I'd rather see the Tigers make it to the WS rather than the
Rangers. I never could get into anything down there in Texas
including the cottonmouths, fireants, and armadillos.

Cards make it to the WS against the Rangers... didnt see that
coming at the start of the year... Rangers yes... Cards not even
close.
Would be something if they managed to win it again.

And this is why sometimes the Wild Card really is helpful. The
Cards won 90 games, so it's not like they backed into the
playoffs or that they only made it because the Braves collapsed.
But they did make it and are now going to the World Series.
Between the Cards and Brewers I was pulling for the Brewers sine
the Cards have been there (and won it) recently. But hopefully
next year for the Brewers. It would also be nice if they could
somehow retain Fielder too, although that seems unlikely.
I'm sure Cub fans are hating this but the Cards are a class
organization. And say what you want about LaRussa but the guy
gets his team to win.

I hate the Wild Card.
No doubt exacerbated by the fact that the Wild Card team has
home field advantage in the WS.That struck me as "odd". . .and
by "odd" I mean "retarted".
