       Humor Me: Pronunciations!

Oh so you're the new student? Um... "Kay-uh... Jad-weeg-uh...
My-gull-owie"? Is that how you say it?
I grew up hearing my name butchered over and over again, so I'd
hate to put your internet characters through the same fate. How
do YOU pronounce your character's name?

Thanks Daltanyn! Not only is this informative, but also it helps
me keep up with your constant reincarnating ;)
I remember you posted about the meaning of a couple of your
names elsewhere on the forums. I'm assuming that since you've
planned out your names in advance, all of them have some sort of
       meaning to you?

Most of them do. The majority come from the novel I'm working on
and a lot of thought did go into those. :)

Technically, Aelfred is just an old-timey way of spelling
Alfred, and the pronunciation is the same. In fact, I goofed a
little when I first chose it for my character name; the correct
Old English spelling is Aelfraed. I use the "ae" digraph instead
of the "æ" grapheme because Disruptor Beam wouldn't accept the
latter. Fun fact: the name translates as "elf counsel". Why the
elves needed lawyers, I may never know...
       :P
