To All Members:
In the last few months, numerous posts here have violated U.S.
Copyright Laws. They have been posted mainly in The World Today
thread but in other threads as well.
It is illegal to C&P complete columns/articles from other
sources and post them here. By law you are limited to copying
two to four paragraphs from an article/column and must then
identify the source in your post and add a link to the
story/article at its original source. For articles that are very
long you can probably add another paragraph or two. Or you can
just simply post the link to the story without C&P any of the
article here.
Please follow the legal practice as I've been already sent a
'cease and desist' warning about copyright infringements which
threatened a lawsuit if violations of the law continue here.
From this point on, any and all posts that violate these
standards will not be modified but will be deleted. In the
future, members who continuously disregard copyright laws will
be placed on 'moderation' status.
