hush Dan, we in the south. ;D
i can't go like them high rollers, only vacation we have ever
been on was a drive out to Littlerock, stopped to see Raz, and
drove back through Missouri, stopped to sleep once and gas and
eats. i wouldn't know what a vacation is, although i suspect the
       woman could describe one. :timmy:

Clint if your starting a new garden you might consider this, i
get the tree trimmers round these parts to bring me all the wood
chips i can get then i take cardboard boxes lay them flat on the
ground [un tilled] then i put bout 6 inches wood chips on top of
cardboard then i plant my seed the recommended depht this way
you have hardly no weeding and i never have to water. Last year
i had 12 sweet potato plants and they yealed two 7 gallon
       bucket's full.

Might have to try that. Thanks. I know some boys around
Lafayette that grow potatoes by unrolling round bales of hay and
putting seed potatoes under the hay. Grow the hell of of some
       taters that way.

Clint i like the chips because your not inducing the unwanted
seed which the hey would bring also the chips will last several
years before weeds start and when your in a tight for worms
under the cardboard they will be thick,

Well the worms sold me on trying it now. My wife's cousin owns a
stump grinding outfits so I'll just go clean up one of his jobs.
