And please explain what you mean by "corporations against the
middle class." That doesn't compute for a populist rube like
       myself...
Well lets see.. the general shift of money from the middle class
to the corporations. the US now has a solid 30 year track record
of socializing large scale corporate losses. Another huge issue
is cheap credit. It helps no one other then corporations and the
wealthy... grandma and grandpa that used to rely on the interest
earned on savings accounts can now get zero. even your
generation got to atleast spend half your lives in a time where
you could outpace the rate of inflation with simple savings
account interest... thats pretty much going to a be a thing of
the past now... even CD's dont come close to matching up with
       the rate of inflation.
Now we're being force fed the lie that corporate taxes are too
high, they are preventing growth... when the actual paid out
taxes are far far lower then the tax rate and corporate profits
are at an all time high.
You hear all of big oil complaining about a 4 billion total tax
credit... while exon alone is expected to announce a 12 billion
dollar profit for just the last quarter... btw that profit is
AFTER they pay their taxes. Record profits.. poor poor oppressed
       corporations,

I think you be wrong... imo independents have less patience
towards corporate protectionism them others.... and they'll vote
against the current republican platform.. esp if the rynd paul
       ryan budget platform moves forward...
Old people out of touch with reality on the other hand do love
       them some tea party.

A nice **** governor you guys have up there...
Gov. Pat Quinn Threatens to Stop Illinois Cities’ Funding if
       Borrowing Not Approved
Governor Quinn wants to stop monthly payments to Chicago and
other Illinois cities and towns if lawmakers won't let him
borrow billions of dollars to pay overdue bills. The Chicago
Tribune reported it obtained a confidential memo distributed to
       top legislators outlining the proposal.
The General Assembly has been skeptical of the governor's plans
to borrow huge sums of money. At stake is the share of the
state income tax that goes to cities and villages, which amounts
to about $1 billion a year.
Quinn wants to turn off the spigot if he can't win approval for
       borrowing.

Hey Method - is that the kind of "progressive" state you'd like
       to move to??
