BTW, Bears showed they are pretenders not contenders last night.
Even though I'm not a huge fan of Cutler, the fact is that they
win when he plays and are a completely different team (read:
mediocre) when he doesn't.

he hasn't done a ton of winning here. They are pretty good when
he plays, but he also can be lousy

Just looked him up, Bears are 31-18 in games that he's played in
since coming here in '09. Drop his first year and they're 24-9
the last three years.
1-5 to close out last season when he went down and 0-1 so far
this year.
I'm just sayin'...

Illini up 15 on Butler, nearing halftime out in Maui. Big
surprise to me. We are a helluva 3-point shooting team thus far
this season. We have also gone from one of the worst passing
teams I ever saw last season to a decent passing team this year.
We look like Fighting Illini again.
Would not surprise me to see Butler come back however.

Also if they go to 16 teams they can have 2 8 team divisions
which evens their schedules a bit and allows them to have a Big
10 tournament championship game and more revenue from that.
