Blackie, I was looking into acquiring rights for the
"Smoke-a-Bowl", but not sure I want to sue Cheech and Chong for
it. LOL
Saw Wilco last night, going again tonight as well. Nick Lowe
opens for them, acoustic set for Nick, helluva version of
Allison (Elvis Costello tune of course).
Saw North Mississippi All Stars a few weeks back, you are
correct, they are good. I hear Luther is touring with Anders
Osborne, but not when Anders is up here, but I still might get
tix for that, Anders opens for Keb 'Mo.
Seeing lots and lots of concerts with all this free time :-)

Wilco is nice and all, buit I'd probably be more excited to see
Nick Lowe.
I'm jealous... been working way too many hours these last ten
months... I've missed a lot of great shows.

Surprised to hear your lack of enthusiasm over Wilco. Since he
sobered up and kept this band together for about 4-5 albums now
I think they have improved technically so much compared to
previous Wilco bands.

The TV, Music, Food, Drink & Cinema Review & Revue topic is
disappointed that the above three Wilco posts weren't placed
there. Especially since it's been 4 weeks since someone posted
at that topic.

New Illini football coach, raised by a father who coached,
worked under Urban Meyer, Mike Gundy and Jim Tressel so he has
that going for him. Watched his presser, he is one intense dude.
I think I like this hire very much.

any superstar athlete that gets married without a pre-nup well
after he's already rich and famous = dumb@ss.
Kobe Bryant's net worth is estimated between $200-$300 million.

I'm shocked... the sanctity of marriage means more then a
pre-nup... what are you implying?

There's nothing worse in youth sports than hockey parents:
Mike Milbury charged with assault
Former Boston Bruins player and coach Mike Milbury has been
charged with assault and battery on a child after an incident at
a pee-wee hockey game.
Milbury, who is currently an NHL analyst for Versus' "NHL Live,"
as well as the CBC's "Hockey Night in Canada," also was charged
with threats to commit a crime and disorderly conduct after
allegedly verbally and physically assaulting a 12-year-old boy
during a Dec. 9 game at the rink at Larz Andersen Park in
Brookline, Mass.
One of Milbury's employers, NBC Sports, said Friday that he had
been taken off the air.

Looks like Indiana may have a good team this year. They knocked
off Ohio State tonight.
