Very Simple Rules

Feel free to post any link you like, even from Suno, just
please state truthfully if it's your original lyric and your
original melody.
If not, that's fine too, just please disclose. We're not gonna
shame anyone here for trying to be creative, no matter what
tools you use.
Do not use foul language against another member it holds no
purpose, especially for professional writers.
If someone posts a song for feedback, and you want to collab
with that writer, please ask their permission before you
re-write a whole song.
This board does not have storage space as of now, so when you
post a song it will have to be a "link"., Which most of us do
anyway.
You can always email me with any concerns or ideas, we're all in
this together.!!
If anyone wants a 100% suno board, we can discuss that in the
future.
Last note: We don't talk politics here, this is a music forum.

May I ask if there are any prerequisites to posting a song, e.g.
2 comments on others songs before posting one of yours. Only one
posting/person/day?
Thanks,
Sid

No, we don't have any rules about that. Use your own good
judgement as you would in real life. Are you gonna walk into a
publisher's office and try to get him to listen to 10 songs or
3? which do you think would get more attention?
If you don't have anything to say about someone else's song,
that's fine, you can give a thumbs up or down, or a smiley face,
whatever.
Use your own good judgement.
Welcome to the forum!

So, we don't have to reciprocate? Well, OK. Now I understand.
Thanks

Yes but you know how it is Tom
If you don't listen and reply to others they won't listen and
reply to yours :-\

Really? You took the time to answer me with something so
obvious?
Of course I know that. I've been listening and commenting to the
wind, so it seems.
Hey thanks, Tex.

I personally wouldn't post a song if it wasn't 100% my own
lyrics, without the use of AI assistance. But, all of my songs
were derived with assistance from AI generated melodies and
vocals. Even though, I tested my song writing skills with a few
other songs in other than country genres to see if I was getting
better. TBH... In other genres, I'm totally failing to write
lyrics as well as some of the AI generated lyrics. But... I'll
never use an AI generated assisted lyric, as I want my song to
be from my head without assistance. AI is a great tool for
creating song demos vocally and musically for me. I can only
play rhythm on a guitar, and my voice is not strong enough to
sing well now days. But I'm not against AI generated music if
you created the lyrics with very little help. It's about song
writing, and the joy of hearing a good song, right? I'm new to
this and just trying to improve with time!

I tried to respond, but I can't seem to post. I'll try again.
First off, ALL my songs are written by me. The lyrics, the
melody, the guitar rhythms, and the spirit of the song is mine.
AI produces a "cover". That's it. Why are you assuming that AI
wrote my song? All credit is listed under the Title of the song.
Why didn't you just make your assumption on my thread?
I've left you several comments on your songs. It would be
nice... but I guess it's not required... but it would be nice of
you to reciprocate.
I've been doing this for a very long time, and reciprocation is
an important exercise to ensure a happy and prosperous
environment.

I wasn't speaking of anyone in particular, just wanted to share
my style of creating songs IronKnee. Btw... I've responded to
several of your songs.
