What Band Would You Go To See?

After reading the favourite bar scene thread I now have a Bee
Gees song stuck in my head..
Which led me to wonder what band would you most like to go to
see perform live? (and yes a time machine is available to take
you to any time/location)
For me it would be to go and see The Who back in their heyday..

Prince and the Revolution with opener Sheila E.
I got a chance to go see them as a wee lass with my parents, but
missed most of the concert because I was so wee and couldn't see
over all those tall, adult people from my floor seat. It wasn't
until a guy sitting next to us volunteered to let me sit on his
shoulders and see a good portion of Prince's performance that I
enjoyed the concert. A security guard took me around past front
row to see Sheila E. up close. (Note that my dad was sitting
with my maternal uncle in another section while I was with mom.
So, that's why I was hoisted above a man not my father.) At
least now, at my current height, I would be able to see the
performances standing in a chair. Though, I still wouldn't turn
down a dude who wanted to hold me up. ;)
Please head this way to the DeLorean Time Machine assigned with
your destination.

Queens of the Stone Age. I missed them back in November, I was
working when one of the roadies rang to say he had two free
tickets with backstage passes. I still think walking out of work
for that gig and for certain unemployment obviously would have
been worth it.
Also 'Sky Valley' era Kyuss and original Black Sabbath lineup,
I'd take a Dio fronted Sabbath though.

Death, would have gave my left arm to see these guys and Chuck
RIP.
Carcass.
Pantera.
Down.
Slayer with Jeff Hanneman again.
Black Sabbath with Ozzy but Dio is awesome aswell and they both
have Geezer Butler in the line up so both would be killer.
Sepultura with Max and Igor without the Cavalera brothers they
dont exist to me.
Bathory.
Devin Townsend.
Nile.
Clutch.
Led Zeppelin.
Pink Floyd.
Corrosion of Conformity.
Alice in Chains
Soundgarden.

Wow BTG, you'd need to have a full on festival! ;D
So far the only band I've seen is Soundgarden. I seem to
remember them supporting Guns N' Roses along with Skid Row at
Wembley. That was an awesome gig!

Most of those bands posted aren't together no more or have
different line ups or a member/s simply dead, So if I was able
to choose I would choose them. Just to be able to see them in
their prime.
I've been to plenty of gigs/concerts but in my part of Australia
Big headliners simply skip my state so i miss out.
I left 1 major band out Pantera with Dimebag.

There is no better concert on the planet than Bruce Springsteen
and The E Street Band.

A concert isn't really my scene, but there are some groups I
wouldn't mind seeing live. Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin,
Metallica, Def Leppard--just to name a few.
