Thanks WB. It's a great game and I might add chapter titles to
help people huh?
7th March 2013
Blood splattered on the ground behind the Pavano thugs, one was
hit in the forehead and chest by shots from Philips shotgun and
the other was struck twice in the stomach and once in the thigh
from James's MP10. They walked over to Pavano thugs on the
ground, one was obviously dead and the other was clutching his
bleeding leg as his vest had stopped the bullets from
penetrating his stomach.
He went for his gun when he noticed James and Philip coming at
them, but Philip was to quick and put a large hole in his head
also. They reloaded their weapons a they moved towards the boat
along the docked barge. On the main dock the firefight continued
with Randy behind the van again clutching his blood soaked
shoulder and two Pavano thugs were on the ground, both wound,
one mortally.
..."Shoot him, I'll jump on the boat and get the other one"
James said as they got close to the boat.
James ran to the edge of the barge and jumped the gap as he did
the Pavano thug on the boat went to shoot him but was stopped by
a perfectly placed shot to his unprotected chest, he stumbled
backwards and fell out of the boat as James landed and
immediately turned to the face Pavano thug inside the cabin.
They both fired at each other with bullets passing through the
windows and thing wall of the cabin but neither were hit, James
rushed into the cabin and fired another burst again, but the
thug just got out of the way and tried to shoot James with his
automatic pistol. James was close enough to the thug to grab the
pistol and turn it away as it was fired.
They wrestled for the gun and fired bullets out the side window
of the cabin and barely missed Philip he jumped to the wooden
deck of the barge to avoid the bullets. Philip got up and ran
for the boat and just avoided gunfire from the Capo who noticed
him. Philip took cover on the boat and fired back at the Capo,
while James and the thug wrestled on the boat and everybody else
shot at each other in the darkness of the early morning.
James overpowered the thug and rammed his head through the
window of the boat and then smashed it against the wall and let
th thug dropped to the floor.
Philip popped his head up to fire back at the Capo and saw his
brains splatter up the wall and his body crash to the ground,
Simon ducked back down and grinned at his perfect shot. Philip
turned around and saw James toss the thug into the water which
woke him up and he immediately started kicking and panicking in
the water.
..."Let's go!" James said.
..."Good idea" Philip said and then jumped to his feet and
rushed inside to pilot the boat.
..."Hey wait, wait!" The thug in the water shouted and then
tried to grab his gun even though he dropped it on the boat and
was in the water.
..."They got the boat, let's get the hell outta here!" Simon
shouted.
..."Jesse, I'll cover you" Max shouted.
Jesse rushed back to the van from the concrete barrier and
helped Randy into the van. Once they were in, both Max and Simon
got in the van and Simon shot forward as more bullets hit the
side of the van. Simon turned the van around and started heading
back the the way they came, which max shooting from the
passenger side window as they did.
Jesse leaned out the glassless windows in the back doors of the
van and fired at the Bobcat pickup truck sitting near the
warehouse. The bullets riddled the engine of the Bobcat and
rendered it useless to the surviving four Pavano thugs, one of
which was in the water and two were wounded.
James and Philip docked the boat the aforementioned pier and
other members of the crew were waiting with a Mule to unload it
and, they started unloading it straight away. It took them ten
minutes and then as they were leaving, they set fire to the boat
and left a full Jerry Can in the middle of the boat, hoping it
would explode and leave a hole in the boat so it would sink.
The sun was rising over the city when Simon drove the van into
the garage and Perry closed the door behind them and stood there
watching as Arnie and Jack dragged Randy from the van and put
him on a bench they had just cleaned and Arnie went right to
work on Randy's shoulder.
James was leaning against the wall near the door to the Parts
Store waiting to be told he go home and get sleep when came over
to him with something in a fresh bit of rag. He handed it to
James and stood there silently. James opened the rag and was
surprised to find a Colt 45. Pistol with Red grip on the handle
and a shiny red trigger.
..."Where'd you get this?" James asked.
..."I found a box of them, all different colours and styles, I
knew you liked red, so I snatched that one for ya" Perry
explained.
..."Awesome. Thanks for that" James said while examining the
gun.
..."I'm keeping a box of ammunition aside, if you want some just
come and see me" Perry explained
..."Alright" James said with a nod.
..."James, Tomorrow, I need you and Allan to do some deliveries
tomorrow, but you can have the rest of the day off" Mr Flanagan
said to James as Perry was walking away.
..."Sounds good" James said.
..."Good" Mr Flanagan said and continued walking.
James went over to Perry and got a few clips for his gun and
left the garage and walked along the street and then up the
grassy hill and through Steinway, cutting across the basketball
courts and under the tracks, he walked down the hill and to his
new home. He walked inside and went upstairs, he left his
wallet, keys, phone and gun on the bedside table and went
straight to sleep.

Not the best couple of chapters. I had this idea fleshed out in
my head for a long time, but when it came to writing it, it just
sorta sucked. I'm going to watch a few more gangster movies and
play some GTA and get back into this properly.

8th March 2013
It was drizzling rain but still kind of warm as Mr Flanagan in
his trench coat walked into the busy nightclub and in tow was
Byron, Jeffrey and James. James had to let his eyes adjust to
the flashing, bright and colourful lights of the club compared
to the dim street lights outside. A short skinny man in a grey
suit with a black undershirt and no tie rushed over to them and
greeted them each with a handshake and a respectful hello.
…”Mr Flanagan so good to see you again” The man said while
shaking his hand.
…”Daniel McNamara, how’s your mother?” Mr Flanagan asked.
…”She’s well. Um, uh, Mr Erickson is waiting for you in V.I.P
section 2” Daniel explained.
…”Thanks” Mr Flanagan said and then walked past Daniel and
Byron, Jeffrey and James followed.
They walked up the stairs to a section overlooking the rest of
the club; there were 3 other similar sections around the club.
Mr Flanagan and Byron took a seat on one of the 2 couches
separated by a coffee table, James and Jeffrey stood directly
behind the couch. Sitting on the other couch was John Erickson
and his main lieutenant
…”Mr Flanagan, it’s a pleasure” John said and extended his hand.
…”Same to you John” Mr Flanagan said and reached out and shook
his hand.
…”So, we’ll get straight to business then?” John asked.
…”Sure, I hate clubs, so the quicker, the better” Mr Flanagan
exclaimed.
…”Alright, I understand you have a shipment of guns?” John said
bluntly.
…”I do, I understand you have a buyer for said guns?” Mr
Flanagan asked.
…”I do” John said.
…”Alright, here is my proposal, I’ll give you the shipment, you
take it and sell it, and you bring the money back to me. We
split it 90% to 10%” Mr Flanagan said.
…”I agree, but it’ll be fifty, fifty” John bargained.
…”85% to 15% Mr Flanagan said not changing his facial
expression.
…”60 to 40” John replied.
…”80 to 20” Mr Flanagan said.
…”70 to 30?” John asked hoping he would agree.
….”Sounds good” Mr Flanagan agreed to the price.
…”Okay then, we’ll stop by the garage tomorrow and pick them up”
John said and then shook Mr Flanagan’s hand again and left the
club. Soon after Mr Flanagan, James, Jeffrey and Byron left as
well.
9th March 2013
James parked Mr Flanagan’s intruder on the side of the road and
Max walked out of the shop with a brown paper bag and got in the
backseat with Mr Flanagan and handed him the bag.
…”We’re going to Outlook park” Perry stated from the passenger
seat.
…”Alright” James said. And pulled back onto the road and
continued driving.
James had been driving for Mr Flanagan more and more since
Oliver’s funeral and James wasn’t sure why, he guessed it was
because of his size and fighting skills as compared to most over
guys in the crew, who were better with guns or paper criminals
as Mr Flanagan called them. The guys who were more suited to
running booking operations and scams to physical extortion and
thuggery.
…”Turn the radio up” Mr Flanagan ordered as he heard ‘Life in
the Fast Lane’ come on.
James did as he was told and turned the radio up and the four
listened to the music in silence as they drove through the busy
streets of Downtown Broker. They past Outlook Park and James
parked the car next to the kerb and they waited as an average
looking man with a heavy Russian accent walked over to the car
and started talking to them through the window as James turned
the music down.
…”Mister Flanagan, Mister Petrovic is sorry for the
inconvenience of this, but he believes he is under investigation
and wishes to protect his associates from the investigation.
He’ll no longer be requiring your services, unless said by
myself or Mister Petrovic, assume any offer of work for us is a
trap” The Russian man explained.
…”Alright thank you” Mr Flanagan said and then reached into the
brown paper bag and handed the Russian a fraction of the money
inside of it.
…”Thank you sir” The Russian said and then left the car and
walked away, he headed through the park in case he was being
followed.
…”Home James and don’t spare the horses” Mr Flanagan said to
which Perry and Max laughed. James didn’t know what to say so he
laughed to and then put the car in gear and drove away.
James drove down Earp Street and turned right at the
intersection at the bottom of the hill and drove up Munsee
Street and stopped at the traffic lights on the intersection of
Munsee street and Dillion Street. As they sat in the idling
Intruder listening to Liberty Rock Radio ad Iggy ranting about
something, a Blue Schafter coming screaming up beside them and
then slowed down as they passed the Intruder and bullets come
screaming through the Intruder.
Bullets shattered the windows and riddled the windscreen, the
doors were full of bullets and head rests on the seats were
taken off by the bullets. The Schafter sped away, but James
wasn’t letting them go without a fight. James bailed out of the
car and fired his Colt 45 as quick as he could and then reloaded
and kept shooting as the Schafter raced away, with the trunk
riddled with bullets and the back window shattered.
…”You alright Mister Flanagan?” Perry asked.
…”I’m fine, James get in the car!” Mr Flanagan ordered.
…”James rushed back to the car and violently jammed it into gear
and raced away just as the lights were turning yellow. People
watched from their other cars as nobody else’s car was even hit
and nobody decided to call the police, because so many people
saw it happen they figured somebody else would.
-------------------------------
James got paid and then paid
off some of his debt and did
some grocery shopping

9th March 2013
James walked into the warehouse by himself carrying his gym bag
and headed to the changing rooms that were now set up at the
back of the warehouse behind old wooden bleachers that had been
set up so people could get up higher to see the fight without
crowding the scaffolding that was behind that.
James got into his fighting jeans and left his shirt and boots
off, he put on his gloves and the old cowboy hat with the clover
painted on it and started stretching as his fight was coming up,
on his way in the fight before his was just starting. He was in
the main event tonight and he was going against Maniac.
James walked out to the ring and vaulted over the fence around
the ring and stretched his shoulders one more time as Maniac
walked into the ring and looked at James and nodded as Jackson
and the referee came in to the ring and stood between Maniac and
James.
..."Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages,
I am proud to bring you the first fight of the evening, it will
be contested between two fighters, with standard rules applying.
Introducing First... Weighing in at 231 Pounds and standing at
6ft 3 inches tall, he hails from Steinway… The Celtic Cowboy…
and his opponent… Weighing in at 248 Pounds and standing at 6ft
4 Inches, he hails from Right here in East Hook! He is unbeaten
in 29 Fights… MANIAC!” Jackson announced.
James and Maniac grappled with each other and Maniac being
stronger threw James to the ground and immediately went after
him, but James rolled across the mat and jumped to his feet and
then rushed at Maniac, but Maniac grabbed him by his waist and
put James over his shoulder and then threw him on the ground and
backed away.
James got up an clenched his fists and worked his way to Maniac
who did the same, James swung with his right but purposely
missed and then swung with his left and Maniac blocked it, James
then swung his right again and hit Maniac in the cheek. Maniac
went with the momentum and turned to his right but continued
turning and spun right around creating a sweeping motion with
his right arm and hit James across the face and then did the
same with his left arm.
James stumbled away but didn’t let that stop him and went right
back to Maniac, but as he turned to go back to Maniac, he was
picked up and slammed on the ground and then Maniac tried to put
him in a submission hold. James knew this and put distance
between himself and Maniac and got to his feet.
Maniac rushed James once again and drove him backwards and tried
to pick him up for a slam again, but James fought out of it, but
a swift uppercut to the rib cage and then Maniac led with the
sole of his foot as he kicked James in the head and James fell
face first onto the metal fence and opened the wound on his
forehead once again, causing blood to stream once again from his
hairline.
James got blood in his eyes as Maniac pulled him away and tried
to put him in a rear naked choke hold, but James knew enough to
start elbowing backwards, hitting Maniac hard enough in the
stomach to get away and try to regroup. James was blinking
quickly and the blood streamed down his face and managed to get
a couple of solid right and left hooks into Maniac as the
persistent fighter continued attacking James. He managed to knee
James twice in the chest and once in the shoulder.
James managed to Maniac over himself and Maniac ended up on the
mat in a sitting position where James went for a Half Nelson
submission hold, but he didn’t know how to put it on properly
and Maniac simply pulled James over himself and James landed on
the top of his head in between Maniac’s knees.
Maniac got onto his knees and tried to put James in the Half
Nelson, but James gave an uppercut and hit Maniac in the chin
and knocked him back and James rushed to his feet and got away
from Maniac, but the distance between them was Short Lived as
Maniac was on the attack again.
James out of desperation kicked Maniac in the stomach and then
began delivering a barrage of punches and strikes, causing a cut
on Maniacs cheek to appear onto of a large swelling lump. Maniac
caught one of James’s strikes and dragged James close to him and
decked James and then jumped on top of him and got up and rubbed
the cut on his cheek as the ref started counting.
James refused to stay down and got up on the 8, Maniac grabbed
hold of James and used his soupier strength to pick the warn out
James up and slam him hard on the ground with Maniac landing on
top of him again.
Maniac stood up and watched as James got up again and this time
Maniac started punching and kicking James. But James jumped and
down something he’d seen on TV and kicked Maniac in the face
with his heel. James landed on his hands and knees, turned
around and tackled Maniac and began pummelling him. But Maniac
was able to land a good shot in the side of James head which put
him on the mat.
Both Maniac and James got to their feet and stared at each
other, Maniac had a swollen cheek and cut on it, James had a
face covered in blood, a black eye, a split lip and several
bruises forming on his torso. James rushed Maniac, but Maniac
used James’s momentum to slam him onto the mat and go for a
submission. But James just out of luck while trying to fight out
of it, managed to lock his own in.
But Maniac let go of his and James had to let his go as well,
otherwise he was open to attack. Maniac rushed James again put
him in a submission that targeted James’s shoulder, which was
injured by Lord Mike the previous week. James started swinging
wildly and landed a few shots on Maniac and managed once again
to separate himself Maniac.
Maniac grabbed hold of James and started working the shoulder
once again, with his knee and James remembered what he did last
week and using all his remaining strength to hoist Maniac up and
started running for the slam, Maniac adjusted his grip and
braced for impact and James jumped and slammed Maniac on the
ground.
But Maniac had himself in a perfect spot to reverse it and
rolled through and had James locked in a variant of the
Americana before James knew what was happening. James’s injured
shoulder was in extreme and pain and that with the bruises on
his body and the blood pouring down his face, he tried to fight
for five seconds before tapping the mat and Maniac let go of the
hold and James immediately grabbed his shoulder and held it with
his left hand as the portion of the pain in his arm remained.
…”Your winner, by Submission… Maniac” Jackson announced.
James used his left arm to get to his feet and looked at Maniac
who was about to leave the ring.
…”Hey!” James said, with blood being blown off his lips as he
said it.
Maniac turned around and looked as James extending his left
hand, Maniac walked back over and shook his hand which was met
with a round of applause by most of the 871 people in
attendance.
James was given a $100 for his effort and had his wound stitched
up once again and had an icepack tapped his shoulder and was
told to ice the other bruises and got to the hospital if the
pain continued in his shoulder for over a day.

10th March 2013
James stood in the corner of his Loft with a dumbbell in each
hand and Hard Rock playing on his stereo, he had been exercising
and working out since 8:30 that morning when he woke up and it
was now lunch time. His body was in great amounts of pain, but
he was upset with himself for losing and was determined to not
lose again, ever again, he wasn't putting his body through that
much torment and pain for a hundred dollars every week.
There was a buzz at the speaker, he gently put the dumbbells
down and walked over to the buzzer and held the button in.
..."Yeah?" He asked harshly.
..."It's Perry and Allan, can we come in?" Perry asked.
..."Yeah" James said and hit another button that let the lock go
and Perry opened the door and walked in with Allan in tow.
They walked up the stairs and came into the loft and immediately
noticed James in nothing but shorts, covered in sweat lifting
weights in the corner.
..."That must've set you back some?" Allan asked looking at the
electric lock.
..."Yeah, it will once i get the bill for it, what I was going
to win last night was suppose to pay for it" James said in
between grunts as he continued lifting weights.
..."Yeah we heard, tough break" Perry said as he looked at a
boxing magazine that was sitting on the table.
..."It won't happen again" James said as he continued.
..."Look stop it" Perry said and went grabbed the dumbbells off
James and put them down.
..."Get dressed, we got a job that'll help get the anger out!"
Perry said.
..."Watch some TV, I'm going to have a shower" James said and
then headed to the bathroom to have a shower.
Perry and Allan sat down and watched a Sports Recap show that
aired every Sunday at 1:00 pm, while James showered and then got
dressed in his usual shirt, jeans and a pair of Skateboarding
shoes as was getting sick of living in boots.
..."Right, what are we doing" James asked as he wrapped a
Bandana around his head to hold his long hair back and covering
the gash on his forehead.
..."This stupid fuck is running in one of the Project
Buildings... We gotta go and rough up one of his dealers and
find out where exactly, Byron and few of the boys will take it
from there" Perry said.
..."Is that all?" James asked.
..."No, cause then a cop buddy of ours is having trouble with
some wimp beating his wife, he can't do anything about it, so
he's hired us to do it, but we gotta find the dealer first"
Perry explained.
..."Sounds like a good, fun filled day" James said with a slight
grin.
James put on a pair of Aviator Sunglasses to cover the bruising
around his eyes and the trio left the Housing Unit and got into
the Chavos Perry was driving. Perry drove the car and James and
Allan out to the East Island City tunnel. The Trio left the
Chavos parked on the side of the road and walked up through the
park and Allan pointed out the dealer, an African American man
in an orange Hooded Jacket.
..."Can I help you Gentle.meeen?" He asked the Trio walked up to
him.
..."Aww shit!" He said as he realized who they were.
He started running, but Allan pulled a Suppressed Pistol out of
his belt and shot the dealer in the back of the leg: causing the
dealer to crash to the ground in pain as he clutched at his leg.
James grabbed him by the front of his shirt as his jacket was
zipped up and hit him across the face.
..."Jesus Christ!" The dealer said and then spat a clump of
blood out of his mouth.
James then backhanded him and punched him again and then Perry
pulled him away and crouched down next to the dealer as Allan
pointed the suppressed pistol at him. The Dealer looked in panic
at the gun and then at James cracking his knuckles in case he
had to work him over again.
..."Listen you stupid fuck, this is Flanagan turf, all you
dealers will learn one way or the other, you pay Mr Flanagan for
the privileged to deal in Steinway and East Island City" Perry
explained calmly but threateningly as well,
..."Son. I don't know nothing bout that, I was just here to
deal, I'm sure my supplier is paying" The Dealer said
respectfully trying to avoid a bullet to the head.
..."Well, that's the thing, you are going to tell us where he is
and we're going to walk away from you. But you're going to
spread the word, Mr Flanagan isn't a push over anymore, he runs
West Dukes and if you gotta problem with that, you can take it
up with me" Perry explained.
Allan then institutionally put the gun right against the dealers
head.
..."Nobody heard anything when I put a bullet through your leg
and was standing next to a group of people, there's nobody
around us now, what makes you think I won't put a bullet in your
head right now" Allan threatened.
..."Alright, alright, chill out dogs. Building 7, Room 67, I'll
tell everyone, I promise" He said and then put his hand over his
heart.
..."Good, thank you for your cooperation, If you continue
dealing, 10% gets dropped at Flanagan Auto Parts and Restoration
every Thursday." Perry explained and then the trio left the
dealer lying in the grass with blood oozing from the entry and
exit wounds in his ankle.
They got back into the Chavos and Perry called Byron and told
him where the apartment was and they waited and stayed in the
car and watched the dealer as he sat in the grass and watched
them back. After 10 minutes Byron called Perry back and told him
they busted up the Drug lab and they were free to keep going.
..."So, Mr Flanagan's taking control. Turning the crew into a
gang?" James asked.
..."Yep, over the next week some people are going to be in for a
hell of a shock" Perry said.
There was a break in the traffic and Perry pulled the Chavos
away from the curb and drove over to Cerveza Heights and aprked
outside one of the many brownstones just south of the Police
Station and they waited.
..."He's tall, grayish black short hair and a beard, and should
be coming out of this one right here" Perry explained to Allan
and James.
They waited for a while before a man fitting that description
came out of the house and began walking down the street. The
Trio bailed out of the car and James got in front of him first
and confronted him.
..."You think, beating your wife makes a big man!" James yelled
at him.
..."What I do, to MY Wife. Is my business and not some thugs!"
He yelled.
..."Good, I was hoping you were the right person!" James said
and hit him on the chin and he stumbled back, then Allan caught
him with a right hook and he crashes to the footpath.
James hit him once with each hand and then Perry came through
and kicked him in the stomach and then Allan pulled Perry out of
the way and laid into the man, before Perry moved Allan out of
the way so James could hit the man with a trash can lid. Bending
it over the side of his head. Perry then brought the man to his
feet and hit him several times in the face and then James hit
him across the head with the lid again and he crashed to the
ground.
He scurried to try and get away but was kicked against the wall
then James and Allan starting laying into him again. Perry
grabbed a trash can and then tipped it on the man and then
smacked the trash can on the man, causing it dent.
James gave a couple of solid uppercuts and then Allan stomped on
the mans leg and they stepped back as Perry through the trash
can at the man and left him lying on the concrete, bloodied,
bruised and covered in trash.
..."You ever, hit your wife or any other woman or kid again and
we'll fucking kill you!" Perry yelled at the man.
The Trio drove away as the man laid on the street groaning in
pain and trying to get up, but couldn't. People looked on in
astonishment at what they had just witnessed. He coughed and
called for someone to help, but the words Perry yelled at as
they were leaving stuck with them and left him to bleed right
there on the footpath.
..."Feel better now?" Allan asked.
..."I'm happier, but I'm really fucking sore" James said.
..."Go and see this chick, she gives massages to sportsmen and
people like that, take the working out easy and just relax"
Allan said as he wrote out a phone number and address on James's
hand.
Perry dropped James off at his home and drove away as James went
back inside and sat down to watch an MMA DVD to try and learn
something.

Thanks heaps for the comments lads, appreciate it.
11th March 2013
It was midday, the sun was shining down on the Dukes streets as
the city bustled with activity. James walked up the footpath on
Dukes Boulevard, he had just gotten a massage and it wasn't what
he though it would be. It was painful, but that was because it
was for an injury not for pleasure.
James answered his phone and danced around a woman pushing a
stroller, as he didn't notice them at first. James talked with
Mr Flanagan for a few minutes and then changed instead of going
home he walked to Mr Flanagan's house for a quick meeting.
James was still wearing his bandanna and sunglasses to cover the
swelling, bruising, and cuts on his upper face, he was happy,
there was only a little bit of bruising and cut on the lower
half of his face and his beard mostly cover that.
James was let into Mr Flanagan's house by Mr Flanagan who was in
the middle of cooking himself lunch. James walked into the
living room and looked around, it was a very clean house, but it
wasn't heavily decorated, Although above the fireplace was a
picture of Mr Flanagan and what James assumed was his family: Mr
Flanagan, a woman, and 3 kids who looked between the ages of 7
and 13.
..."Sit down James" Mr Flanagan said as he walked into the
living room carrying a plate with two toasted sandwiches and cup
of coffee on it.
..."Okay" James said and sat down on a large leather reclining
chair, but didn't lounge it in, instead he sat straight up and
Mr Flanagan sat on the similar couch next to a coffee table,
where he placed his lunch and began to eat.
..."Let me ask you something" Mr Flanagan said in between a bite
of his sandwich and a mouthful of his coffee.
..."Sure" James said in a funny voice and then couched and
cleared his throat..."Sure" He said again in his proper voice.
..."You ever visit your grandparents?" Flanagan asked.
..."No, I keep going to, but I never do" James admitted.
..."Well you should, Richard and Margret are lovely people" Mr
Flanagan stated before taking another bite out of his sandwich.
..."You know them?" James asked surprised.
..."Yeah, I do... Your grandfather, Richard, actually brought me
into the Irish Mafia back in the 80's" Mr Flanagan explained.
..."Wait, granddad was in the Irish Mob?" James asked. he was
very surprised by what Mr Flanagan had just told him.
..."Yeah, he was a soldier, he was one of the few to make it
alive and not in prison" Mr Flanagan explained.
James remained silent, completely taken aback by this news, but
as he though about things, it explained a few things about his
childhood and why he was so accepting of his biker father. After
thinking for a few minutes about everything James finally
figured out what he was going to say.
..."So is that why you hired me?" James asked.
..."No, I always get guys like you, fighters, ex cons, but most
people, come to me looking to join. That's where you are
different" Mr Flanagan explained.
..."Because you offered me a spot without me asking?" James
asked slightly confused on what Mr Flanagan was trying to say.
..."Exactly, now cops or informants never take that big of an
indirect approach, it's to risky and unpredictable... That plus
you revenge for Oliver and family history, proves to me, you
ain't a cop, nor are you an informant" Mr Flanagan explained to
James.
..."What are you talking about?" James asked, now completely
confused.
..."By now, I guess you've heard, I'm getting out of the
protection game and turning this crew into a gang" Mr Flanagan
said.
..."Yeah, Perry was saying yesterday" James said.
..."Good, I don't need to explain further. Anyway, I want
somebody around me at all time, because I get the feeling I'm
going to upset a few people, so I want drivers, you're going to
be one of them" Mr Flanagan explained.
..."I am?" James asked.
..."Yeah, you Randy and Jack will be my drivers, when you aint
driving for me, you do whatever the hell you want" Mr Flanagan
explained.
..."Sounds good" James said after a moment of thought.
..."Good." Mr Flanagan said.
They sat there in silence for a moment before James spoke up.
..."Am I right to go, or did you want something else?" James
asked.
..."Yeah, I'll call you, want I need you. Just do me a couple of
favors this afternoon" Mr Flanagan said.
..."What?" James asked.
..."Call Ryan and tell him to come here and go and see your
grandparents" Mr Flanagan said.
..."Sure thing, Mister Flanagan" James said.
James walked out of the house and called Ryan as he walked along
the North side of Steinway heading home. When he hung up he
began thinking about getting some sort of normal life back, he
always wanted a dog and he was thinking about getting a car, he
wanted a truck though. He pondered on his life and started
imaging scenarios where he could make a lot more money from the
fights and maybe even fight less, allowing himself to heal up
between fights.
As James walked under the tracks nearing his home a grey Admiral
sedan pulled up just ahead of James and two men in suits got out
the car and walked towards James and he knew there was going to
be trouble.
..."Mister James. Sean. Doyle?" One of the men in suits asked.
..."Who's asking" James said defensively.
..."Detective Keller"
..."And Detective Baldwin of the LCPD"
..."Well, Mister Keller and Mister Baldwin, if you got something
to say to me, say it" James said.
..."Alright, do you mind sitting in the car with us?" Keller
asked.
..."Yes, but I'm guessing I'm not any position to argue" James
said.
..."This ones smart" Keller said to Baldwin.
They walked to the Admiral and got in, James and Keller in the
backseat with Baldwin sat in the drivers seat.
..."Listen punk, we're not being official anymore, your boss is
treading on toes and we're feeling the effects, you convince him
to give up wanting be a 'Gangsta' and go back to doing
protection jobs and nothing bad will happen. Got that" Keller
threatened.
James thought quickly and just started laughing.
..."What!" Baldwin asked angrily.
..."I have no idea what you two are talking about. I'm a
mechanic and amateur fighter. Gangsters, protection jobs. You
two are crazy" James said as convincingly as possible.
Keller and Baldwin looked at each other and figured James was
bullshitting.
..."Listen, Mister Flanagan is a hired gun, you and your buddies
are hired guns. None of you are drug runners, gun traffickers or
extortionists, and never will be got that, you get Flanagan to
back down and call a truce with Bianchi and Assad and there
won't be a problem" Baldwin threatened.
..."Look I don't know what, either of you are talking about, but
I think you've got me and my co-workers and employer mixed up
with some other people. I'm sorry for wasting your time" James
said. Keller immediately became enraged, drew his pistol and
held it to James's chin.
..."Bullshit, all you want, you know what we're asking, do it,
or else" Keller threatened.
..."Alright, alright whatever you say" James said.
..."Good know get out" Keller said then pushed James back
towards the door. James opened the door and got out and slammed
in the door in frustration and watched as the detectives drove
away. James turned around and started walking back to Mr
Flanagan's house.

I'm getting to like all the characters in this story, I like
learning about their lives. This story has been fantastic since

Sorry WB, but I'm not feeling this story anymore. I had a
perfect plot set out that lasted for until about September in
the story and that's where it would finish with an open end. I
meant to have the chapters done around the time GTA 5 came out.
But then I watched a few movies and TV shows and got some new
ideas and seen things similar to my ideas in other things and
decided to change it up. But Now I regret that.
I'll give it to a few weeks after GTA 5 comes out. But I'll
probably rewrite it in GTA 5 settings, with the things I wish
I'd done in this story and a set plot instead of changing
details willy nilly.
Anyway, so that's how it goes. If anybody wants to know how this
ends, just ask.
