Do those do well for starting tomatoes? I've thought about
picking up a couple from Rural King and trying them. Always
used a hot box but these might let me start them inside earlier.

James i used them one year and they done good job. my trouble
was not taking care of them and they got spindly and rotted off.

That's what somebody else told me would happen, the tomatoes
have to stretch so much to get to the light source, they end up
really spindly unless you can keep the light adjusted very close
to them.

them other boys has probably got a cure for that, but they won't
even show me the secret handshake or tell me the password, so
don't know if they will help any or not. they are clanish.
