Iv'e always loved the far cry series, Especially the create a
map mode! Best game for creating your own maps hands down!

I own EVERY Far Cry to date. I absolutely LOVE FC2, I love the
detail all of the games have though. I remember when FC
Instincts came out for the original Xbox, that game was so ahead
of its time.

yeah I had the one that had evolution and Instincts on it, I was
suprised to see that they were making Far cry 3!

Riviving dead thread... Anyone been keeping up with FC3? Theres
a pre-order bonus that lets you use monkeys with bomb vest's
strapped to there chest. It's awesome.

random encounters are a must for open world games glad to see
ubisoft following the trend

Ha, I was just actually about to check and see what pre order
bonuses there were for this game, things are looking up for this
game I cant wait!

i have such high hopes for this game it has alot of great things
going for it the encounter system is my personal favorite
some of the events you'll come across are very akin to the
ambient events seen in red dead redemption such as:
1. skirmishes breaking out between the rakyat tribe and vaas
pirates, happens on roads and in the jungle
2. pirates attempting to cage wild animals(tigers) for their zoo
exhibit
3. villager slaves being escorted by pirates to a nearby pirate
outposts
4. animals(wild dogs) chasing after pirates and vice-versa
5. A villager skinning an animal for its pelt.
FC3 begins with the rook islands under pirates control but as
you progress through the story and takeover outposts your less
likely to run into them as they'll be too busy battling with
rival tribals(skirmishes).
and that only counts for the northern island, the southern
island is much tougher to complete as it's ran by a private
military and vass boss hoyt volker. The same as farcry2 the
south will fuck you up silly.

single player maps with AI
could be animals, pirates or both as for me i'd rather have
people to shoot.

God I hope that's true, I've spent more time in editor than
anything else on the game lol! I cant wait for this game
