Yeah, since it's going to be New Year's Eve, how about a pic of
someone passed out in the gutter?

You're welcome. Yes, I remember as a youngster growing up in
the city of Chicago watching Roller Derby, All-Star Wrestling
out of Minneapolis-St. Paul, followed by the Pro Bowling Tour on
ABC on a Saturday late morning to mid-afternoon. Good times.
BTW, the picture is a Tribune archive photo with the caption:
An estimated 50,000 fans packed the old Comiskey Park to watch
the Chicago Pioneers take on the Los Angeles Thunderbirds in a
roller derby match in September 1972. The rough-and-tumble sport
was invented in Chicago in the 1930s and enjoyed a few decades
of popularity, thanks in part to television, before fading in
the 70s.

There are also plenty of old Roller Derby/Rollergames video
clips available to view at YouTube.

Are members' post counts accurate? Just wondering.
Not that I care much, but just a few days ago, Wshfl's post
count was in the 500s and now it's in the 800s. I don't think
he's made 300 posts in a week.
Makes me wonder if I've made 500-plus posts myself. Maybe not.

Thanks Andy for the uniform post. Its not a bad looking uniform.
I suppose that the usage is to encourage more sales at the park.
Personally I like the black ones . I hope we dont go through
another uniform switch.

Oh and by the way Andy isnt that Dick Allen's jersey? My memory
is kinda vague. That guy should be in the Hall. Much better than
Santo

More talent than Santo, but not the better player. Hated Santo,
but he did play a real good 3B on D, and he hit consistently for
years. Allen was hurt a lot, had other on/off field problems,
was not well liked by mgmt etc.... especially when he was a
Phillie.

Yes.
Dick "Don't Call Me Richie" Allen wore #15 with the White Sox.
