Article discussing Becks... MAkes a valid case concerning his
plate disciple being shot.... (FIRE GREG WALKER NOW).
he needs to be send down to get his crap together. I know
Hitting coaches dont do much... but how much longer do we stick
       with walker?

I have heard worse ideas although the possibility doesnt
       interest me particularly

There are only a small handful of great hitters who have made
good batting coaches. Offhand, I can't think of any. But there
       must be a few.
Plus, I'd kind of like to see Frank Thomas just go away and
re-surface for HoF honors, then go away again.

I know one great hitter that didnt exactly make a great hitting
coach and that was Ted Williams. Now he did have disciples.
Charlie Lau wasnt a great hitter but he was a great hitting
       coach

Come to think of it, Frank Thomas is a disciple of Walt Hriniak,
who in turn was a disciple of Charlie Lau. And I don't
particularly care for that hitting method. So... cancel my
       earlier suggestion.
       Maybe Ron Kittle instead.
