Maddie knows Ms. Jennifer and knows one thing she does in an
interview is be very throuly and asking too many questions at
time. It has been a year but she thought that part would never
end. But she got the job and has become a different girl. Yes
even if she did not realize it she grew up with the help of Ms.
Jennifer.
As she heads to the arcade to check on Mark she hears someone
calling out for his Daddy. No I know I left him in the arcade
how in the world did he get out here. Shaking her head as she
heads to the maze and being she has the code she heads to his
voice. As she spots him she stands there.
" I may not be your Daddy but would you like some help getting
back to where I left you?"

Luke,looked up as the office door opened and a distingious
looking man walked in like he owned the place. As it was, he
did. Then gentleman introduced himself as Mr. Stanley.
Taking the offered hand, "Yes, sir, I am Luke Mcbain. My honor
to meet you Sir. Miss Jennifer and I have been discussing the
terms of my employment, if I take the job and if you hire me.
Mr Stanley shook his hand firmly. "I did look over your app
before i had her contact you and if she says ok then I do think
we can work out a deal. It does start out at 15.00 and hour with
the possibliity of a raise and most do get it in 90 days. That
is also when we offer the insurance which I have to say is a
very good plan one of the best in Colorado from my
understanding. I did also hear Jeniifer as well as you say you
might want a place to stay. Well part of my requirments for sure
with maintance is that they are close by. Yes Jennifer is just
down the road and can get her pretty soon. But she is not able
to get everything done like it should be."
Luke listened to what Mr. Stanley was saying. " As I was saying
to Miss Jennifer, I think it best that I lived on site, at least
for now. My prefered hours are 7am to 5pm, but I will be
available 24/7 for urgent and emergency needs. Changing a light
bulb in the public restroom at 3am is not an emergency. I would
require a room with two bed rooms, three would be better but two
will do, and a good size bathroom. A jaccuzi tub would be nice,
but not a deal breaker. If we can agree to all that has been
discussed. Then we have a binding contact. Holding out his hand
to Mr. Stanley.
Eyeing the stack of papers in Jennifer's hands. " I suppose I
need to fill all those out?

Just as Luke is about to fill out his paper work I have come up
with one of my great ideas
Jennifer! Do we still have that opening in the Security
department
This old place really needs attention when it comes to being
watched
Luke we will go up to 19.00 an hour which will include your
Suite allowance and health in 90 days
and performance reviews on a regular basis
Do you think you can help us in THE maintenance and Security
Once you are done her i am sure Jennifer can get you your keys
and you can move your stuff into
the Residence 327 (Its built on the board) 2 bed 2 bath with a
hottub in the back

Holding the paper work in her hand. Listening to what Lord
Stanley has to say she lays them down and sitting there in deep
thought.
" you know I do think that would be a GREAT idea as we really do
need someone for that and he does look to me like if there was
any problems he would be more then able to handle it. Of coursed
I would also be hiring another one so that you could have some
time off. I am thinking of maybe a younger one fresh out of high
school. If things work out then I am sure you would be over both
but of course that will depend on the 90 probation period."

required forms. When Mr, Stanley spoke again.

my resume. I'm very good at multitasking. can keep up with the
maintenance and other task as well as handling the security."
Looking to Jennifer. Miss Jennifer, if you are speaking of
hiring someone to help with the maintenance. I would prefer if
you would hire someone from a trade school. He should have a
back ground in electric or plumbing and a working knowledge of
Heating and Air conditioning. And if you would.Hire a young
security guard, one just certified. Nights 9pm till 5am. Of
course the choice is yours. I was just asking." Looking back to
Mr. Stanley, he extended his hand " I am agreeable to everything
we spoke of. I will head up the maintenance and security.
19.00Hr with a suite."
Giving Jennifer a bright smile. I can assure you and Mr.
Stanley, I can handle any security situation."

Mark came running in what looked like a Hedge and out Maddie
from what looked like a Secret door "Cool" he says
as he looks around and says "Do i really want to go" "NO"
Should i go "yes" Come on you can show me the
way out of here and you can let my father know i was at the
arcade and was his good little boy
so he doesn't get in trouble on his first day. We don't want
that do we?
Mark doesn't want to see his Dad get a tongue lashing for him
not listening but he rather not get into
trouble either

Maddie looks straight at Mark and says "Alright Follow me and

Taking Mark Through the secret package and (radio on) Jennifer I
Found Mark Mcbain inside the closed Hedge Maze
can you read me copy) stopping for a minute and putting my
facial mask around his eyes and tieing it in the back
and pushing him and leading him by the hand outside and through
the door. Picking up the pace as she wants
to be out front when Ms Jennifer gets there.
Mark is really squirming riow as we are out of the secret
package area and says "wait right here"

As she listens in her ear and hears Maddie and what she is
saying. looking at Lord Stanley and Luke.
" I need to take care of something real quick. Here are the
papers if you would please go ahead and answer all the
questions. Some of them are read and sign as that way we have a
record that you were made aware of a few things. I am sure that
if you have any questions Lord Stanley will be able to answer
them. I will be back shortly.
As she gets out of the office " Roger I read and am on my way.
Getting to the maze she gives Mark the look that all kids know
when coming from an adult.
" Very good maddie you did great how about we all go back to the
office and I do think your Daddy will be done with things and
you can go with him." Maddie for now would you please come with
us so you can keep a close eye on him until the final is
finished up."

Luke,took the forms from Jennifer, looking at her
questioningly. Knowing she was listening to someone on her ear
bud. Handing Luke the forms, she quickly excused herself" I need
to take care of something real quick. Here are the papers if you
would please go ahead and answer all the questions. Some of them
are read and sign as that way we have a record that you were
made aware of a few things. I am sure that if you have any
questions Lord Stanley will be able to answer them. I will be
back shortly." she said as she went out the door..
Luke watched her going out the office door. "Professional,
Focused, organized. I Like her. She would have made a good
officer.' He said out loud to himself. Turning to Mr. Stanley.
"But is she always so abrupt?" Taking a seat. "I just hope Mark
isn't at the core of this excitement" he muttered as he started
going through the forms. Tell me Sir, is there an over abundance
of guest making or staff making claims that strange things
happen in and around the hotel?

MArk stood as we got back to the office area and said "Ma'am
your not going to tell my Father are you"
He will be quite upset at me and I know he is trying his best to
get us settled here and I am the one
who messed up Wasn't him I promise???//
