Logan WV. Here is the info Pete e-mailed to me along with the
photos.

Dean I received those E Mails from a friend I worked with many
years ago who lives in Logan WV. The news paper article about
the man who developed the Lifter mater is interresting thought
you would like it. He has been a avid gardener all his life and
pretty dang good at it . Dean this guy has stage 3 lung cancer
but refuses to give up much respect for him. I gave him enough
Black jewel raspberry plants to start him a big patch last year
he said he did not know if he would live long enough to pick
berries but today he asked the berries will produce this year
right? I said yes he said I think I will be picking berries this
year. His name is Ron Chambers do you think you can put all his
stuff on Dirtdobbers section on hatters I think he would be so
happy for people to see it. Thanks

Thanks Dean for puting it up for me :thumbsup: The ol boy sure
is a fighter he said that he is on his 5th different type of
cancer treatment.They sure are taking a toll on him. I think his
love for gardening has helped him thru all this so far. The
mater man Dan may have competition.
