
I used Jaquen H'ghar's guide and the other links provided for my
last 3 incarnations and managed to get 3 Obsidian daggers which
was a bonus. Remember to send barters to friends who have no
banners, it is a much quicker way to gain obsidian daggers.

Currently, I have one face, and you see her wild hair and brown
face everyday: Jonquil Snow of Stark fealty. Initially, I had
no intention of reincarnating EVER, but I now see the flaw in
that argument, and will soon be sworn to another Great House.
Ultimately, I will be a Stark again as I just love this family
so much (books and TV show).
But hey, who knows what will happen over the next few years.
Maybe Targaryen? Meh, we'll see.

Depends on your playing style. Some burn through reincarnations
in 7 or 14 days. These serial reincarnators are doing it to
make many talents permanent. The down side to this approach is
that their characters are pretty useless for AvA .
I prefer a much slower rate giving me time to craft some
legendary equipment & get at least one AvA phase where I can
contribute decently.
BTW, whenever you decide to re-incarnate, make sure you do it on
the day you collect your gold. There was a bug where
re-incarnation reset the "day" counter. I do not know if they
fixed it yet.

So what happens when you reincarnate? I'd imagine you lose all
SS and talents. And items. And boons, etc.

I'm planning to post everything you need to know about
Reincarnation, or someone else can if they choose. I'm not
against sharing the workload.
But basically, you lose everything not marked Permanent.
