You're probably already aware that Volition was just acquired by
Deep Silver, so it looks like Saints Row will continue under a
new publisher. Not sure how you feel about that, but I don't
think much will change.

I'm from the northern part of the D - right by Southfield, due
east of Dearbornistan. Detroit is fucking magical, and I'll
straight merk a nigga if he be talkin' dat bullshit about
Saginaw being nicer. Then again, pretty much every city in the
U.S. looks nicer than Detroit, but we have amazing food so fuck
them. Get a shawarma for me bro.

Yea I read that a couple days ago. I don't know how much
difference a new publisher will make, and I don't really know
Deep Silver's track record amongst their fans, so someone
familiar with them will have to fill me in on that. But it's
still Volition in the driver's seat developing the game, and
they're the ones to killed Red Faction and ruined Saints Row, so
I don't have a lot of faith.
Maybe it will turn out ok if Deep Silver plants some 'overlords'
at Volition's offices with bullwhips and gives all the Volition
employees the mandate to "stop being terrible!" They would need
to double up the overlords on every member of the 'writing'
team, and I use the term 'writing' very loosely in Volition's
case.

I think Detroit is the only city where you can find an upturned
boat in the middle of a suburban street, and its all about that
pizza papalis and that monster deep dish! I reside in the down
river area, where you can find dirty vans covered with hatchet
man stickers or a drug front disguised as a candy shop?!?! 8)
