I shouldn't make light of it... but I will anyway:
I didn't know Penn State was a Catholic school.

That Penn State/Jerry Sandusky scandal is incredible and
disgusting. The whole athletic staff needs to resign, including
JoePa.

If what is being reported is true, they not only need to resign,
but serve some time behind bars...

This thing is going straight from tragic to to complete
catastrophe:

What i dont get... is how is JoePA being fired for a moral short
coming but McQuery gets to keep his job... he actually saw
sandusky assaulting a 10 year old. turned his back on the kid
and went and told his boss...
Didn't he feel some semblance of human responsibility to step in
help the child?

I do too. Here's what I don't get. McQueary reportedly told
his father first. Why in the HELL didn't his father say, "son,
you've got to call the police"? Then, when he told JoePa, why
didn't Paterno call the cops?
This thing repeatedly fell through the cracks. Unbelievable.

Its obvious lots of people failed to do the right thing... it is
very unbelievable... but that fact that McQuery is getting a
pass, when he could have himself stepped in and stopped the
assault on a child... is in my view inexcusable... hes atleast
as culpable as joepa

When did this story start to break? I find it interesting that
nothing was heard about this until after Joe Pa beat the Illini
to become the winningest coach ever. Did it in fact come out
before that? If not, the conspiracist in me questions whether
it was held back because whoever spilled it thought Joe PA might
be taken down by it and wanted him to get his record.
Oh, and Area 51 is real.
