       Knowledge Outcomes
       Student will be able to:
       1.  Given a scenario, the student will be able to identify a
       client's needs.
       2.  Develop an intervention according to a client's needs.
       3.  Listen and respond to the needs of faculty, administration
       and other members of the school community.
       4.  Identify and communicate recommendations to student,
       parents, faculty and other school community members regarding
       specific issues.
       5.  Identify community resources and make appropriate referrals.
       6.  Identify developmental stages of cognitive and emotional
       development for elementary, middle and high school students.
       7.  Define the role of the school counselor within the context
       of the school culture.
       8.  Identify demographics, values and expectations of the school
       community.
       9.  Describe the organizational structure of the school to which
       they are assigned.
       10.  Identify the resources within the school for students and
       parents to utilize.
       Skill Outcomes
       Students will be able to :
       1.  Apply appropriate techniques within individual, small and
       large group counseling settings.
       2.  Actively participate in Special Education and 504 meetings.
       3.  Apply techniques to promote academic success among students.
