helicopter in the syndicate tower??

During the Belgian Problem on my second playthrough I looked up
where the express elevators are and you can see right to the top
so I took Shaundi and Pierce over to the airport jacked a
Thompson and managed to fly it inside the interior during the
mission.
I only got like 3/4 of the way up before it failed due to
Shaundi or Pierce being "abandoned" but in 2 Player I could
probably pull it off and get up there and see whats what. Honest
to god I can't shake off a feeling that Syn Tower was supposed
to be your introduction to Stronghold customisation and it has a
Helipad, Garage and interior too. But due to the mission in the
upper levels being so short you can't really tell but if anyone
remembers the end of the power trailer the roof Loren,
Dewynters, MC, Shaundi and Pierce are on is the roof of Syn
Tower.
My guess is in one of the 3 big DLC packs it'll be a new crib.

I think you're right about them being on the roof of the tower
because the roofs do look a lot alike, but I don't think it will
ever be a crib. They were talking about being able to customize
it in one of the interviews. I think in the 8 mins of open world
game play... Anyway, the guy asks if we will be able to turn the
building into "your favorite melee weapon" and Greg Donovan says
something like that would be taking it too far. Then says how
you will be able to add things like a helipad to a stronghold.
So far all of the buildings have had helipads. I guess though,
trouble with clones could incorporate the use of the building.
Oleg says in The Belgian Problem that they could use the
building for research.

You know I think they made an error with the Strongholds coding
because the base and level 1 are the same when I think they
originally intended to keep the Casino, Nuke Plant and Safeword
in there base forms then have us upgrade them as we see fit.
But I guess we'll see whats what in 2012 when the proper DLC is
released.
Btw if anyone has being trying to get things from the military
base if you use Mayors Favour while there the Notoriety takes
alot longer to appear especially if you stay out of sight.

Ganton I just tried to get a helicopter to the top of the tower.
I couldn't get either the tornado or the thompson through the
circle that the ball falls through. I tried getting through
there quite a few times and I couldn't get through. There was
still a lot of the top to get to though that I couldn't reach.

Nice work getting as far as you did HooHoo I just wish the
flashbang glitch still worked like in SR2 that would make it
much easier as i'd just head up to the helipad and try fall
through to the interior like I did to get into the Ronin Hotel
in SR2.
Mind you in terms of glitches its still early days yet there
will be plenty of things to uncover I read IdolNinja and Co who
modded SR2 managed to implement the Syndicate Bank in Stilwater
that is located somewhere outside of the sea boundry to make it
accessable.
Wis has found quite alot of gems this time around and has been
quite creative in terms of getting vehicles.

I think it's actually just the Saints HQ in the Power Trailer.
Even though it looks somewhat different, but if you check when
Oleg is fighting one of those Morningstar people (throwing him
off the roof)...you can clearly see one of those
parasols/chairs...which you also have at the roof terrace of the
Saints HQ and you can see a small part of a swimming pool, and
the only crip with a swimming pool is the Saints HQ. By the way,
I don't say that it cannot be the Syndicate Tower, could be
possible, but honestly I think the building in the Power trailer
is really meant to be the Saints HQ, but then a bit over the top
looking.
