how it evolved, the members including me and how we evolved be
honest >>>> I wont honestly care , ummm the influx of members
and your thoughts and the way the site was designed. Break it
down. Y'know. Lets not write any books welll since this is the
SR veterans and I'm sure you can all write with decency. GO

When I started out, about 6-7 montyhs ago, yeah I know that
makes me a newb, sue me... but when I started out it seemed like
a great place, helpful peeps, insightful glimpses into the world
and greater implications within the story... sure there were
some trolls, but they were mild annoyances... Hell, the
atmosphere made me feel like a part of something, I wante to be
a part of it... I tried to make myself as useful as possible,
joining SRM and trying to carve a unique niche for them, I
created a guide to the forum to make up for a lack of search
feature, I gave advice... and I argued about sociopathy, layed
verbal smackdowns on tards, and threw down some positively
disgusting posts about Shaundis diseased snizz in the light of
mirth.
As release date for SRTT drew closer, things shifted as people
too clueless to even visit the wiki, much less actually read
threads came in. Trolls multiplied... but at least the Pm
system and the forum design allowed the people who actually
cared to keep in touch with each other...
Once the site redesign hit, all the good aspects of the site
went tits up, as not only did the place get flooded with new
clueless twats, but all the old trolls who got banned were back
in full force, and the place has devolved into a hive of scum
and villiany.

I thought the forum was awesome, everyone was cool and Vsing was
pretty cool to start out... Then as time went by new people
started taking over and started problems with people and Vsing
became very biased and picked favorites. The SRTT forum was
great when I started and it went down hill.

SRFs have always been my "Spiritual Home" as far as forums are
concerned...
It's the best forum I have ever used...
I feel distanced from the place now for some reason...
I drop in and out as quickly as possible where as I used to post
LOADS...
I'm pretty down about the whole situation if I'm honest... :(

Once I joined up to the SR Forums back in march it was a nice
little forum with alot of decent discussion and speculation
about SR:TT then the SRM thread opened my eyes to some of the
more rarer vehicles in SR2 I hadn't managed to accquire.
For about my first 3 months things were steady away the majority
of members were very pleasant then once E3 rolled around alot of
underaged members started to join along with trolls which
gradually turned the place into a warzone. Other problems with
the massive influx is V-Sing is basically on his own so for him
to manage the forum hastle free is near enough impossible so
things that could be quickly resolved escalated into 10 page
frenzy's.
Sure he has Deadly Cyclone helping him out now but its still not
enough I honestly think they should have given out mod slots
around E3 then maybe it would still be a decent place to post.
But its way too late now to sort it out now the game arrives in
a couple of days now so its going to be 20x the chaos it is now
and personally I think the age and swear filter is just a cheap
cop out on accountability on their part.
It has quite a few decent members over there still but its hard
to keep track of everybody when there isn't a PM system to keep
in touch which is why i'm glad Ayngel made this forum because
now once the game is released I can keep in touch with you folks
without going to the SR Forums and risk having a massive piece
of the plot revealed.

I feel ya Ganton... and we tried, god did we try... to get V to
install some mods in the place...
I hang out at several forums, mostly Tabletop Rpg and Comic book
dedicated forums,... on all of them I am viewed as a respected
and regular personality, for the most part... RPGnet is.... a
little sensitive and lacking in humor... Hell I run my own
little used forum...
But I have never tried to maintain a presence at a forum that
has become as utterly toxic as SR... and going there, especially
since the switch, is a chore... which sucks balls because it
was the first forum I ever visisted where the developers were
involved, ad actually asking for suggestions and input...
Unfortunately, the whimpers of those possessed with intelligence
and taste were long ago drowned out by mouthbreathing retards
hollering in crescendo flecked with drool about bigger bewbs,
farts, dildos and derr derr durr...
Finding out the developers are not only fans of Tim and Eric,
but are including their crap into the game, is like seeing video
of Harrison Ford, dressed as Indiana Jones, scratching his
butthole, then sniffing his finger, then shaking peoples
hands... just utterly dissapointing and devastating to your
ability to ever respect them again...

I feel about the situation much like all have you have stated
I'm very displeased over the Forum changes, I just wished they
left the forum as is , and just changed the other stuff (if
needed)
I'm rather upset than none of the mods have spoke to the
community about how they feel :-(
I had 3 great years being a part of that forum and I'm very
greatful to have met all of you :-)
RIP old Forum... it surely is the end of an era (so to speak)
I shall live and hope they make changes to the forum and focus
on the issues raised

When I first joined the Sr forums, I was looking for a new forum
to make my home, I had been on other forums before but people
just seemed too... idk immature and mainstream? But the SR
forums changed that, I felt more at home with the people I met
there, they're just so much nicer and easier to get along with.
:p
So, I was there for a few weeks, and I decided to start posting
my Shaundi's Side story as I wrote it, People loved it! And so
my love for Saints Row and it's forums grew.
As the Saints Row the third release date grew nearer, as someone
else said, people started popping up that didn't belong there.
So, I figured whatever, the people that care will still be
mostly there.
Then the update came around, and the site went to hell with
trolls and noobs. (Granted, I could be considered a noob, I had
almost 1K posts on there, and in tht short amount of time, that
many posts that actually meant something, tell me that doesn't
amount to much! XD)
I'm just thankful that Ayngel made this new forum, it's so much
easier to navigate and I know that I'll get that same atmosphere
that I saw when I first joined.

*WARNING, cursing up ahead! LoL*
:-\I pretty much feel how everyone else feels. Angry, upset
and all of the above! Everytime I visit the forums now, it's
like I just immediately feel angry as hell! I feel like all of
our accomplishments, are being thrown to the side, and aren't
being noticed much anymore. More then EVER do ppl have sticks up
their asses, and the enjoyment, and laughter is practically
gone, since ppl are to busy acting like "Goody-2-fuckin'-good
shoes!" (I hate to word it like this, but the SR forums, are
being tooken over, by bunch of noobie ass, crybabies, who
haven't even dropped their balls yet, let alone smelled a
vajaja! The forum is quite frankly ridiculous now. I've never
been on such a site, where I've been on it for almost 2 years,
to now feel like shit on, and like I'm simply....nothing. ;(
...I'm thankful for this place, because I can keep up with my
REAL friends, and actually laugh, and have some fun. :P
