The Dawn's Reddish skies was right as Cortez & Manny set foot
on Liberty City grounds. Sexy women, good clientale and lots of
drugs and guns for everybody. Hardcore killer Manny Oates and
up-and-coming kingpin Cortez Rivera were about to show the world
how things are really done. From LC To Los Santos To Vice City..
ShowTime.... The Tale of Loyalty and Friendships falling apart,
families being killed
...................
I(Cortez) walked out of the airport with with a refreshing
grin on my face. The Liberty City air just did something to me,
it made me feel like I was about to be on top any second. My pal
Manny had came around to the front with the car we had just
bought from the Aiport Car/Rental Agency. I threw my duffel bag
in the backseat and hopped in. Manny, who was wearing a red &
white hawaiin shirt and had his bushy mustache lined up to match
his curly hair hanging down to his back, had already found us a
beachfront hotel until we got onto our feet in this new city. I
was excited to see what downtown algonquin looked like, I heard
so much about it. Theres no telling what type of people you'll
meet there.
I was wearing my hair with a short little cut ( Scarface style)
and had my goatee egded up real nice before I came. I was going
to be 27 in a Few months and Manny was going to be 31 Next Week.
We was going to be on fire.
The Liberty City traffic was just as I had imagined it but it
was cool, it was flowing pretty smoothly for what seemed like a
million and one cars stuck behind a red light. I turned on the
radio to make the trip flow more smoothly and what came on
shocked me.
" Ayeeeee, what is that I hear. Cortez that's my joint holmes.
Turn it up. "
" Since when did you like Patrick Swayzee She's Like The Wind?
"
" I don't know damn, i saw it at a drive thru theatre in Los
Santos. "
" Heheh, I Understand Hermano "
" ¿Dónde está la cocaína ( Where is the Cocaine? ) "
" In my bag why? "
" I know a Guy. "
" Already? "

" What Boricua we got to go to? "
" He told me to meet him at a apartment in Bohan. "

connect so we can have work. I'm talking Moutains of Money. This
guy.. Man oh Man.. This Guy has so much power, he can put a hit
on us and we'd be dead in 3 seconds. "

Making Friends
...................
I took a shower at the hotel and then through on my best
looking casual shirt I had. I didn't have much clothes but I
made do with the little I had My with button up actually went
nice with my Cuban fedora and white slacks/Black dress shoes.
Manny had on a t shirt and and some khakis. Manny was the type
who thought his guns is what mattered and made an outfit look
good and it was that same logic that got him arrested awhile
back. I picked up my wallet off the dresser and grabbed the
duffel bag, Manny followed behind me. The elevator was quite
crowded today, Wasn't sure what was up with that.
The traffic was light today, probably because it was morning
but I wasn't complaining. Bohan was straight up the expressway
and there alot of spanish and black people in that neighborhood
so it would be like back home. The toll booth guard looked like
he wanted to check us so I just kept cool. He displayed the
price, I threw the 5 in and we went right in. Bohan was a lively
neighborhood and it looked like I would be coming here more
often. The music, the street vendors, the hustlers and the sexy
senioritas walking around, Eh, my kind of place.
Manny & I glanced for every possible building that said 112.
We couldn't ask anybody random becuase if something went wrong
and the pigs went asking around then they could trace us. We
drove further up the street and next to and old mechanic garage
was a brownstone building that said 107-118.
I grabbed the duffel bag, which had a shotty in it and walked
in. Manny came behind me with his gun in his pants. The stairs
seemed long and tiresome but our trip was short. A door that
said 112 was open. We waltzed in sceamed out the guy's name.
" Titoooo !?? *In Unison* "
" Yeah, I'm in the back. "
We walked in the backroom and witnessed Tito getting a
blowjob and smoking a cigarette.
" Ayee Holmes! "
Tito fanned away the crack-whore and got up slowly while
buckling up his pants
" You got that coke? "
" Yeh Its right.. * Cut-Off* "
" Hold on ! "
Tito spranged to the window and then ran into his bedroom and
grabbed his assualt rifle.
" This Rival cartel is after me, The Angelico Cartel,
They're after me! But, I ain't going down without a fight. You
better get in cover or get out of here but I suggest you take
the stairs outside the window. Here is a paper and a letter. The
paper has the address and the letter is my approval so you can
meet this high rank in the gang and he will connect you with one
of the warring familia's or gangs. Anybody really. Now Go! "
Before we could leave, the gangster's came in and shot up
the joint. I got against the wall, my heart was racing and I
didn't know what to do. Manny was crawlin, trying to get next me
without getting hit. He stood up and pulled out his pistol and I
grabbed my shotty.
" We gonna shot our way out! "
" 1..2..3!! "
Manny put on his rosary and ducked, shooting up a storm as he
made way room to room. I ran out in the hallway with my duffel
bag slung in front of my body to serve as a vest. A guy came out
of nowhere and I shotgunned him without even thinking. Tito was
slumped against the wall firing his ak47 and reloading like it
was nothing. He had a pretty nasty wound on the right side of
his chest. Shells were just hitting the ground. Manny & I ran
out the apartment and hopped in the car. The ambulence was
screaming down the street. We were lucky to be alive and I had
secretly took 2,000 dollars off the floor.
