The "A Spin of the Wheel" Series/Arc

An idea based off of my What if? post where Shoke encounters The
Red Phantom in Mobatropolis, and has to fight him off during the
night without waking the civilians. This of course will end with
Shoke waking up and realizing it was all a weird dream. The idea
for the arc is that The Red Phantom actually does follow him and
attempt to kill him multiple times, even attracting the
attention of Robotnik with his effectiveness, and how useful he
could be. In the end, will The Red Phantom's true identity be
revealed? Will Shoke run out of convinient tools and abilities?
Will anyone realize that Shoke has an accent and make note of
the fact that he isn't from the country their in? Who knows?
I just wanted to see if anyone liked the idea for a Story Arc
and if it would work. Just sayin.

A slight idea change I've made due to recent events in the main
roleplay. I've decided it would be better to base it majorly on
the idea of Mobotropolis going to war with Glaciem, Shoke's home
country. The war would be led by Kriegara and his right-hand man
would be a mysterious red-clad masked man who calls himself The
Red Phantom, who has an express intrest in Shoke. The arc would
mostly include the difficulties of war and will include at least
ONE large-scale battle where the PC's would have to fight
alongside the princesses army to defend against a large-scale
invasion by The Red Phantom and Kriegara's forces.

These will probably just be me chronicling my new ideas until
its finally time. At least, spoiler free ones. First things
first, Name change from "Blood Red Twilight" to "Mobius In
Flames". I thought it made more sense towards what I was going
for. Also, a new character named Tyrell will be introduced who
will have an integral part in the story alongside The Red
Phantom.

Welp. I completely rewrote the arc. So... yeah. I'm changing the
name again to something different to reflect the altered story.
I can't give any spoilers away, so yeah. Everything I've told
you? Wrong. I even changed The Red Phantoms true identity. Now
he isn't Shoke. HECK, I CHANGED HIS NAME TO THANATOS! So yeah,
renaming it "Temporal Alteration". Working title. Give me some
time.
EDIT: 17/02/2014
Another name change, I came up with something different. There
will always be more to be added, especially after the events of
V's future arc. The name has now been changed to "Broken
Timelines".

I'm going to make this VERY SIMPLE. The arc is almost completely
different now than it was when I started.
It was originally going to be about a war between Glaciem and
Mobotropolis, but then I realized how quickly that war would
end. ^.^;
I've done a tonne of things to make it more and more... balanced
and threatening. Then again, aren't event comics meant to shake
up the status quo? Bah whatever, let me cut to the chase.
I'm putting the arc through its third re-write.
Mhmm.
Dead serious.
I just can't think of anything to do that would be more
threatening than what Kara did with her arc, so shaking up the
status quo is going to be having a more... lighthearted
adventure.
Also, in the second re-write? Shoke was going to be killed and
have his corpse stolen as the initial incident.
Just sayin~

The Red Phantom (Scrapped arc idea 1)

One day, a mysterious stranger is spotted outside of the city.
He has super-speed and the ability to manipulate the wind, as
well as a sword. He has been absolutely destroying the cities
guard and they recruit a few of the honourary Freedom-Fighters
to deal with him.
Among them is Shoke, who when the stranger sees him (And
possibly Sapphire) he ceases his attack and requests to speak
with him/them.
He says that he has been sent from the future and that he need
their assistance in defeating a threat that has been plaguing
the time stream for millenia. A mysterious man known as the Red
Phantom. After telling them this, a portal nearby opens up and
releases a swarm of robots that attack the group. Tyrell
explains after they are subdued that those are his servators and
that them appearing is the first sign that this is the next time
he will destroy. You see, he apparently is going through time
erasing realities for unknown reasons.
The second act begins with Tyrell taking the group to the
location where he will appear, and that they need to go and find
out his plans.
The location is a large tower in a city in Glaciem called
Zephyr's Pointe, where they need to climb to the top, rescuing
any civilians, and defeat The Red Phantom before he does
anything stupid. They do so, learning more and more about
Glaciem through the climb and then reach the top, where The Red
Phantom is revealed to be Shoke from a future where everyone he
loves died, and he was trapped in time, being forced to relive
their deaths over and over again, until he broke, and believed
the only way to save them was to remove his friends from
existance so that when the time came when they were to be taken
from him, they wouldn't be there, so he wouldn't have to suffer
through their deaths any longer. Eventually, he realized that he
must remove himself from existence in order to save his son, who
he reveals to be Tyrell, and that his mother is Sapphire. After
length exposition, they fight the Red Phantom and he utterly
destroys them, but finds himself unable to kill his past self
for some reason. So, he decides to retreat to discover why he
couldn't kill himself. The group awakens in the hospital, being
nursed back to health. Quickly after that, the group is told by
Tyrell that his father is on the prototype space station, Aesir,
which he is repurposing for a weapon that could destroy a good
chunk of Glaciem, and Shoke along with it. The group gains
access to a prototype Space shuttle that can go through the
magic barrier and flies to the station, eventually reaching the
central control room, where the Red Phantom awaits them. This
time, the group isn't fighting to win, they are fighting to
live, and have been equipped with some of the greatest combat
technology that Krieg and Shoke can muster, and they fight him,
eventually defeating him by Shoke stabbing him in the chest with
Durendal, and having him launched out the airlock, killing him
and having Shoke's sword be lost in deep space. In doing so,
Shoke loses his ability to teleport, but he keeps his pocket
dimension because its a separate entity than Durendal, and they
are left with two minutes before the weapon fires. The group
sets the on-board reactor critical and launch back down to the
planet, Shoke sorrowful that he ended up killing him, as
apparently, the station's AI launched him out of the airlock, as
it was a trap the Red Phantom had set previously that Shoke made
note of on the way up. They land on the planet, with Shoke
beginning his sorrowful journey through the five stages of
grief, which he will experience throughout the downtimes and
future arcs.

ABOUT DAMN TIME I CAME UP WITH A STABLE IDEA!

Here is that lovely premise I promised you guys~
Zack wants to make Glaciem a "Democratic Melting Pot Country
That Will Bring The Future Of Governments And Other Such
Malarky" (DMPCTWBtFoGaOSM), and so far his first two attempts to
do so have failed. He has decided to believe the saying "third
times the charm" and go for his third attempt- straight up
taking it by force. And you know what? Because of Shoke's
absence from the country and Krieg being off fighting some war
somewhere, he seizes the perfect opportunity to strike. And he
wins... putting the entire country under a totalitarian rule
where he is the only one with any true power. All laws for him
are gone, and he put a whole bunch of laws in place to prevent
anyone from going after him.
Shoke, wanting to take a group of his friends to Glaciem to show
them around, introduce them to the world he lives in, and just
hang out with some different scenery, learns of this conquering
in a unique way...
He's sent an email from Zack. The email reads as such:
"Dear Shoke Glaytor,
I regret to inform you that I have taken over Glaciem and intend
to keep it for myself. That is, until I get through all the red
tape that is required to make this a prospering democratic
nation.
I have sent the best and most loyal assassin possible to go
exterminate you so that you- the biggest thorn in my side since
the beginning, can be removed from this existance once and for
all.
Send my regards to your father,
Prometheus "Zack" Lehyman.
PS: Do you know how hard it was to get your email? IT TOOK ME
TWO HOURS! TWO! HOURS!"
In which Shoke (And whoever is with him at the time) gets
attacked by said assassin.

All of the characters receive packages containing invitations to
a celebration in Glaciem, with the invites claiming to be from
the King of the nation himself. The invitations allow for each
invited to bring along one other person, and they must make
their decisions by the end of the day, and press the blue circle
on the invitation, which is on sort of an iPad-like device.
They must make their decisions and choose, as apparently they
will be away from Mobotropolis for a while. About a week, in
fact.
