It really does. I myself don't have the 2009 or 2005 version,
but from picture and other resources it is definantly better. :)
I have the '09 version.
Awesome!
I wish I had some of the older star wars sets.... ::)
Actually '09 wasn't that old. =P The oldest minifig I own is the
original Jar Jar Binks.
The oldest fig I have is a 1980's space guy. I got it a box of
five hundred bricks.
So you actually have the actual minifig from The LEGO Movie? :o

LEGO Star Wars 70715 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid Review
Today I want to show you a really awesome set, 75015 Corporate
Alliance Tank Droid. This was made for The 2013 summer Episode 2
wave; The Tank Droid wasn't in the final cut of Episode II but
it was originally supposed to be in the movie. So let's look at
this set! :D
The Tank Droid is really reasonably priced. It comes with 271
pieces and 3 minifigures. The minifigures are really, REALLY
awesome. They include :Jango Fett, A Clone Trooper, and A
Geonosis Battle Droid. For now let's look at the figs.
Jango Fett: Jango Fett is a really cool character in the Star
Wars universe 8), and This Figure doesn't disappoint. Jango has
a regular Mando helmet mold, but his helmet is pearl gray
instead of dark gray. His Jetpack is also a Pearl gray. The
blaster holsters print on the legs is really awesome, Probably
One of my most favorite printings LEGO has done.
Clone Trooper: The clone trooper minifigure is the same as the
other clone troopers from the 2013 wave, but he is still really
cool. The helmet detail is pretty awesome. The helmet has holes
in the side so you can put antennas and visors on which come in
the set. The armor is useful for all kinds of space stuff

Geonosis Battle Droid: The Geonosis Battle Droid figure is the
same battle droid we always get, Except that it is Dark Orange
instead of tan. This one comes with a plate to go on his torso
to be a backpack sort of thing.

Corporate Alliance Tank Droid: The Tank Droid itself has
around 200 bricks, (Excluding the treads) and is 26 studs long.
The tank droid is a fairly easy build. The guns have to flick
missiles that are really easy to reach. On the front pontoon
like thingy's there is room to place battle droids like in the
movie. The "Eyes" can turn 360 degrees so it can look backwards.

Overall: Overall this is really Bang for your buck at less than
.08 cents a brick! TLG really made this set really sturdy (I
dropped it from 17 inches and not one brick came off) I would
rate this set 6 out of five stars cause the set is awesome and
the value is amazing.
