Thanks Wetbizket! :D
I dunno if you heard or not, but I'm writing a crossover story
between Evelyn, My Friend's MC, and all their lieutenants. (As
in two of everyone) and it's working really well, it might be up
next week or so, I dunno. XD)

Wow, D-Dog666 just pointed out that I left out Party time! WTF?
XD
Steelport, here I am! & Party Time
Shaundi woke up in the bed of Jake’s old place, now her place.
Evelyn was nowhere to be found, as usual. Shaundi sat up, and
looked around for the letter or envelope that was usually laying
around whenever she left unexpectedly during the night. After a
brief search, she found one, this time it was just a letter, no
envelope, no fancy folding, it lay under the pillow next to her.
She pulled it out, and read it. “Hey Shaundi, Pierce wanted me
to go meet him in the park, we need to strategize to get Loren.
Relax and take the day off, I know it’s hard to do, but just do
it, for me? I love you… so much, Shaundi. ~Evelyn” Shaundi
smiled, she looked around, and remembered what all happened last
night after the cry-fest with Evelyn. They had gone to eat at a
cheap and sleazy burger joint, Smiling Jack’s, which was
surprisingly good. They had somewhat planned out how to get the
Morning Star, but not really. The farthest they got was how many
people they’d take with them, and what guns they’d be using. The
next thing they knew, they where talking about how nice some pot
would be right about then.
The next thing Shaundi remembered was going to the place Shaundi
used to score weed, and getting high. Shaundi wasn’t proud of
that fact, but she and Evelyn both needed it, considering how
angry they both where. That anger slowly burned inside her gut,
she clenched her fist as she stretched, Then looked around once
more. The place needed to be swept from top to bottom, in a big
way. There was dust all over the place, floor included. No
wonder she left Jake back then, sure she wasn’t always the
cleanest woman around, but she had SOME standards.
Shaundi stood, and looked down, she was in only her underwear.
She shrugged, “Fuck it.” She said aloud, and walked around the
loft apartment in just her underwear, something she hadn’t done
except for in her and Evelyn’s apartment in years. She walked to
the kitchen and opened the fridge, looking around to see if Jake
left it fully stocked or not, which he did. She smiled, Jake was
thoughtful at times, she had to admit. Or maybe it was Evelyn
who had gone out and gotten groceries… she didn’t know, she’d
ask later.
After a few minutes of pondering and looking through the
kitchen, Shaundi decided to walk into the living room, clear a
place to sit on the couch (Several guns where in the way, she
merely put them under the couch) And decided to see what was on
TV. She sat with her legs curled up, she flipped through the
channels on the dinky little TV set to find it had full cable,
even the music channels. She found one that she liked, Classic
Rock.
Shaundi set the channel, and then turned the volume up as one of
her favorite old songs came on, Dream On, by Aerosmith. She
smiled, she caught it from the beginning. She decided to make
Eggs and bacon, she hadn’t had it in a while. “Every time, I
look in the mirror, all these lines, on my face getting’
clearer.” She sang along quietly, she gradually got louder as
the song got more intense, eventually grabbing a spatula and
pretending like it was a microphone. She then, as if in a scene
from a movie, heard a key in the lock over the music. She
stopped, and looked at the door, hiding slightly behind the
counter. “Shaundi?” Came the voice of Evelyn, she walked in,
wearing new clothes and clutching a bag that looked beat up. She
walked out from behind the counter, “Hey Ev… I took the day
off.” Evelyn laughed slightly, “I see that, you just woke up
didn’t you?” Shaundi nodded, “Yeah, pretty much.”
Shaundi then looked down at the bag, “So… what’s in the bag?”
Evelyn smiled slightly, “This thing was a bitch to get out of
that store intact, f*cking Morning Star and a huge ass guy, hit
me once or twice, went flying to the back of the store, I sh!t
you not.” Shaundi’s eyes widened, “Are you ok?” Evelyn nodded,
“Maybe a cracked rib or two, but I’m fine, remember the
modifications Ultor gave us? Bones are stronger and healing is
faster, remember?” Shaundi nodded, “Yeah, I almost forgot about
that.”
Evelyn chuckled, “How could you forget about that? You bitched
for a week after you got it done.” Shaundi shrugged, “Sh!t hurt.
Now seriously, what’s in the bag?” Evelyn smiled as she set the
bag on the couch, and pulled out a pair of Jeans, a pair of
shorts, few shirts, and a few pairs of shoes. A couple of which,
where tennis shoes, the others where more dressy and heeled.
“Jesus Ev, who’d you kill to buy all this?” Shaundi asked,
picking up a pair of shoes and reading the price tag still stuck
to the sole of it.
“Some Luchadores and that bastard Karl that you put on Saints
Book.” Shaundi laughed, “I didn’t think you’d actually kill him,
serves him right, he wasn’t actually a drug dealer… he was an Ex
of mine that threatened to reveal the loft to the Press if we
didn’t pay him an outrageous amount of money.” Evelyn chuckled,
“Nice… So, like any of the clothes?” Shaundi flipped through
them, “Yeah, they’re nice, Planet Saints?” Evelyn nodded, “Yeah,
Pierce and I couldn’t get out to anywhere else, that big f*cker
attacked us at Planet Saints, we had to get back to a safe house
so we could loose them.” Shaundi nodded, “Doesn’t that make you
killing Karl to prevent him from exposing this hideout pointless
then?” Evelyn thought for a second, then said, “Not if you kill
all the morning Star after you first.” Shaundi nodded, “Well
there you go!” Shaundi saw a green tank top, and wondered. She
then flipped through the clothes and found a pair of brown
shorts, and a pair of brown boots with red laces. “Someone
cosplaying as Lara Croft this year?” Shaundi asked, holding up
the three articles of clothing. Evelyn laughed slightly, then
said, “I actually got those for you, as a joke.” Shaundi
laughed, “That’s awesome… now I’m gonna grab one of these… and
this… and I’m gonna change, be right back.” Shaundi had grabbed
a pair of Jeans, and the Lara Croft tank top, She was going to
wear her jacket from yesterday over it.
“Mmkay, I’ll finish cooking for you.” Evelyn replied, walking
into the kitchen and flipping the bacon. “Thanks Ev!” Shaundi
said, Slipping into her new jeans. Planet Saints must Pre-wash
all their stuff, they where soft and comfy, like her old pair of
jeans that she still had back in Stilwater. She wanted to grab
those someday… if they ever where able to go back there, that
is.
She finished changing, and put on her boots from yesterday as
well. “Well?” Shaundi asked, walking into the main room once
more. “Very nice!” Said Evelyn, gesturing for Shaundi to turn
around. “I like the way those jeans fit, they comfy?” Shaundi
nodded, “Yeah, they the new True fit jeans?” Evelyn nodded as
she ate a bit of bacon, “Yep, figured you’d like them, I think I
got a purple pair as well.” Shaundi smiled, “You know me too
well, Ev. So, you and Pierce strategize any more on the morning
Star?” Evelyn gestured for Shaundi to come over there, and held
up a piece of bacon. Shaundi took it from her, and reminded,
“Strategy?”
Evelyn chuckled slightly, “Well, we talked about how we’re going
to need more cribs to house the other Saints, right now they’re
all crashing at hotels, that’s not gonna last.” Evelyn then
looked down. “Ooh, that’s Pierce calling now.” She answered
with, “Sup?” Sounding a bit more like her old self. “Hey, I
think I found us a new place.” Pierce said, sounding slightly
muffled. Shaundi knitted her eyebrows, straining to hear, and
Evelyn put him on speaker, that way Shaundi could hear as well.
“Pierce, you where supposed to be looking for Loren, not going
house hunting.” There was a slight pause, and he retorted with,
“See that’s the beauty of this place! It’s owned by the Morning
star.” Evelyn looked at Shaundi, and Shaundi nodded, “All right,
I’m listening.” Evelyn said, talking into the phone. “The
Morning Star have a penthouse downtown, Where they’re throwing
some big party for their global contacts.” Evelyn smirked, and
said, “… and their real estate agent will be there?”
Shaundi could almost see the smirk fall from Pierce’s face, and
he said, “Real funny… I was gonna say we Crash the party, kill
the Morning Star, and keep the place for the Saints.” Evelyn
nodded, and said, “I’m game, so what’s the plan?” Pierce didn’t
waste any time, he said, “The Saints will be downstairs until
you can unlock the elevators for them to come up.” Evelyn looked
confused for a second, “Wait… if I can’t go up then how will I…
Oh right…Penthouse.” Pierce chuckled, “That’s right! Meet me at
the airport.”
Evelyn hung up, then looked at Shaundi, “Wanna crash a party?”
She asked, waggling her eyebrows. Shaundi chuckled, “Sure, For
Johnny.” Evelyn perked up at that, and said, “For Johnny.” They
both, as funny as it seemed, grabbed pieces of bacon and toasted
to Johnny.
***
An hour later
***
“So whaddya think?” Asked pierce to Evelyn, who was in the
helicopter with him. Shaundi was downstairs in the garage
waiting for the elevators to unlock with some Saints, Tamara and
Jane among them. After a pause, Evelyn said, “Some asshole is in
my pool.” Shaundi then said, “The crew’s ready downstairs, Say
the word and we’ll crash the party.” Shaundi ran through the
last moments of Johnny’s life, fighting to get Shaundi and
Evelyn out of there… Sacrificing himself for two of his best
friends. Shaundi remembered this, remembered what it meant, and
let her anger fill her whole body, her grip tightening on the
steering wheel, her trigger finger becoming itchy. After a brief
pause, Evelyn decided, “Let’s do it.” She then heard the sound
of wind whistling, she assumed that Evelyn had jumped out of the
chopper and was headed for the penthouse.
She turned the radio down, and asked, “So Tamara, how’ve things
with you and Pierce been?” Tamara sighed, “Girlfriend, don’t
even get me started on him, fuckin’ diva. He’s been sayin’ that
I don’t do enough for him and sh!t like that, fuckin’ trying to
make an album and hit it big, Sh!t. Meanwhile I’m stuck at home
doin’ nothing? Fuck that, and fuck him.” Shaundi blinked a few
times, “Sorry Tamara, I thought you two where going to be better
together.” She sighed, “It’s ok, I just had to get that off my
chest.”

Shaundi then heard Evelyn start talking, she held up a finger
for Tamara to hold up a second. “Touchdown, Shaundi, I’ll get
the elevator code and let you up soon.” Shaundi nodded, “Just
give the word, Ev.” Shaundi then said, “All right guys and gals,
it’s almost showtime.” Shaundi got out of the Bulldog, prompting
Tamara, Jane, and a few other saints to get out as well. The
other squad of Saints got out of their car farther in the
parking lot, and came running up to them, guns drawn. “Is it
time yet?” Asked a Saint man, and Shaundi nodded, “Just about,
we’ve just gotta wait for this Elevator, should be any time now.
I suggest you guys use this time to check your weapons and get
focused. I know you all think you’re tough, but the Morning Star
are tougher, and we will be outnumbered, you understand me?
Don’t be getting cocky up there, the last thing I need is some
dead Saints.” They all nodded, “Yes Ma’am.” Shaundi stood in
front of the squad, she had forgotten how good it felt to be a
leader, no wonder Evelyn kept doing what she was doing.
“Another thing, stick in groups of three, Tamara, Jane, you’re
with me. The rest of you, get into groups and stay with them.”
Everyone nodded, and buddied up. Shaundi then turned, and stood
near the Elevator. She straightened her belt on her purple lycra
pants, it had gone slightly askew. She straightened her jacket,
and adjusted her camisole as well, making sure her boobs
wouldn’t flop out during a firefight, which would be incredibly
bad.
A few seconds later, Shaundi heard over the comm, “Party
crashin’ time.” Shaundi smiled, and said, “We’re comin’ up, keep
the door clear.” She then looked at everyone. “Remember what I
said, stay in your groups and don’t get cocky!” They all nodded,
then the Elevator doors opened. Shaundi, followed by Tamara and
Jane stepped in the Elevators, and the other two squads of three
stepped in as well, all cocking their guns and saying how ready
they where to kick ass.
The elevator ride lasted about thirty seconds or so, and when
the door opened the other two squads rushed out, followed by
Shaundi, Tamara, and Jane. They quickly found Evelyn, who was
holding a 45 Shepherd standing by a doorway, back facing them.
“For Johnny.” Shaundi whispered as she approached Evelyn, She
wore what looked like the same pair of pants and boots she wore
when they got to Steelport, but with a different blazer, this
one was black with a purple vest and a white collared shirt
underneath it. “What’s the plan here Ev?” Shaundi inquired, to
which Evelyn quickly ordered, “We mop up the rest of these
****s!” Shaundi shrugged, “Easy enough.”
The two squads went ahead of Evelyn. Shaundi, Jane and Tamara
behind Evelyn, guns at the ready all the way around. Evelyn
walked with her gun at the ready as well, not knowing what was
around the next corner. They took a right after the staircase
up, and where met by a large number of Morning Star. “Scramble!”
Yelled Evelyn, sending the Saints, still in their groups, around
the penthouse. Tamara and Jane had become Expert shots over the
years, they all had. Shaundi loved watching the Saints work,
they where very adept at whatever it was that they where doing,
usually fighting and robbing, though.
Shaundi heard helicopter rotors outside, and She yelled, “Ev!
Guys are getting dropped off outside!” Evelyn nodded, “On it!”
She started towards the back of the penthouse, an entire wall of
windows, which where now gone, and a sea of broken glass on the
marble floor. Beyond the windows, however, was a very nice patio
area that Shaundi couldn’t wait to sunbathe in. She then noticed
the rather large pool, and helicopter pad. The guys being
dropped off where, needless to say, being dropped off at the
helicopter pad. Evelyn rushed around the pool, and started down
the steps as she fired at the men getting out of the helicopter.
Shaundi, Tamara, and Jane followed suit, finishing off the guys
for Evelyn as she reloaded. “Thanks.” Evelyn said, looking
around for something else to shoot. Evelyn then turned, to see a
squad of Morning Star charging through the penthouse. “Over
there!” She yelled, pointing her pistol that way and running
around the pool once more, then going through where a window
once was to get to them. Shaundi, Jane, and Tamara followed suit
once more, this time to see Evelyn run halfway up a staircase,
dive off of it, land on someone’s chest cavity, use them to
slide across the floor, and continue shooting at Morning Star
hoes.
In response to Evelyn’s latest display of athleticism, Jane
said, “Da*n Shaundi, you know you’re a lucky woman, right?”
Shaundi chuckled slightly, “Yeah, I know I am.” After a few more
minutes of fighting, they swept the place once more, declaring
it clear. Shaundi was about to congratulate the crew on another
job well done, when she heard chatter over the radio about the
place being rigged to blow. Evelyn had the most perfect timing
ever. “Give me an update Shaundi.” Evelyn ordered, standing
there with her 45 Shepherd, elbow bent to where the gun was by
her face. “Good news: We’ve cleared them out. Bad news: The boys
are sayin’ this place is rigged to blow.” Evelyn paused for a
second, then in a tone dripping with sarcasm, she replied,
“Isn’t that fun…” Shaundi heard helicopter rotors once more, and
she whipped her head around to see a Morning Star goon flying
off. “Where’s that guy in the helicopter going?” Shaundi
inquired, pointing that way. Evelyn looked as well, and took off
towards the second helicopter as she said, “I’ll ask him how to
disarm this thing.” Shaundi then hollered, “Then try not to kill
him!”
Evelyn nodded, and shallow dove across the pool, surfacing a
mere foot from the stairs on the other end of the pool, running
out, and kept running until she reached the second helicopter.
She then ripped the door open, and got in, Shaundi watched as
Evelyn took off after the chopper with the Morning Star
lieutenant in it.
“Go get ‘em, girl.” Said Shaundi under her breath as she turned
to the remaining Saints, they’d only lost two this time, which
Shaundi had to consider a miracle, they usually lost way more
than that. “Ok, so where is this bomb?” Shaundi said over the
comm system, then one of the Saints, Alex, Said, “It’s up here
on the roof, it’s embedded in the concrete and it’s likely got
other charges it’s connected to through the crib.”
Shaundi nodded, “Ok Alex, I’ll be there in a sec.” She looked at
Tamara and Jane, “Very nice job here ladies, let’s get our
wounded and dead, round them up and get the wounded treated, you
know what to do with the dead.” Jane nodded, “It’ll get done, go
take care of the bomb.”
Shaundi nodded, and said, “Thanks Jane.” She then trotted
upstairs, to the balcony, then up another staircase up to the
roof. She saw Alex kneeling in the middle of the roof, his
overlong hair tied back in a loose ponytail with a few strands
hanging out in his face. “So what kind of bomb is it?” Shaundi
asked, kneeling next to him. “There are-” But Evelyn interrupted
over the comm system, and Alex paused to listen. “How’s the
cleanup going Shaundi?” Asked Evelyn, obviously joking. “What do
I look like, the da*n maid?” Shaundi inquired, shooting Evelyn a
dirty look through the comm. Alex chuckled slightly, Shaundi
smacked the back of his head and shot him a look that said,
“Shut it!” He did so, but still chuckled silently. “You’d look
cute in the outfit.” Evelyn quipped, and Shaundi retorted,
“We’re sitting on a bomb here and you’re cracking jokes?” Evelyn
ignored the question (Rhetorical as it may have been) and said,
“Pierce would agree with me.”
Shaundi’s jaw dropped, no she did not! Shaundi stayed quiet this
time, and turned to Alex. “You where saying?” “Uum.. Anyways so
there are four wires, red, blue, green and black. If we cut the
wrong one, the bomb will explode. If we cut the right one, well,
the bomb diffuses, we all knew that one… oh, and there’s a
timer… We’ve got roughly four minutes.” Shaundi winced, She
grabbed the comm link, and pressed the button that went to all
channels. “This is Shaundi, we need everyone to evacuate the
penthouse now, get out of here and keep going until we say
otherwise, we’ve got a bomb up here and we don’t know if we can
diffuse it in time. You’ve got four minutes.” The crew, almost
as one, said more calmly than expected, “Roger that.” and
Shaundi heard elevator dings and feet shuffling down below.
She looked to Alex, and said, “Wow, I totally didn’t think that
would work.” About two minutes later, Shaundi hadn’t heard
anything from Evelyn. She tried her on the comm link, but she
must have been out of range. “Dammit.” Shaundi then pulled out
her cell phone and called Evelyn. “These things are on a coded
timer and the clock is ticking! You got him yet?!” Evelyn didn’t
reply for a minute, and Shaundi heard gunfire in the background,
Evelyn was definitely in a firefight with some Morning Star to
get to the Lieutenant.
Several of the gunshots sounded close, like Evelyn was firing
them. “Everyone out of my way!” Screamed Evelyn, not to Shaundi,
likely to the Morning Star in between her and the man with the
right wire to cut. “Once I catch him, you’ll get your codes.”
Evelyn replied, still fighting with the Morning Star.
“Nope, no codes, Just four wires, Red, green, blue, and black.”
Evelyn clicked her tongue, “Well that’s original.” Shaundi
smirked, she did love Evelyn’s sense of humor. “Bet you 50 bucks
it’s the Blue wire.” Shaundi said, pulling a 50 out of her
jacket. Alex laughed, “No, it’s red, and I take your bet.” He
shook her hand, and looked at the timer. It began to tick down
from 60 Seconds, and Alex said, “It’s been a pleasure doing
business with you, Shaundi.” Shaundi nodded, she realized that
in 53 seconds, if they didn’t get the right wire, this bomb
would explode in her face, disintegrating her and the building
with it. “Agreed, you fought bravely, Hope to see you on the
other side.” Alex nodded, and smiled wryly.
“You know Shaundi, I always thought you where-” but Evelyn cut
them off over the phone, “Red, Shaundi!” Evelyn yelled, Alex
could hear Evelyn from where he was sitting, and said, “Cha
ching!” As he cut the red wire, the display on the bomb went
still, then blinked to black. “Da*n- I lost the bet.” Shaundi
could hear a chuckle from the other end, and Evelyn then asked,
“How much did you loose?” Shaundi sighed, “50 bucks.” Evelyn
chuckled, “That’s not too bad. Anyways, I’ll meet you at there
in 15, call the Saints back for the cleanup, ok?” Shaundi stood,
and said, “Right on, see you soon Ev.” “Love you, Shaundi.”
Shaundi blushed slightly, “Love you too, Ev.”
Alex stood as well, and blushed slightly. “I almost forgot you
where with the boss..” Shaundi realized what he had been about
to say before Evelyn told them the wire color, and she blushed.
“Oh god… No, Alex, that would never work between us, we have a
soldier/CO relationship, that’s it.”
Alex blushed slightly more, “Sorry… Well, we where about to die,
so it seemed like a good idea at the time.” Shaundi rolled her
eyes, and punched Alex on the shoulder, a bit harder than
playfully, but still enough to pass as playful. &ldquo****.” She
sad as she walked downstairs, she then called on all channels
once more, “It’s Shaundi, The Penthouse is clear, come back for
the cleanup.” This time there was much more resistance, such as,
“Aaw, really?” and groans, then “Ok fine.”
__
And we're back on track. sorry about that!

This actually has nothing to do with Shaundi's Side, but I
thought i'd bump the thread/kick off 2012 with this. :p

By the way :D
______
The Belgian Problem
They where back at the penthouse within the hour, as soon as
they walked in Evelyn said, “Shaundi, come with me for a sec.”
Shaundi nodded, “Ok, everything all right?” Evelyn just kept
walking to their bedroom, and opened the door, gesturing for
Shaundi to walk in. She did so and began to ask Evelyn what it
was. Evelyn didn’t let her even begin to speak, she pushed
Shaundi onto the bed, and straddled her, kissing her
passionately. Evelyn wrapped an arm under Shaundi’s lower back,
holding her close, laying down on top of her. Shaundi was taken
aback, and when Evelyn finally came up for air so to speak,
Shaundi asked, “Ev, what is it?” A smile on her face.
Evelyn then smiled too, and said, “I’m proud of you, you where
brave today.” Evelyn started to kiss her again, but Shaundi sat
up slightly, supporting her weight on her elbows. “And we’re
going to be even braver later tonight, we’re not out of the
woods yet, Ev.” Evelyn nodded, “Yeah, I know. Can’t I just kiss
my girl and say, “go team?” Shaundi chuckled slightly, “I guess,
let’s save the rest of the ‘go teams” for tonight, after we make
Loren pay.” Evelyn nodded, and said, “I think that’ll work just
fine…” She then smiled, kissed Shaundi once more, then stood and
took off her jacket, which had a large dried blood stain on it.
She stripped off the turtle neck as well, then her bra. “Girls
need some air?” Shaundi joked, running her fingers through her
hair and taking the tie out of it, letting her brown wavy hair
flow down past her shoulders.
Evelyn chuckled as she walked over to the dresser, then looked
out the wall of windows and yelped, covering her boobs with her
arms. “Shit, get the shades!” Shaundi whipped her head around,
to see several male Saints gathered around their windows. “Oh
for fuck’s sake.” Shaundi muttered as she stood, grabbed her
pistol, and pointed it at them. “Back off!” She yelled, they
either heard the fire in her voice, or they just saw the gun,
but they all ran off. She then shut all the shades, and tossed
the gun onto the bed once more. “Jesus, the troubles with being
a woman in this world.” Said Evelyn, pulling on a new bra and
then walking over to the closet, finding her Purple Vixen corset
and leather trench coat to go on over it. Evelyn pulled the pins
out of her hair, then pulled her hair up into a high ponytail,
letting her hair loosely brush the collar of her jacket.
“You look beautiful.” Shaundi said, she was now laid back on the
bed once more, watching Evelyn get dressed. As Evelyn walked
towards her, she smiled, “Thanks Shaundi, you don’t look too bad
yourself. How’d those bullet fragments heal?” Shaundi ran a hand
over the left side of her face, it felt smooth as it did that
morning, maybe a bit of blood on it but other than that, it
seemed fine. She then sat up, and pulled her jacket off,
examining her left bicep. “They already healed, I guess they
where really small, usually my wounds don’t heal that fast.”
Evelyn nodded, “Yeah, I’ve noticed the same thing with mine too…
Maybe Ultor’s upgrades… well, upgraded?” Shaundi shrugged, “No
complaints here.” Evelyn chuckled slightly, “I agree, I hate
getting hurt.” She then continued, “Although, I don’t think the
upgrades cover heartbreak… I can’t loose you again Shaundi.”
Shaundi felt a stab of pain in her heart, she remembered all the
nights she spent crying, screaming, and punching things that
shouldn’t be punched because of Evelyn and her breaking up. Just
the memory of those nights made her want to cry all over again.
“I don’t either, Ev, I love you.” Shaundi’s voice broke
slightly, Shaundi sat her hand on Evelyn’s, and Evelyn hugged
her, then whispered in her ear, “Don’t worry Shaundi, nothing
like that is ever going to happen again.”
***
Half an hour later
***
Shaundi sat in front of her vanity, touching up her makeup,
which had smeared slightly from crying. “I’m going to go with a
few of the Saints on an ammo run, when we get back, we’re gonna
get that Son of a bitch, ok?” Shaundi’s blood boiled, she
finished her makeup, and she set down her eyeliner. “Yeah, I’ll
be getting ready with Pierce and the boys.” Evelyn smiled, and
came up behind Shaundi, she ran her fingers through Shaundi’s
hair, which was still down. “I’ll see you later Shaundi, I love
you.” Evelyn punctuated her sentence with a kiss to Shaundi’s
cheek, and Evelyn proceeded to walk out the door, pulling on her
fingerless gloves as she went. Shaundi sighed, “I love you too.”
She smiled, Evelyn was an awesome woman, anyone, man or woman,
was lucky to have her. Although, if Shaundi was a man, DAMN
she’d still be afraid of Evelyn at times, the bitch can be
scary, no matter how you slice it. Shaundi then remembered what
they where about to go do, and she tied her hair back quickly,
making sure it was all up, and of course, her bangs fell before
she was done. She merely brushed them out of her way, and walked
out of the room as well. She looked around, stripper, stripper,
saint, saint, Stripper… or is that a Saint? Whatever, “Yo, where
the fuck is Pierce?” Shaundi yelled, not wanting to search the
whole place to find him. “Sup?” Shaundi heard him call, he was
directly across from Shaundi and Evelyn’s room, the master
bedroom, she didn’t see him initially because he was getting a
lap dance from a redheaded stripper.
It irritated Shaundi to no end that Pierce could be so relaxed,
but then again, Shaundi had just nearly had Sex with Evelyn, so
she couldn’t talk. “Sup Girl?” Pierce asked, motioning for her
to take a seat next to him. Shaundi looked at the stripper, and
said, “Honey, give the man and I five minutes, mmkay? You’ll get
your tip, don’t worry.” The woman nodded, then trotted away,
making her tits bounce crazily. “Slut.” Shaundi muttered under
her breath as she sat down, and Pierce punched her on the arm
slightly, “Yo, be nice to the hos.” Shaundi sighed, “And why
should I be nice to the hos?” “Because they’re like you where a
few years back, only you did it for free.” Shaundi’s gaze went
steely, she turned her head towards Pierce, and asked, “What?”
Venom dripping from every word.
Pierce then chuckled, “I’m just fuckin’ with ya girl, relax.”
Shaundi rolled her eyes, “Look, what I came over to talk to you
about was if we’re ready for this.” Pierce sat up slightly,
“Ready for what? Loren?” He paused, and Shaundi nodded, maybe a
bit too exaggeratedly. “Just makin’ sure, gosh.” Shaundi then
held up her hands in a, “Yes but?” Gesture, and Pierce
continued, “Ev is furious about what happened to Gat, and I know
you are too, and believe me, I am as well… But nobody can morn
one person forever.” Shaundi sighed. “No, but I can kill some
fuckers to make me feel better.”
Just then Pierce’s cell phone rang. He answered it, after a few
seconds he exhaled, “Won’t be easy. The whole tower’s gotta be
crawling with Morning Star.” Shaundi knew immediately what he
was talking about, Evelyn was on the way back with the guns, and
they where fixing to get that mother fucker and show him who the
Saints are, who Johnny was, and who really runs this town.
“True, so what’s the plan?” He said after another minute, then
another minute passed, “Makes Sense.” Pierce then hung up the
phone, and said, “Ev should be callin’ you about no-” and
Shaundi’s phone rang, the song “I don’t wanna miss a thing” by
Aerosmith was her ringtone for Evelyn, and Shaundi picked it up
quickly, trying not to let Pierce hear enough of the song to
identify it. “Shaundi, it’s time.” Came Evelyn’s cool voice from
the other end of the phone, she sounded like she was in a car or
truck, likely truck. “Just tell me where to be.” Shaundi already
knew though, Evelyn was coming back to the penthouse, they where
gearing up, and they where going after that mother fucker…
Finally. “The Penthouse, be ready.” Shaundi then let her anger
towards Loren fill her slightly, and she promised in a dark,
slightly raspy tone, “I’m gonna kill that son of a bitch.”
Evelyn reassured, “Don’t worry, he won’t get away this time.”
Shaundi knew Evelyn was trying to calm her down, but it only
fueled her fire, “You bet your ass he won’t.” Shaundi hung up
the phone, and put it in her pocket. She stood, and nodded to
Pierce, who also nodded, and retreated behind the bar, and was
messing with something for a few minutes. “Pierce, now’s not the
time for a cocktail.“ Shaundi said, leaning against the bar. He
emerged with two drinks, and said, “Maybe not, but it’s the
perfect time for a toast.“ Shaundi thought for a second, then
shrugged, “What the hell. “ and took one of the glasses. “To
Johnny.“ Said Pierce as he raised his glass, Shaundi smiled
slightly and said, “To Johnny.“ They touched their glasses
together, then drank, it burned on the way down, most likely
vodka. A few minutes later, Evelyn came up in the elevator,
wielding a metal box of Guns, Tamara and Jane flanking either
side holding equally large boxes of guns. Shaundi nodded at all
of them, and they went upstairs, setting the boxes down on
various tables and chairs in the bar area.
Evelyn said, “Let the games begin.” as she opened the first box,
cuing the field day that they all had getting the guns they
wanted. A trigger happy Saint, Ty, as Shaundi thought his name
was, walked in and asked, “You started the party without me?”
Drawing his own guns, a pair of gold plated GDHC.50’s. He wore
a baggy pair of black shorts, and was shirtless as usual. His
muscular upper body was covered in tattoos, one of them, the
largest one over his chest, was a brotherhood tribal tattoo that
covered, literally, his whole upper body in the front. He had a
bit of everything sleeve on his right arm, then on his left he
had a cursive tattoo that read, “RBZ 4 Life” Lastly, he had on a
pair of black and white heydey super shifts, rather like the
ones that the Saints had made, but there wasn’t any purple on
this pair. His hair was iridescent purple and black, in thin
dread locks, she remembered the name of it being “Rasta” “Glad
you could Join us, Ty.” Said Evelyn, grabbing a .45 Shepherd and
jacking a clip into it, cocking the slide back. She still wore
her purple Vixen corset and coat, combat pants, and boots.
Shaundi picked up both a .45 Shepherd and a KA-1 Kobra, feeling
the weight of both in her hands. She leveled both at the same
time, the KA-1 was easier to hold out in front of her without
having to lean back, she put the 45. Shepherd back in the box,
and grabbed a couple clips for the KA-1 Kobra, holstering it and
filing the clips away in her jacket.
Ty then asked, “Yo, got any grenades up in there?” Gesturing to
the boxes of guns. “Yeah, third box.” Evelyn said, gesturing to
one as she opened a switchblade, smiled, and then closed it once
more and put it under a strap on her pants, grabbing another
knife and putting it in the Sheath on her pants. “Let there be
‘nades!” Said Ty, half jokingly, and he dropped a few on the
table. Shaundi, Evelyn, and Pierce grabbed for them, all getting
one. The fourth one, however, was Ty’s. He grabbed it as Pierce
reached for it, beating Pierce to it by a good second or two.
Pierce then said, “I got something special behind the counter,
hold up.” Pierce then walked behind the bar, and emerged with a
fully upgraded K-8 Krukov, and set it on the counter. Shaundi
grabbed it and shouldered it, staring down it’s sights, she
could almost see Loren in them. “I think that’s a little big for
you.” Said Pierce, grabbing the gun from her once more. Shaundi
grimaced, and leaned over the counter and threatened, “Gimme the
goddamn gun Pierce!” Snatching it from him so hard that he
stumbled slightly. “Ok…” Pierce said as Shaundi took a seat at
the bar once more, and cocked the gun, making sure it was
loaded.
Evelyn smirked, then finished loading her rifle, and she said,
“All right, let’s give that mother fucker what’s coming to him.”
Evelyn began walking to the Elevator, Pierce and Shaundi fell in
step with her, Shaundi on her left, Pierce on her right. Shaundi
had the big ass gun slung over her shoulder, it was heavy, but
she could handle it, Johnny would be proud of her.
They stepped into the Elevator, and Evelyn pointed at the other
saints, “Hold back with the bomb, the cargo bay is going to be
full of Morning Star, don’t go in till we give you the signal.”
Ty, who was walking past with one of his guns in hand, cleaning
it before they went out, nodded and said, “Will do, Boss.” The
doors shut, and within seconds they where in the main lobby to
the penthouse. As they exited, Evelyn asked, “Shaundi, are you
going to be ok coming along with us?” Shaundi snorted slightly,
then said, “Don’t worry about me, I need this.” She paused for a
second, then thought of Loren… holding a machine gun, firing at
Johnny while leaned over the comm unit, talking to Shaundi on
the plane. She imagined the bullets ripping through Johnny to
hit the comm unit, and Johnny’s last breaths. She shook off the
vivid painting of Johnny Gat’s last moments, and said, “Loren
has to pay for what he did, and I wanna be there when he gets
what he deserves.”
Evelyn nodded, then walked over to Shaundi and kissed her,
“You’ll be the one to make him pay, I’ll make sure of it.”
Shaundi nodded, “Thank you.” Pierce then chimed in, “No worries
girl, We’re not stopping with Loren. We’re taking down his whole
fuckin’ syndicate.” Shaundi liked the idea, then said, “I think
we’re going to have to kill more than one guy to do that.”
Evelyn, as she got in the Royal Purple Infuego that sat curb
side, “Remember that bomb that we stole? There you go.”
Shaundi smiled, she couldn’t wait to see that fucking tower
explode to high. Fucking. Hell. She hoped Viola and Kiki, the
stupid twin whores that likely helped kill Johnny… Laying there,
gasping for breath, only to be finished off with Loren and the
whores at his side. One of the whores likely patching one of the
wounds he’d sustained, the other, handing him a fresh clip that
he loaded into his gun. “Just Business, Mister Gat.” He taunted
as he leveled the pistol and pulled the trigger. Shaundi shook
off the thought once more, she hoped the whores where at the
Syndicate tower, and she hoped she got to keep her promise to
Viola, by shoving the muzzle of her KA-1 Kobra down her throat
and pulling the trigger.
“So where’s Loren gonna be?” Pierce asked, getting into the back
seat behind Evelyn. Evelyn answered as Shaundi got in the
passenger seat next to Evelyn, “He’ll be on the top floor, I
think it’s in the criminal mastermind rulebook or something.”
Pierce then asked, “You really think he’ll be that cliché?” Oh
enough! “Doesn’t matter.” Shaundi said, then after a pause,
“We’re Killing everyone in there.”
Shaundi checked her gun, and laid it across her lap, her
thoughts wandered, from how she was going to kill Loren, to how
many Morning Star whores would be crawling around that place,
and back to how she was going to kill Loren, then she had a
thought: What if her gun jammed? Shaundi checked the gun once
more, and Pierce piped in, “How many times you gonna check that
gun?” Shaundi rolled her eyes, “How long is it gonna take us to
get there?” She shot back, and Pierce then snorted, “I was just
askin’, sheesh.” Evelyn then chimed in, “Hey, I’ll put you both
in a time out, stop it.”
Pierce shook his head, chuckling, and looked out the window at
the passing city. Oh Pierce, he was such a man-child sometimes.
Maybe that’s why she bonded with him so well, he could be
serious when he needed to be, but other times, oh dear lord he
was immature as a middle school student. Shaundi watched Evelyn
as she drove, her eyes where focused on the road, scanning every
little detail for any signs of Morning Star.
A few minutes of silence passed, and Pierce said, “Yo, we need
some driving music.” Evelyn agreed, “As long as it’s good.”
Pierce exclaimed, “Yes!” Then leaned up and turned on the car
stereo, he flipped through the channels until he found KRHYME,
which was starting the song, “Power” By Kanye West. Shaundi
rolled her eyes, “Really Pierce?” She asked, then smiled
slightly as he turned it up.

DIR By: Amaris

---------------------------------------------------------
Pierce started rapping along to the opening Lyrics, “Screams the
name, Got a nice ring to it, Get set, every superhero need his
theme music.” Once it got to the part with, “No one man should
have all that power,” Evelyn joined in, and Shaundi couldn’t
help it, she joined in as well, and they where all rapping to
“Power” as they drove.
Within a few minutes, they’d all messed up the lyrics multiple
times, every mess up getting an, “Aaw, I always fuck up that
line.” or, “Damn it, I forgot that one.” From Shaundi or Evelyn.
Pierce just went with it, being an up and coming rapper himself.
Once the song ended, they where all laughing, Shaundi turned in
her seat and leaned towards Pierce. “Thanks.” She said, a small
smile still on her face.
“That’s the Shaundi I like to see, I knew that’d bring her out.”
Shaundi smirked, “Shut up.” She then turned back in her seat,
and watched the road, Evelyn was still smiling slightly,
remembering where they where going her smile gradually faded.
Shaundi laid her arm on the console, and Evelyn grabbed
Shaundi’s hand, Intertwining their fingers, the other hand still
on the wheel.
Evelyn took a sharp turn, and said, “We’re coming up on the
syndicate tower’s garage, you guys ready?” Evelyn let go of
Shaundi’s hand, and Shaundi grabbed her gun, Shouldered it, and
said, “Let’s get these assholes.” Pierce nodded, “Let’s get
‘em.” Evelyn then sped up, and bust through a gate, then
drifting through an opening and kept going till she got up the
ramp, and into the syndicate garage. They came to a halt, to see
the room was empty for a second. “This seems too-” Shaundi
started, then a sea of guards in Red and black rushed out form
every door they saw, all firing at the car.
Shaundi leaned out of the window, which was now shot out, and
fired on a line of Morning Star goons. The bullets all hit their
marks, making the line of Syndicate fall. Evelyn braked the car,
and Shaundi leaned back into the car, popped open the door, and
jumped out. Evelyn followed suit, and went after some Morning
Star in the catwalks. Shaundi covered her, a whore ran up behind
Evelyn, and Shaundi put one through the back of her knee. The
woman cried out in pain and collapsed, holding her knee. Shaundi
stalked over to her, firing at a morning star man who went to
assist the woman. “Fucking saint…” Muttered the woman through
clenched teeth, and Shaundi didn’t even bother regarding her,
she merely fired through her skull, sending brains all over the
concrete.
“I wonder if all packages are this hard to deliver!” Quipped
Pierce, pulling a morning star whore over his shoulder and
slamming her into the ground, kicking her in the neck as the
momentum carried her upper body to a sitting position. In a tone
of mock humor, Shaundi quipped, “Ha. Ha. Can we just shoot
them?” Evelyn backed towards the two of them, and all three
stood back to back firing on syndicate who rushed at them.
Shaundi saw a red dot trace up Pierce’s leg, and Shaundi quickly
followed the dot to it’s origin. A bald white man wearing a red
trench coat, goggles, and military-type fatigue pants stood on a
catwalk above, leaned over the railing with a sniper rifle. “Not
this saint, you fucker.” Shaundi muttered, leveling her machine
gun and firing. She watched the blood spatter fly out of his
head, then noted the force with which his head snapped back. She
liked this gun, it was powerful, but the Recoil was virtually
non-existant. Shaundi guessed counter weights.
After a few more minutes of firing on Syndicate, they broke
their triangle and walked about the underground garage, firing
on various syndicate that tried hiding behind trucks. “Uuh….
Looks like that big guy doesn’t want us down here.” Shaundi’s
head whipped around, to see a tall, muscular man, like the one
that wielded the mini-gun at powder, but without the mini-gun
and armor… he was also a lot faster. “Oh shit.” Shaundi
muttered, leveling her gun and firing. He kept coming, despite
Shaundi watching a bullet fly into his eye, this only enraged
him more and made him charge at her. “Fuck!” Shaundi yelled,
turning and trying to run. She only managed to get a few steps
away before she felt an impact equal to that of a semi truck
slamming into her back.
Shaundi squeezed her eyes shut in pain, and felt the ground
leave from under her feet. She counted how long before she
collided with the ground once more… 4...5...6... SLAM! Only it
wasn’t the concrete floor she slammed into, it was a windshield,
and Shaundi half hoped to go through it and hit the back seat.
No, she wasn’t that lucky, the windshield caught her, sending
shards of glass through her cheek, neck, chest, and arms. “Son
of a bitch that stings… owww…. Shit that hurts.” Shaundi
muttered, pulling herself out of the windshield and laying
across the hood of the Justice she had nearly gone through.
“SHAUNDI!” Screamed Evelyn, and Shaundi heard intense gunfire
behind her. Shaundi stirred, rolling over and looking behind
her. Evelyn was holding her own against the brute, firing with
intensity at his face. He dropped to the ground, breathing
heavily. Evelyn drew her pistol, backhanded the brute so hard he
fell backwards, then jumped on his chest. She fired nearly the
whole clip into his head, making it explode. Evelyn wiped the
blood and brain matter off her face, then began to run towards
Shaundi.
“Fuck Shaundi, you ok?” Evelyn inquired. A concerned tone
gripping her voice as she wrapped Shaundi in her arms and pulled
her off the hood of the car, setting her down next to it.
Shaundi nodded, “I’m fine.. Just a little dazed.” She answered
dreamily, her mind wandering to when she got shot by the
brotherhood, then back further to waking up in the hospital as a
teenager, she hadn’t remembered anything from the past two
weeks, but apparently she’d been partying a lot. She was in a
car… her friend was driving apparently, and it got slammed into
by an 18 wheeler, sending the car flying off the winding road in
the mountains they where on.
Evelyn shook her from her thoughts, “Shaundi?” She inquired, a
concerned edge in her voice. “I’m here.” She reassured, shaking
her head slightly. Pierce walked up and asked, “Yo Girl, you
gonna be ok?” He knelt down next to Evelyn. Shaundi nodded, “I’m
fine guys, help me up.” Pierce stood and nodded, holding out a
hand. Shaundi took it, and he hoisted her up, holding onto her
for her to regain her balance.
Shaundi stood for a moment, regaining her balance, and Evelyn
stood by her side, as well as Pierce. “Thanks guys, I think I’m
good.” Shaundi then took a few steps, she was a bit wobbly, but
all right. Shaundi knelt down and grabbed her rifle, then slung
it over her shoulder and looked over at Evelyn. She smiled, then
Pierce interrupted, “Here’s our delivery now.” Shaundi turned,
to see the bomb strapped to a large flatbed truck pull in the
garage and to a stop. Ty popped out of the truck, one of his
twin GDHC. 50’s raised by his head. “Special Delivery.” He
remarked, walking past Shaundi and quipping, “The fuck happened
to you?” As Evelyn walked past him she bumped into Ty and
defended, “That thing happened to her, back off.” As she said
this, she pointed at the headless brute, now laying in a pool of
blood.
“Jesus, you’re still standing?” inquired Ty, doing a double take
and backing up a step or so. “Don’t fuck with me.” Shaundi
jokingly threatened, a small smile on her face. Evelyn smirked
as she walked over to the bomb and armed it. Pierce observed,
“Bomb’s armed and the clock’s ticking.” Shaundi thought for a
second, why didn’t they wait to do that until AFTER they killed
Phillipe? “Why didn’t we wait to do that till after we kill
Phillipe?” Pierce answered, “That’s…. a really good question,
we should move.” Evelyn shrugged in a, “Oh well.” manner as she
walked over to Shaundi and Ty, “You gonna be Ok Shaundi?” She
inquired, taking in the already healing gash on her cheek.
“I’m fine, Ev. let’s go kill this fucker.” Evelyn nodded,
“That’s my girl.” All four saints made their way to the
elevator, and stepped inside. Shaundi leaned against the back
wall, next to Pierce and Ty. Evelyn pressed the button for the
top floor, and the doors shut. There was a whirring as the
Elevator sped up towards Phillipe’s office, then suddenly the
elevator stopped, knocking the saints off balance. “What did you
do?” Shaundi spat, and Pierce defended quickly, “I didn’t touch
anything.”
Suddenly the doors opened, and Evelyn gestured for them to go
ahead and move out. Shaundi shouldered her rifle and took
Evelyn’s right flank, moving down the hallway littered with
pieces of scaffolding. Pierce was on her left, and Ty headed up
the rear, walking backwards and looking around making sure no
Syndicate popped out of nowhere. “Did you really expect to waltz
up to my office when I control the whole building?” Inquired the
thick accented voice of Phillipe Loren. “God I hate him.” Evelyn
quipped, suddenly very alert as gunfire rang out down the hall.
Evelyn fired, nailing three guys in the face… Damn, she was
good. Shaundi fired at several syndicate guards that came
through the door, nailing several in the chest.

---------------------------------------------------------
Evelyn led them into the next room, it was dimly lit with a hue
of red, the floors where mesh and where several levels up. There
was a bunch of machinery and… where those pods? Upon close
observation, Shaundi realized that the pods had large silouettes
in them, where those people?!?
Shaundi was snapped out of her thoughts by Evelyn pulling her
down to the ground, Shaundi heard a bullet whiz past her and
nodded a thanks to Evelyn. Evelyn knelt down, and fired on a
Morning Star sniper, nailing him in the face. “What the fuck is
this room?” Shaundi inquired, firing at a syndicate whore that
came running at her. “Are those people in there?” Evelyn pulled
her along, going down a set of stairs and down a walkway, up
another flight of stairs that led to, drum roll please, yet
another flight of stairs.
“They look like those big guys we keep seein’, clones maybe?”
Pierce fired on a Morning Star sniper who tried to line up a
shot on Evelyn, killing the sniper. “What should we call these
guys?” Shaundi replied, “Who cares? They’re blowing up with the
rest of this place.” Pierce continued, “How about bricks? They
hit like they’re made of the stuff.” Shaundi rolled her eyes,
“Bricks? Really?” By now they where up the next flight of
stairs, behind cover, and firing at syndicate guards running
around the next platform. “Alright, what would you call them?”
Shaundi fired on a syndicate whore that ran at Evelyn from the
side, nailing her in the ribcage and chest.
“John.” Shaundi smarted, ejecting the ammo box from her rifle
and grabbing another, loading it in and locking it in place. She
then pulled back the bolt, and Pierce retorted, “You ain’t
getting’ how this works are you?” Shaundi smirked, and when she
leaned out of cover her heart dropped. A brute ran at them, but
this one was different. He was in what looked like heat
resistant gear, and wore a welder’s mask. He was holding,
instead of a mini-gun, something that looked like a
flamethrower. “Oh shit.” Shaundi muttered, standing up and
firing at the brute. The shots kept bouncing off of him, like
the other brutes. “Shit, shit, shit.” Evelyn muttered, standing
and firing on the brute as well, who was now charging at them.
Evelyn stood next to Shaundi, pushing her back towards the
staircase as the brute stopped and leveled the flamethrower.
“Go!” Evelyn screamed, pushing her back more. The end of the
flamethrower ignited, sending a jet of flame towards the two of
them. Evelyn grabbed Shaundi’s arm and pushed her towards the
railing, Shaundi got the message loud and clear: Jump!
Shaundi and Evelyn both hopped over the railing, and both rolled
the landing down below. Pierce stood behind the brute, firing at
the fuel tanks on the brute’s back. “The tanks!” Shaundi yelled,
leveling her gun and firing through the mesh flooring at the
Brute. Several holes popped up in the brute’s fuel tanks,
sending jets of flame out of the tanks. Evelyn bit the pin off
of a grenade as the Brute came down the set of stairs that led
to the floor that they where on. “Eat this, fucker.” Evelyn
muttered as she tossed the grenade, it landed on one of the last
steps, and Evelyn backed up, gun still raised. Shaundi backed up
as well, and the brute stepped down onto the stair that the
grenade set on.
The brute’s foot twisted as it landed on the grenade, making the
brute topple over just as the grenade exploded, making the fuel
tanks on it’s back explode as well, sending the body flying.
“Well there you go.” Shaundi commented, slapping Evelyn a high
five. Pierce, Evelyn, Shaundi, and lastly Ty, went up the last
flight of stairs to be greeted by a group of Morning star. “Oh
come on.” Evelyn muttered, leveling her rifle and firing on
them, getting nothing but head shots. “Damn, stay on her good
side.” muttered Ty under his breath.
“Damn straight.” Evelyn said as she smirked, then she ordered,
“Ty, I need someone to guard the bomb and make sure no morning
star disarm it, think you can handle that?” Ty frowned, then
said, “yeah ok, Catch ya later.” He waved slightly as he turned
and went back the way they came, towards a staircase that would
lead him back down to the garage. “What’d you do that for?”
Inquired Pierce, who looked slightly disappointed. “I promised
Shaundi that she could take out Loren, Ty would go mental on
Loren and make me a liar.” Pierce nodded, “Makes sense, did you
guys see him back there?” Shaundi shook her head, she hadn’t
seen much of Ty at all, where’d he go? As if Pierce had read her
mind, Pierce answered, “He was goin’ around the tanks killing
the bricks that weren’t otta their pods yet, smart thinking’ if
you ask me. He went mental on some Morning Star bitch too, it
was scary.”
Evelyn smirked at Pierce’s animated gestures as he explained how
violent Ty was, then said, “Come on, we’ve still got Loren to
take care of.” Pierce nodded, “Gotcha.” Evelyn’s smirk faded,
and she leveled her rifle, stalking around the corner. Pierce
followed next to her, and Shaundi headed up the rear, walking
backwards to make sure no morning star snuck up on them.
Suddenly, Shaundi bumped into Evelyn, who was busy staring at
something. “What the hell is all this?” Shaundi turned, to see a
shit ton of machinery, wires, and computer screens, all hooked
up to… a brute? Slowly, the brute looked up at them, and said in
a low, gravely voice that had a Russian accent, “Phillipe likes
his things custom made. And for his brutes, I am the master
pattern, you see.” Pierce inquired, “Why are you still strung up
if they already cloned yo ass?” “The copies are flawed, they
have my brawn but not my brain. I can help you.”
How long had he been strung up here? If it was too long, all
that muscle definition might be just that, muscle definition. He
was probably too weak to do anything useful. “Last time a big
naked dude said he could help me, it did not end well.” Pierce
noted, and Shaundi resisted the urge to smirk. “What can he do
anyway? Those wires and shit are probably keeping him alive.”
The brute looked at Shaundi, and said, “I am still strong enough
to Kill Phillipe.” Evelyn looked at the two of them, then
nodded. All three of them open fired on the machinery, frying it
completely. The brute broke free from the bonds, and fell to the
floor, landing in a crouch.
He stood slowly, stretching slightly and cracking his neck. “You
want some clothes, man?” Inquired Pierce, now that he mentioned
it, the brute was butt. Ass. Naked, and his giant schlong was
swinging around between his legs. “No Time.” He answered,
stalking forward, leading the way. Evelyn and Shaundi followed,
and pierce muttered, “man like I said, last time a big naked
dude…” Shaundi smiled slightly, she, despite all the hard times
as of late, Loved the saints. And it wasn’t just because of
Evelyn, she still loved the power behind the whole idea, and
judging by their empire, they had it made big. Or at least did…
damn syndicate.
“This Elevator will take us to the offices.” Said the brute,
gesturing to the elevator. Evelyn pressed the up button, and the
doors slid open. “After you, Big guy.” She said, taking a step
to the side. The brute nodded, then got in the Elevator. Shaundi
and Evelyn followed, and Pierce walked in last. The Elevator
took them up to the office floors, and then opened a few seconds
later. The doors opened, and They all exited. “Follow me to
Phillipe’s office.” Ordered the brute, Charging ahead of them
and settling into a jog. “Seriously man, if you want I can find
you like a curtain or something… you know.” The brute kept
going, and merely answered, “The human body is nothing to be
ashamed of… unless you have, insecurities.” Shaundi chuckled at
the look on Pierce’s face as he shot back, “I’m good.”
“So, got a name big guy?” Inquired Evelyn, hanging back with
Shaundi and Pierce as the brute busted through a set of double
doors. “My Name is Oleg Kirrlov…” Aah, Oleg, a fitting name.
“So… what’d you do… before you where a…. glorified pincustion?”
Inquired Shaundi, careful to pick her words so that it wouldn’t
offend Oleg. “I think it is best for our friendship that I never
Elaborate. Just know that the enemy of your enemy is your
friend. As long as you oppose the Syndicate, you will have
nothing to fear from me.”
Evelyn replied, “Then we’ll be all good. Glad to have you in the
Saints.” The foursome continued through the corridors, until
they asended a final staircase. Oleg broke into a run and
yelled, “Phillipe’s office is this way!” All of them ran after
Oleg, Shaundi had her gun raised, searching for Phillipe. She
saw him get into an elevator, and she open fired on him, Pierce
and Evelyn followed her lead. Shaundi’s suspicions about
Loren’s injuries in the attack on the plane where correct, he
wore a black eye patch. Miraculously, and to Shaundi’s dismay,
the Elevator doors slammed shut before any of the bullets could
get him. Evelyn ran into the elevator doors and hit them with
her gun, “Damn it!” She cried, now they couldn‘t get to Loren.
“That’s an express elevator to the basement, there’s no way to
catch him.” Evelyn ran off towards the balcony, and stopped.
“Fuck. That.” She then ran towards the railing, and vaulted over
it, grabbing onto a large metal ball that hung from the ceiling.
Evelyn drew one of her KA-1 Kobras and leveled it at a door that
soon opened to reveal Syndicate guards. “Get this thing loose!”
Evelyn cried as she wiggled around, fruitlessly trying to wedge
the giant metal ball from the ceiling. Shaundi’s heart pounded,
was Evelyn asking her to do what she thought she was?
Oleg ran at a group of Syndicate, and plowed through them,
grabbing a couple of them and throwing them at the metal ball,
dislodging it slightly. “Shaundi let’s get to work.” Pierce
ordered, firing at the cables that held the ball up. Shaundi
leveled her rifle, and fired on them as well, she heard a snap,
and the ball loosened slightly. Oleg threw another Syndicate
guard at the ball, and it loosened a bit more. “Come on!”
Screamed Evelyn, and Shaundi fired with even more intensity,
until she heard another snap, and in the blink of an eye, the
large ball, and Evelyn, where gone.
Shaundi’s heart jumped into her throat, and Shaundi ran to the
railing, peering down at the shrinking ball. “Shit…” She
muttered, she then felt a large hand on her back. “She will be
Ok, let us go to the Elevator and find our way to the basement
so we can get Loren, shall we?” Reassured the gruff and heavily
accented voice of Oleg, and Shaundi smiled slightly, “Let’s.”
The three of them made their way to the Elevator once more, and
pressed the down button. No kidding about the “Express” part, it
almost felt like being dropped down the whole skyscraper. The
elevator slowed, then came to a halt and the doors opened.
Shaundi stepped out first, and examined the area. There was
Evelyn, kneeling down next to a pool of blood in the crater that
was caused by the massive metal ball. “Loren’s or yours?”
inquired Shaundi, and Evelyn stood, holding a blood red scarf in
her grasp. “Loren’s.”
Shaundi smiled, and ran over to Evelyn, wrapping her in a tight
hug. “Really could’ve used an 80’s action hero joke.” Muttered
Evelyn, stuffing the scarf in her belt. Shaundi smiled, then
lamented, “Time to blow this place to Hell.” Evelyn smiled,
“Indeed.” Oleg held out a hand, and said, “I hate this place
more than anyone, but it would be Folly to destroy Phillipe’s
research without seeing what we can harvest from it.”
Was he serious? “We came here to send a message, didn’t we?”
Inquired Shaundi, gesturing to the bomb. “Why not keep the
building for yourself?” He inquired. Well shit, that was a good
point… “Up to you Ev.” Said Pierce, gesturing to the bomb, and a
“BPS” shipping truck next to it. “Let’s keep it.” Said Evelyn
with a smirk, walking over to the bomb and typing in some
commands on the keypad.
“A wise Decision, my friend.” Said Oleg, walking back to the
elevator they’d gone up in the first place. “Let us check out
your new place, I will show you around.” “Sounds good.” Evelyn
said, dropping her rifle and wrapping an arm around Shaundi.
Shaundi smiled, and wrapped her arm around Evelyn’s waist. The
two of them walked up to the Elevator, and Oleg gestured to the
two of them. “It is not wise to fraternize with Co-workers in a
line of work dangerous as this one.” He commented, a concerned
edge in his voice. “When you find love big guy, you’ll know why
we risk it.” Said Evelyn, giving Shaundi’s shoulder a squeeze.
The four of them stepped into the Elevator, and Oleg ordered
Pierce, “Pierce, hit the star on the top of the Panel.” Pierce
obliged, and pressed the button. Within a minute, the Elevator
pulled to a stop and the Doors opened. Evelyn let go of
Shaundi’s shoulder, and exited the Elevator, walking to a set of
Double doors with Shaundi, Pierce, and Oleg in tow.
Evelyn opened the double doors, and surveyed the penthouse. It
was a big conference room, windows, statues, a large conference
table, and unfortunately, a lot of Pink. “We’ve gotta do
something about all the pink.” Oleg smarted, “You prefer a more
manly shade, like Purple?” All three saints turned to look at
Oleg, who merely smiled slightly. Shaundi smiled too, this was
going to end well for them.
