So I have a qwestion...

This will probably turn into a complicated debate, but what's
your opinion on gays/lesbians?
If you knew one would you be able to just let the person be?
Would you be preaching on a soapbox?
Last, what do you think our culture's ideas, opinions, and
influences are on the subject?
Wondering what y'all think.

I think they are people and that they have every right to feel
the way they do. Who are we to say they can't feel attraction to
the same gender or even marry someone of the same sex? It's none
of my buisness, so I only express the way I feel when I'm asked
or when I need to defend someones feelings.
and I think todays society is a lot more accepting of
Gay/lesbian rights, only they're still looked down on.

I don't think its right to look down on someone just because
their different.
If I knew one, I think I would be able to accept them.
It seems weird to us, but its normal for them
They really can't help it.
I don't believe its right to be a lesbian/gay, but its their
business, not mine.

I think that, yes, it's kind of a dumb desicion. But I don't
hate gays/lesbians. I respect their choices, no matter how
stupid I think it may be. And I don't mean, if I knew
any...because I do know some, and I treat them the same as
everybody else. But I still believe that God made men to
marry/fall in love with women. And women to marry/fall in love
with men.

i know some gays and lesbians and they're some of the cooler
people i know, to be honest ^_^
i don't have a problem with them at all :]
however, i don't like the act of homosexuality, but at the same
time...it's a sin just like any other, and who am i to judge?
God loves them just like he loves anyone and everyone else (:

To me homosexuality is a sin, just like lying or lusting.
People who are gay/lesbian are just sinners, like everyone
myself included.
I know gay people have no problem with them themselves.
I have a problem with their actions, but I'm not about to go
shouting to them about how they're damned or whatnot.

It's a decision. If love ain't a decision, why does God tell us
to love? If it were automatic, then haters wouldn't be haters.
They'd be lovers. It's a decision.

YES!!!!
w00tw000t. A forum where we can freely state our opinions
without being moderated to the point of absolute discrimination.
^.^
I'm completely, and utterly fine with LGBTQ people. They're
people - they have feelings, emotions, hearts, minds,
souls...and I believe in equality for ALL regardless of race,
religion, gender, sexual orientation, et cetera.
I happen to know a large amount of LGBTQ peeps - and love them
to death. =)
The world needs variety...too much of the same thing is...not
fun.
