the league, so as not to clog emails anymore.

In regards to the league size, I have decided to leave the
league capped at 24 golfers, since all of our tee times have
been made and our playoff rules are all based on 24 golfers.
this will be my last communication on the subject, as I don't
want to sound like a pain. We will be taking the 1st 24 golfers
who commit. Once we get to that number, we will turn away any
inquiries and close our league to anymore members. Thanks!

Just a quick update, we now have 17 guys signed up for the Forum
and 9 roster spots (out of 24) have been guaranteed so far. To
see who's locked in so far, please see the Handicap and Roster
page on the website. Also, I received an email this morning
from a guy who's league used to play at Emerald Weeds. He is
looking to join another league and is intrigued by a traveling
league, and possibly has a few of their league members
interested as well. Just wanted everyone to know, as I plan on
getting 24 COMMITTED guys in our league ASAP, so I don't have to
scramble to fill roster spots as in years past.

Update: We now have 10 roster spots guaranteed and 17 signed up
for the Forum. I have now extended a total of 29 invitations
out (including the 10 who are in), and also a couple inquiries
I'm waiting to hear back from.
With that being said, I have contacted a few of our courses
(most not around with the snow) and they said it would be no
problem if we added another tee time from expanding our league
to 28. So, I have started a poll (look in the threads....it's
called LEAGUE SIZE) which I'd like everyone to vote on, and
leave any comments if you so choose.

I have received 1 nomination for Vice President (Mike Profancik)
and 1 nomination for Rules Committee member (Jeff Light). If I
do not receive any other nominations, I will put it to a vote
amongst the league.

Gentlemen,
I apologize for all of the email communications over the past
few weeks. It has been real tough for me to get commitments
from guys who want to be in the league, and I've been trying to
fill out our roster the best way I can. Going forward, I will
just keep letting the spots fill up as the commitments come in,
and I will keep extending invites out there until we achieve our
league roster limit. Members returning from last season will
have their spots held until March 15th, per our league rules,
and any new member spots will be filled on a first come/first
served basis. This means that as of right now, we have 18 spots
filled (12 paid and 6 returning members who will have a hold
until March 15th), so the other 6-10 spots (depending on final
league size) will be filled accordingly. It's the fairest way I
can think of doing it, and our league rules state that returning
members have until 3/15, so I will honor that. Thank you for
understanding.

Just an update, Hans Meister has claimed a guaranteed spot in
the league, which brings our total to 13 paid.

Just another update, Greg Profancik has claimed a guaranteed
spot in the league, which brings our total to 14 paid, 6
returning member spots held until March 15th, and 4 open spots
for new members. I had a guy contact me about several guys
interested in our league from a league at Skyland which folded,
and I told him I will know how may spots we have available after
March 15th.
