Well, it's here and it's only going to get worse. Obama and his
party's profligate spending and borrowing are killing the
dollar. They're toast in 2012. No chance in hell that idiotic
party is elected in large numbers.

Again with this myth... Micro prices arnt going up due to
inflation... Republicans will lose alteast 60% of their gains
from the last election... the blue hairs will punish rand paul
       and his attack on medicare..

       Really, Method?
Ryan budget plan for entitlement reform polling best with …
       seniors
Ryan’s plan includes a complete restructuring of Medicare for
people younger than 55. Pluralities of middle-aged Americans as
well as those 65 and older prefer Ryan’s plan to Obama’s, while
adults 18 to 29 show more support for Obama’s, 53% to 30%. These
findings are in line with approval of Obama by age, more
       generally.

       I didn't realize our Demagogue-In-Chief actually had a plan.
All I saw was a campaign speech.
And Rand Paul has nothing to do with this...it's Paul Ryan.
Rand Paul's plan cuts $500B from the budget IMMEDIATELY.

Rand Paul... Paul Ryan... equally asinine budget plans its easy
to see how one could get confused.

No, what's asinine is a President who tells the American people
that all we need to do is tax the "rich" more and get back $4
billion in tax write-offs from "big oil" to solve our deficit
       problem. Ya know, "shared sacrifice".
Again, that pulls in roughly $80-90B annually. How the hell
does that even come close to narrowing our $1.6 TRILLION
       deficit??
Ah, who cares... it's Marxist class warfare, baby! Winning the
future! Hope and change! Shared sacrifice, shared prosperity!
       More like smoke and mirrors.

Why announce? Once you announce candidacy you have to abide by
       all campaign finance rules.
Obama is going to have a war chest, it's Ron Paul crazy to begin
having to spend money now wile limiting what people can give
       you.
Better to let folks give you as much money as they want while
you travel with your "exploratory committee".

Only class warfare going on is corporations against the middle
       class.
       Populism has ruined the right.
Tell me more about how much Rand Paul Ryan's budget cuts off the
deficit? and please try to not use heritage foundation
       numbers...

The CBO sez the budget is balanced around 2030...

And please explain what you mean by "corporations against the
middle class." That doesn't compute for a populist rube like

heres a bit more on the amazing plan! CBO btw states slightly
       past in 2040.
Even some critics of House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan’s
budget plan have praised his “courage” and his willingness to
make “hard choices” to address looming deficits. But, upon
closer inspection, Chairman Ryan’s widely reported claim that
his plan produces $1.6 trillion in deficit reduction proves
illusory. In fact, the numbers in his plan show that his budget
produces just $155 billion in real deficit reduction over ten
years.... That’s because his budget cuts are offset by $4.2
trillion in tax cuts that would go disproportionately to those
at the top. In essence, at least for the next decade, this plan
is far less a blueprint for addressing deficits and far more a
proposal to redistribute large amounts of resources from those
at the bottom to those at the top....
About $1.3 trillion of the claimed $5.8 trillion reduction in
spending, however, comes simply from taking credit for spending
less in future years for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, as a
result of the already-planned drawdown in the number of troops
fighting in those countries. While this accurately reflects the
difference between spending for the wars in Ryan’s plan and
spending for the wars projected in CBO’s baseline, it does not
represent savings or deficit reduction resulting from any change
       in policy proposed by Ryan....
Ryan himself said in a February interview that savings in the
Obama budget that come from the troop drawdown should not be
considered real savings or deficit reduction. Ryan commented
that the Obama budget showed savings of $1.1 trillion because
the costs under the proposed withdrawal were compared to a
baseline that assumed “they’re going to be in Afghanistan and
Iraq at current levels for ten years,” and called these “phantom
savings.” Ryan was correct to term these “phantom savings.” And
if the phantom savings are not counted as real savings, the
amount of spending cuts that Ryan’s proposals produce is $1.3
       trillion less than Ryan claims...
Its funny how the plan takes advantage of the whole... we
planned to spend it and we wont so its a budget savings trap...
dont hear that being mentioned much in your analysis of this
plan boat... i wonder if that has to do with the R after Paul
       ryans name.
Just throwing out an assinine plan that is completely
unrealistic doesnt make him a hero. They still base some of
their projections on the amazing ability of this bill to come up
with 3.5 million new jobs in 4 years...
At the end of the day hes calling for 4.2 trillion in tax cuts
and 4.46 trillion in spending cuts... that works out to a
whopping 240 billion saved on that massive deficit... this is
assuming we get the amazing job growth he seems to think we'll
be able to pull off. And we arnt even talking about how bad his
proposed cuts to medicare are.... giving more money to the rich
while taking away services from the the older and poor... thats
       courage!
IMO any serious plan budget plan for deficit reduction must
address closing tax loopholes and increasing revenue ALONG with
large spending cuts... otherwise its wishfulthinking. we've got
30 solid years of evidence cutting taxes and starving the
government of revenue does nothing to help deficits.
Its outstanding that Paul Ryan has a plan to join in with
Obama... we now have two little puppet shows filled with
absolutely no solutions to tangible problems being pushed as the
next right choice... instead of an electorate demanding better
proposals we're left fighting over which turd sandwich looks
more appetizing.... and actually talking about electing more
politicians that support either of these plans as being anything
       more then a farce.
