Heard some ot the new Robbie Robertson, and wasn't singing
along.
Hey, and what the hel l happened to Dylan's neck? It looks like
it got the Van Morrison disease.
However, the mono release of Bob's first six (or is it seven?)
albums on disc is a sheer pleasure, especially some of the early
early songs you might have forgotten about. The people who say
he can't sing are tone deaf.

I do not mind the new Robertson CD, something to do with
clairavoyence? Took me a couple listens, but I like it.

That does sound interesting. I hope the tour doesn't venture too
far west of Halsted, as we're in the middle of Shootin' Season
and also now Wildin' Season.
Only somewhat related, we recently took a walk along the Joliet
Ironworks ruins. Pretty interesting. It ends right near the old
prison, so we went through some broken fencing to get a closer
look at that fine facility. Pretty eerie. They (someone!) is
really missing the boat by not getting that prison open to
tours. I believe the Dept. of Corrections still owns it.
Wanted to do the Rialto Theatre, but it's open for a tour (or
even to walk around it) something like once a week on Tuesdays.
Good call, Joliet.
Museum was surprisingly nice and modern (and fairly
interesting).

Why are so many theatre's named Rialto. I really don't know,
and yes I could google but I choose not too when someone here
probably knows.

There are a few things wrong in that piece.
Lincloln supported the fugitive slave law because it was a law
protected by the Contstituion, not because he agreed or
disagreed with it. To say that because one supports a provision
of the constition it means that someone agrees with the
provision is a flat-out false hood. Lincoln made many comments
and sttements showing that he disagreed with the concept of the
fugitvie slave law, yet he supported the Constitution.
Article 2 (only one section)
No Person held to Service or Labour in one State, under the Laws
thereof, escaping into another, shall, in Consequence of any Law
or Regulation therein, be discharged from such Service or
Labour, But shall be delivered up on Claim of the Party to whom
such Service or Labour may be due.
2nd, there were no Evangelicals in the 1860's. Some try to
trace the movements to the 1750's but it is simply not the case.
What you had in the 1860's were main-line protestant
denominations. The movement that one would consider the birth
of the Evanglicals occurred in the late 1880's the the early
1900's. Primarily due to evangelists like DL Moody, he of the
Moody Church and the Moody Bible Insttute, and Billy Sunday
among others..
Billy Sunday played for the White Stockings.
