I liked Falk. His glass eye gave his facial expressions a
       quirky vibe.

If this ever gets produced for TV, it will be absolutely awful:
       Blues Brothers' readies for primetime
Belushi, Beatts write script as possible series
       By STUART LEVINE
       'Blues Brothers'
Jake and Elwood Blues are on a new mission: to find a place in
       primetime.
A new incarnation of the Blues Brothers, the duo made famous by
John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd in the late 1970s, is about to be
pitched to studios and networks in the form of a new TV
series.Current TV rights have long been owned by Aykroyd and
Judy Belushi -- John's widow -- while Universal owns the film
rights. Belushi and former "Saturday Night Live" writer Anne
Beatts, along with Wayne Catania and Kieron Lafferty, have
       penned a pilot.

musical number, presumably featuring a new Blues Brothers band.

       > "It would be 'Route 66' meets 'Glee,' and it all goes to hell
       in a handbasket," Beatts said.

The only people that want to see the Blues Brothers reincarnated
are the same 2 dozen people in and around Chicago that can't
wait for the next Cheap Trick/Styx concert...

I wouldn't mind seeing Cheap Trick. But definitely not Styx.
       Or Survivor. Or Chicago.

Chicago with Terry Kath was actually a pretty good band.
Chicago with Peter Cetera at the helm was when the band turned
       into chick-rock.

Agreed about TK-era Chicago. Accidentally shot himself while
       cleaning his gun, IIRC.

       Tork [Still] Rules.
Unlike previous Monkees shows which featured mainly the hits,
the group dug deep into their catalog and regularly played a
43-song set that lasted over two hours.
"We managed to pile in a lot of songs because we dropped the
middle verse from some of them," says Tork.
