I'm gonna do this a bit differently. I'm gonna do the revenge
(assault on Syndicate HQ) first, and then the funeral. I've been
writing for over and hour now and I think it's the best route.
Should be up soon.

Thanks, Blue. I appreciate you saying that's it's better than
the game. Kinda sad that their writing has gotten so shitty that
a (former) fan is claimed to be better.
Anyway here is the lead up to the assault on the Syndicate HQ. I
figured it'd be better to add a bit more drama and aftermath to
Gat dying. To me, that's something that was completely missing
in the actual game. No one, except Shaundi a little, seemed to
care. So i thought I'd add more to that a little bit before
moving on to the actual assault.
Keep in mind this takes place AFTER they takeover the penthouse.
Johnny was just one of the ones who came up in the elevator with
Shaundi and the rest.

The Boss and the crew head back to Saints HQ. They take Shaundi,
who's still passed out, to her room and lay her down.
Boss: "Have one of the boys keep an eye on her. Who knows how
she's gonna be when she wakes up."
Pierce: "Got it."
The Boss walks out, running his fingers through his hair. He
walks into the kitchen and grabs a beer from the fridge. He
opens it and takes a sip and leans against the wall. He sighs
and sniffs.
Pierce comes out.
Pierce: "How you holding up, Boss?"
Boss: "We knew each other for years. When everyone else betrayed
me, Johnny was the only one who stuck by me. Even after I got
out of my coma, he still stuck by me when we had nothing."
Pierce: "Look, I didn't know Gat that well or as long as you
did, but I could tell he was loyal. I was proud to fight with
him."
Boss shakes his head and sniffs.
Boss: "I'll be alright. Just take care of Shaundi."
Boss walks to his bedroom.
He walks in, takes a sip. Still sniffing. It's getting harder
and harder to hold back the tears. He just lost his best friend.
A single tear rolls down his cheek and he throws the bottle at
his wall and collapses to his knees. He punches the floor.
Boss: "Goddamn it, Johnny!"
All the times they had start flashing back in his head. When he
first met him, in the elevator with Ben King, cannonizing the
newbies at Purgatory, etc etc.
The Boss gets up and starts destroying everthing. He tosses his
paintings, crushes his lamps, ect etc.
Boss: "Why, Johnny, WHY?!"
He holds his head in his hands and sobs. Johnny was like a
brother to him.
He gets up and starts punching his wall over and over.
Boss: "GOD! DAMN! IT! FUCKING BASTARD! FUCKING STUPID BASTARD!"
He grips his head in his hands and brushes his hair back and
breathes in. He takes a deep breath and tries to keep it
together.
He eventually calms down and the night passes.
Later on, he's sitting on the helipad staircase.
His phones suddenly rings. It's Loren.
His answers it.
"Let this be a message to all who oppose The Syndicate. There is
no mercy, only death. Don't mourn your friend, you'll be joining
him soon."
Before the Boss can answer, Loren hangs up. The number is
untraceable thanks to Matt Miller.
He goes to the bar and pours another drink. As he sites alone at
the private bar, he looks at a picture of Johnny on the wall.
This begins playing.

He looks over at his armory then looks back at Johnny.
(At exactly 00:31)
He gets up and picks up two pistols, loads them and cocks them.
Then grabs an assault rifle and puts a mag in it and cocks it.
Grabs 4 grenades and straps them onto his belt.
He walks out, armed. The Saints are already there, armed as
well.
Saint thug (cocks his shotgun): "Just say the word, Boss."
Boss: "For Johnny."
All the Saints with fists in the air scream: "FOR JOHNNY!!"
They all march out together and get in their vehicles.
Boss clicks on his phone and calls Pierce.
Boss: "Pierce. Loren dies tonight. Either come with us or stay
home. Either way, we're going."
Pierce: "But Boss! Wait I--"
The phone hangs up before Pierce can answer.

Fantastic Shadow and that music fitted in so well, it brouht a
wee tear to my eye.
It truly baffles me to why they could not have the legendry
Johnny Gat go out in style
Great work can't wait to see more of this story

Thanks Ayngel. Yeah it baffles me how horribly they killed him
off. And then add insult to injury, barely anyone fucking cares.

now THAT is how you kill Johnny Gat! Volition should take
lessons from you, I could see all that in my head like a movie,
it would have been so much better. :p (Is it bad that I pictured
my Character instead? THAT's how good this was!)

I mean I know it's a game etc etc but for F**K sake Volition
they could have given a character such as Johnny Gat a good
exit!
You know what Shadow I would not put it past them if they made
people PAY for a better end to Johnny Gat in DLC
