for blackie... they boarded a plane Wednesday morning to go to
Bristol, O'Brien and his colleagues walked past a group of six
coaches carrying University of Illinois bags and suitcases. A
Penn State official told ESPN.com that no words were exchanged
between O'Brien and the Illinois contingent.
so looks like Illini are going after some of those penn players
pretty hard.

Might as well... with both Penn State and Ohio State ineligible
for the conference championship game, this might be our best
shot. The Badgers must think they have a cakewalk to the conf
championship.

Good to see atleast some in the NCAA wanted harsher punishments
for PSU.

4 year death penalty would probably have gotten them kicked out
of the Big 10 as well. I'm actually shocked they managed
negotiate this easy of a penalty when compared to 4 year death
penalty + fine.

A lot of money to be made elsewhere... not giving the death
penalty over this... is just shameful... esp after reading that
some wanted to give them a 4 year death penalty.

Yeah, Illini have 6 assts on their campus. Supposedly a kid
named Nowicki or Nowacki, an Arizona kid who visited USC,
Michigan and others before choosing PSU is one of the ones we
may get. Could be very interesting.

Hargreaves dad is a coach at USF (DE and special teams)... I
cant believe Holtz cant land a kid whose dad coaches on our
team... hes been working with holtz for 5-6 years... so
Hargreaves has grown up where Holtz has coached... and we cant
get that kid to come to USF...

Is there some reason that no one points out the hypocrisy of
NCAA's haughty "we're all about academics and character-building
and ethics" speechifyin' when every other goddam program doesn't
give a shiit about that stuff?
This is why I hate college sports. Also because Northwestern
tends to suck, but that's just me.
