       If you could eat/drink a something from GoT . . .

If you could eat or drink something from Game of Thrones, what
       would it be?
The dishes from this book series/show are inspired by actual
Medieval fare. And since I love the Middle Ages, I'd jump at
the chance to sample some tasty treats from a feast or family
dinner scene. But not a wedding. That seems dangerous in the
       GRRM world.
I would be very content to eat lemon cakes and drink Dornish
wine, red or white. I don't know what pigeon pie would taste
like (AKA squab), but I'd be willing to try it at least once.
They can keep the eel whatever.

That seagull that Stannis Baratheon's wife mentioned sounded
good. And I remember reading a book about medieval life that
mentioned a royal feast with some sort of candied dolphin or
       porpoise. Wouldn't want to be on the ship that caught it though;
       terrible bad luck for sailors.
       :o

I think swan would also interesting. I've read books on the
Middle Ages as well, and understand that food could get quite
       elaborate at feast.

Lord Manderly's Pie ;) but seriously, Dornish food sounds quite
delicious. I would like to try some northern beers as well.

This is why I love foodie GoT fans. They make recipes I can try.

I love the idea of trenchers. Washing plates is a pain anyways.
Stale bread plates are economical and filling. Imagine your
plate was a long slice of stale bread, and then someone served
       Lord Manderly's pie on top.
       Yum!

Dornish Red. In a heartbeat. I want to know what all the damn
       fuss is about.

As it has been immortalised in song, I'd be keen to try some of
that famous honey from the Bear & the Maiden Fair.
