I joined about a week after Mel Mel, I don't know how I remember
that.
I guess we could be the DLC Generation of the Forum. lol.
I joined only for the Story Section and eventually found my way
out of there and started going into the rest of the forum. I
remember I had a massive
arguement with almost everybody cause I didn't like the idea of
Ultor being in a game about Gangs.
I remember the WSS v Nada flame wars. The amount of shit that
went down when Michael Jackson died. (Being new to forums, like
it was the
first one I ever joined) Jus_Call_Me_J guided me through the
flame war in the MJ death thread.
The most depressing part of the forum that is not related to SR3
directly is the Story Section. New comers received nothing but
helpful and constructive
commenst regarding their stories, everybody took the time to
read at least a few other peoples stories and comment the best
they could.
It made you want to write. I remember bursting out 3 chapters in
a 12 hour period, I was the hyped up. Commenst showing up
minutes after you posted
your chapter.
But after the DLC's were over and done with, everybody left and
we became a very tight knit community with in an allready small
community. 5 - 10
of us at the most. We did our best to keep it going, Wetbizket
did the most, reading and commenting on every story. Then one
day it picked up.
It grew very quickly, we were all very excited and then us
Veterans to the Story Section were getting to no comments, we
tried our best to help out new
writers and commented on every story we could. Still none of it
was returned.
I finished off my time in that forum writing for two people,
Wetbizket and myself.
It's sad to see how things have turned out. But when I come here
a feel excepted again, I like this place it reminds me of when
the SR forum was just
a small community.

I think that the SR forum went downhill over the last year. I
mean, it was inevitable that the layout, color and looks would
change, but the fact that they cocked that change up is rather
unsettling.
I liked it better with the bright purple/on the border of pink
color/vibe they got going on. That was 3 years ago. Those were
the good days...
Still, migrated to TheIndieStone forums, and apparently now
here. Which is quite good actually.

I liked the ranking system, although mine would still be low.

I can't even remember what rank I was before they updated the
site for SR2?
I liked the Friend or Foe System also, and The members Birthdays
thing

I'm done with that place as far as posting goes you can't even
make a valid point without having to justify it. All i'm using
it for now is my IS characters and game stats.

I agree with J, I thought that was quite amusing. :o
Especially the way you spelled "accepted" although...I'm one to
talk, as I cock up my grammar all the time. ;D
Never knew you joined after me Aussie, I always thought you were
a forum veteran although considering how me, ayngel, J,
Wetbizket and others I missed out sticked around when everyone
else left I guess you could say we are forum veterans!

Ha ha, I was half asleep and rushing to get that posted, I
usually would've checked for things like that.
