       I reckon they are considered heirloom.   Does anybody on here

       'spect I would like them. Never met but one kinda pea I didn't
       like and that was the big green garden peas. Funny thing I love
       the little ones.

       JUst finished up a big bowl of green beans, new potatoes, Swiss
       chard and zucchini all cooked together, garnished with lemon
       juice, evoo, and kosher salt. I never met a bean or pea of any
       sort, dried or fresh, that I didn't like, with the possible
       exception of fava beans.

       Mother would raise a pea that she called "little lady peas". The
       pod was only 4 or 5 inches long and the peas were small. It took
       forever to pick and shell a pot full but add some country style
       steak and gravy and a young man could hurt himself.  rol
