Yeah, "send more cops" is pretty much THE line from that one.
And didn't the girl allow her zombie boyfriend to eat her brain?

Kinda like how Ozzie Guillen let zombie Juan Pierre eat his
       brain.

Watching "The Searchers" whilst waiting for tonight's tilt. It's
a damn fine film, and that's somehow an understatement. It's
       like, really good.
Also a bump for this topic, which I think should receive more
traffic amongst the 10 or so of us.

"The Searchers" is one of the few John Wayne movies that I like.
"Red River" and "The Shootist" are some others. But for the
most part, his "acting" is hard to take.

Got "To Kill a Mockingbird" from the library. Good movie. I
think it was Robert Duval's first film.
Fury, picked up "Sacred" by Lehane too. Okay, but he's much
       improved now.

Yeah, Lehane has really sharpened his pencil since then.
Compare "Sacred" to "Shutter Island" or "The Given Day"... well,
       there's no comparison.

Just saw this week's "South Park". For an (almost) 14-year old
show, they still know how to bring it. Reminds me of the
uber-brilliant "Terrence & Phillip instead of part 2 of the dumb
Who's Cartman's dad / April Fools" episode. Love the "Tween"
imagery, and the use of Stevie 'the goat" Nicks at the end.

So I get "The Searchers" from the library, can't remember seeing
that one, and I'm fifteen minutes into it and I'm wondering just
what in the hell Jeter is talking about, because it seems like
so much corn to me that I want to stick a cob up John Ford's
ass, but I give it another try on another day, "buying in", as
they say, and I don't know that I would call it "real good", but
       it does have some moments.
Next week is "Repo Man" because a character in an Elmore Leonard
novel is very much taken by Harry Dean Stanton and the film.

I loved Repo Man, course that is not saying a whole lot, as I am
not a movie critic in the least.
