Or, if you're banned from the sploder forums (which a lot of you
actually are XD) here is the quote

and that is exactly what Lavalinn has done here. Hello everyone,
it's TheWaffleLord here with a review of 3D Islands, a physics
game with a 3D look and feel made by a user named Lavalinn. How
well did he execute this? Let's find out!

From what I've seen, Lavalinn does show that he has enough
potential to become a really good game maker in a few of his
other titles, but he doesn't always show all of his potential in
the same package. The first thing we are greeted with inside of
this game is a tutorial level with a big 3D graphic of
Lavalinn's head. I actually like how he did this, because it
gives players an opportunity to understand the mechanics of the
game before they jump right into the action. I can name quite a
few games that completely fail when it comes to actually knowing
what to do, but I'm not going to do that because I'm not that
kind of person. When we do jump into the action though, I have
to say he did it pretty well when it comes to how the 3D effect
looks. How it functions however, well...we'll get to that later.
But, it looks absolutely stunning, and there is a lot of detail.
He nailed the graphics and scenery, and I think this is actually
       one of Lavalinn's strengths.
       >
       > How it plays, well...that's a totally different thing. The
shapes are the right size, so nothing collides in places where
it shouldn't, except in this one area on the fourth level. It's
the controls that didn't feel right to me. I feel like he
should've turned motion resistance on, or use an arcade mover,
because you can glide too fast to the point where you're gonna
run into something and you have almost no control over it. Also,
it doesn't help that I am not a fan of using the arrow and WASD
keys at the same time to control two players. I would've rather
had a system where you click on one of the objects and control
it from there, and you can click on the other one and control
that one. But this is just me, and Lavalinn himself actually
addressed that he actually wants the controls to be that way.
Not sure if he's crazy or not, but I personally disagree with
him, and I would've done them a bit differently.
       >
       > Everything else about the gameplay though was fairly good. 3D
Islands is pretty fun, not gonna lie, and actually quite
addictive too. The first time I beat it, I won't say I did
particularly well, but I had fun, and nothing was really
stopping me from trying to beat the game. Again, there are quite
a few games out there here on Sploder I can think where I get
bored right away. This is also something Lavalinn does very well
at, making his games fun to play. However, I found that the
difficulty of this game was a bit on the easy side, which I
guess is a step up from one of Lavalinn's older games which was
truly enraging, but I would've liked to see some moving enemies
and maybe some other kinds of hazards within 3D Islands.

the better 3D games I have played. Is it feature worthy? I'd say
yes. I think it's good enough to be featured, and I saw on the
comments that a few other people think should be featured as
       well.
