Got the garden scratched and going to broadcast some turnip seed
this afternoon. It's time. Hope to be grazing on some greens
pretty soon. I ain't likely to plant nothing else. RAZ

I put out 6 rows recently myself, they're around 5-6" tall now
       and growing pretty fast.

I'm way late but I'm going to plant some purple tops anyway.
Had a lot of rain and a knee injury. Knee injury hasn't been
kind to my gardening this year at all.

Tim, maple leaves are turning here. I don't think I've ever seen
that happen this early. Cold, wet summer followed by this.

I'm aiming to eat me some greens this weekend. All I want with
them is a pan of cornbread, a Bermuda onion, some pepper sauce,
maybe some fried baloney, and a quart fruit jar of sweet tea.
To me that's about as good as it gets......RAZ

[/quote]Not near that far along here. Poplars and a few gums
showing some color. I would say we may be two weeks early this
year. We are going to have another shit eating mast crop right
       here though. :pile:
That is two years in a row. The state as a whole has a decent
mast crop from what I understand. I have no clue why it failed
       here.
