Welcome to the first ever edition of The Saint’s Weekly – Forum
       Community News

       [glow=red,2,300]What the F**k You Say?[/glow]
Now I was a big fan of the Stilwarer Gazette we had on the site
a few years ago. I felt it really showcased some of the great
work done here by our Community and hope this will make a return
       in the near future.
I am in no way trying to emulate the work done in the SWG in
this news section, I wish to focus exclusively on the community
and aim to provide weekly information regarding Hot Topic’s,
Interviews, Fan Features amongst other Community lead things.
It's still in early stages and hope for this to grow into a tree
of Awesomeness so to speak :-)

I’m pleased to announce that this week’s Fan Feature is one of
our well known forum members (drum roll) ....... BlueXusion. Not
only is he distinguished by his trade mark BLUE avatars but also
for his kind, honest and generous disposition during his time
       here on the forum.
In the magical world of PM, I had a chat with him:
Ayngel: Hello Blue thanks very much for taking the time to have
a wee talk about your Saint’s Row Forum experience. First of all
I would like to ask you how do you feel about being nominated
       for the Fan Feature?
Blue: Hey, thanks for havin' me. It's really an honor to have
been picked. I hope I give entertaining answers, haha.
Ayngel: From what I have observed over the years, you’re a man
of many talents you seem to distribute your skills evenly
throughout the forum. But what do you personally feel you bring
       to the forum?
Blue: Thank you. Haha, Pimpjuggernaut would say "SWAG". I'd love
to agree, but to clarify, I think I bring creativity. There's a
lot of artist and writers on here, so I'm not the only one. It's
just that I look at things from a different angle than a lot of
people. I've gotten many compliments about creating interesting
       or creative thread topics.
I'm most proud of my 'SR:TT Information' topic and the RP that I
started, I feel like it's inspired a lot of other writers to try
their hand at role playing. Before I started it, I couldn't
remember the last role play that we had on the boards, but the
Stilwater Stories section is for RPs and fan fics. So I made
'Left Behind' and it was very popular and got up to 300+ pages.
Now there are several others that are ongoing or in the works.
It's cool to give other fans entertainment while we wait for
SR:TT. It sure made the time fly by for me. I mean, we've got
about a month left before release now.
Ayngel: The forum has changed a lot over the years in regards to
layout, members, features and so on, what are your views on the
progression of the site and is there anything you would like to
       see?
Blue: There's a few addtions to the site that I'd want both
visually and in the mechanics of the site, you know? So like,
maybe a "friend" and "ignore" feature in terms of site
mechanics. But then, like, maybe bring back the ability to
underline and stuff like that, or make it easier to use colored
fonts. However, I think it has come along nicely from the old
days and I look forward to future site layouts and features.
Ayngel: Over the years you have formed friendships, who would
you say you are close to? Any shout outs etc.
Blue: You, Shadow, J, Wisdom and SRG have become good friends
here. I'd like to give a shoutout to Hydro, OGluke, Ganton,
hoohoo and Fatal. No offense if I skipped anyone, just trying to
give quick shout outs to whomever came to mind. Like any forum,
there's the bad seeds, but this forum has a good main crew. All
of the mainstays are great people who care about each other,
Saints Row, and keeping the site organized.
Ayngel: November 15th is not far away, what would you say you’re
looking forward to in the new instalment of Saint’s Row?
Blue: Oh, man! I could talk for hours about the new features
that they've shown and even the things they've implied. I guess
if I had to pick one thing that I'm excited about, I'd like to
see what they've done with cribs. In SR1, cribs were places to
save and get money or weapons. In SR2, the crib expanded to
being like a real life crib...I didn't like the addition of
homies and strippers though. I'd like to see how they look and
       if there's even more options.
Ayngel: Well I would like to thank you once again for the quick
interview, anything else you would like to say before we wrap
       this one up?
Blue:Not really, just to say it was a pleasure to be a part of
this and thank you for having me. SR3, FTW!!
  HTML http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y282/ayngel84/images-6.jpg
We all admired and drooled over Shaundi’s appearance on
       Playboy’s: Virtual Vixen.
But move over Shaundi as there is a new hot piece of ass in
town. But this time it’s something for the Ladies.
I would advise if you’re easily offended by partial nudity ...
       Please look away [glow=red,2,300]NOW[/glow]!

Some special news for all who missed their chance of owning some
Limited Edition Saint’s Row Super Shift Sneakers, Heyday have
announced that they will again be making a limited amount of
these most wanted sneakers in late November- December time .
Which is fantastic news for us Saint’s Row fans but left a
bitter taste in the mouths of hardcore Heyday fanatics, as many
have stated that they feel cheated by them not being so limited
and news of more being created has slightly devalued them.
At present I’m unsure of which locations outside the US will be
able to order but please LIKE Heydays fan page on facebook to

Other fantastic Role Plays are listed in previous issues of SRW
so be sure to take a look and join in the fun. I have cut this
article down a little because I have a special interview from
Amaris the author of a forum favourite - Shaundi’s Side
       Amaris
  HTML http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y282/ayngel84/shaundi_v_smallpic-2.jpg
       Q) Your story Shaundi’s Side has been an extremely popular in
the Stilwater Story section, and is a great adaptation on the
life Shaundi has lived, what gave you the initiative to write a
       story about Shaundi’s back story?

       A) Well, the thing that inspired me to do a story with Shaundi
as the main character is that it's not been done very often, and
if it had been done, the writer stuck very closely to the super
Stoner/whore stereotype that was given to her in the game. In
Saints row 2, you see little glimmers of what shaundi's really
like, so I decided to take those, and expand on them to do a
full story. Plus, whenever i'd read through some stories here
and on FanFiction.net, it seemed like the same stuff over and
over again; Male MC, Male MC and Shaundi love story, Johnny Gat
story, ect. I wanted to break away from that and be different
       from the crowd.
       Q) What is it you like about Shaundi’s Character and what are
your thoughts on the new revamped version in the Third?
       A) The thing I like most about Shaundi is her personality and
her looks. In the game, she's rather laid back and calm, I also
loved the fact that she was the only female lieutenant in the
Saints. As for her looks, well, she's definitely not afraid to
use them to get what she wants, and she's also not afraid to be
herself, all in all, that's what I like most about her.
Shaundi's revamped appearance in Saints Row: The Third is very
nice, in my opinion. I know some people where saying things
like, "Shaundi is no longer Shaundi!" and that she sold out and
got boob implants. Well, as with any videogame character, she
evolved. If you where one of the few who saw the leaked bank
heist gameplay before it was removed, you get to hear Shaundi
talk, she's still herself, her personality doesn't change at
       all.
Q)You’re a fantastic writer; do you have any other Saint’s Row
       related stories in the making?
       A) Yes, but progress is slow because i'm focused on Shaundi's
side. The other story that I have in progress is the background
of Nina Malone, my main character in the RP thread titled "Left
       Behind"
       Q) Do you have any favourite writers here on the forum?
       A)Yes, I love Wetbizket and Aussie boy's work. I have a few
others as well, Electric_Boombox is one of them, there are a few
more, but I won't go into details.
       Q) Do you have any recommended stories for our readers?
       A) Yes, I do! If you haven't already, i'd check out the Left
Behind RP thread, it's really long, but if you read through,
it's almost like a book, it's really good in my opinion. Another
one that i'd reccomend is Sexual Chocolate. It's author,
Saints_RowGurl is an awesome person, i've talked to her on
several occasions, she's one of the nicest people i've ever met.
Yet another reccomendation of mine is the New Merington heights
       series by Electric_Boombox.
Thanks for interviewing me Ayngel, it was an awesome feeling to
be asked for an interview, if you ever need another one, don't
       hesitate to ask! :D

I’m Pleased to announce that this week’s Fan Feature is on
Hydrokilla a fantastic member of the forum who is known for
keeping us posted on technology which is that amazing you will
Sh*t your pants (since December 2007) Not only that, but he is
well respected for his honesty and words of wisdom over the
       years.

Ayngel: Hello Hydro, thank you very much for taking the time to
chat to me about your experiences on the Forum over the years,
so how do you feel about being in this week’s Fan Feature?
Hydro: I feel effin amazing... like a saints celebrity. Maybe I
should make some saints flow next "free of charge" and give it
away to all the fans as a tribute..lmao
Ayngel: Over your time here do you have any memorable moments?

Hydro: Memorable moments....hmmm I mean we all had our share of
fights and disagreements with the mods but i've been on here
long enough to calm my nerves and just observe the new
generation of individuals such as ourselves come into the gaming
scene. The most memorable moments for me is right now. Hehehe ^^
Ayngel: What was it about Saints Row that enticed you to
       continue on supporting the series?
Hydro: I'm not gonna lie the whole gang bangin and gta feel is
what drew me too it but then all the extra shit that just crazy
and ridicolous made me fall completely in love with it. If they
are secretly creating a saints row 4 or if its just a idea in
the back of their heads I hope its far crazier than sr3...I
know its possible cause Volition can make it happen :)
Ayngel: November 15th is not far away, what would you say you’re
looking forward to in the new instalment of Saint’s Row?
Hydro: Mainely cars and insane gameplay. Big tuner fan here. So
I want that and the crazy shit possible. Quite interested in
the sexual inhancement feature. I bought no other game can offer
you streaking down a street while your dragging your dick as it
sideswipes ppl while beating someone's ass with a purple flaccid
dick sword...Lets be real no matter how many game devs that have
been around here longer than ours truly will be copying the
greatest formula ever........I hope that goes viral to all devs
Ayngel: Well I would like to thank you once again for the quick
interview, anything else you would like to say shout outs etc..
Before we wrap this one up?
Hydro: Shot out to my boy Blue >>>>>
       www.youtube.com/watch?v=4358o066t5o
Another shot out >>>> I dont want anyone to feel left out...
Ayngel for giving me this interview, OGluke I think he was my
first friend when everyone was first getting to know me, Fatal
ROFL that’s a whole another story, DGB, J, Cali soul, anyone
knows if I talk to you YOU GET A SHOUT OUT TOOOOOO so I'm raging
for all of you LMAO later :P
As some of you may know Hydrokilla is a chef, he has kindly
whipped up some dishes dedicated to Saint's Row and the
       Community
