R looked behind her and saw everyone on the ground. They were
saying a sonic boom knocked them over but she didn't feel
anything, or hear anything. R examined the diamond. That was the
thing that emitted the sonic boom and a shriek.
"That diamond caused a sonic boom? I didn't feel anything," she
said, confused. "Guess it's not just any ordinary diamond."

"The Diamond?" he digs in one of his pouches for the strange
looking gem then pulls it out to examine it more closely.
"Hmm..so this is where that loud screech and the sonic boom
originated from..what I find strange about this is how come me
and R didnt feel or here anything the second time it happened?"
The frost weilding hedgewolf has a hand on his chin while he
thinks more on the subject then he turns to his allies to give
them an answer he came up with. "If I have to make a guess..Id
say the reason why im not affected by it is because im currently
holding the gem in my possession and the reason R is not
affected either is because she is standing in close proximity to
me..in which case..the only way for you guys to bypass its
effects would mean you have to stay very close to me" he
finalized.

The diamond soon began to hover from Ty's hand, emitting a low
hum. The metal pieces soon lifted off of the object and slowly
orbited it in a clockwise direction. What is it? What is it used
for? Why were the Mist-locks trying to hide it, entrusting it's
safety with Vesper? Why is it that the last ones to touch it
were not affected by it's wails? Whatever it is, answers were
needed and taking the right precautions is a must. After all,
it's displayed something of great importance and power.

A low humming sound can be heard from the mystery gem cueing the
hybrid's damage ear to flicker and his attention shifted to the
strange object."hm?" he watches it slowly float from the palm of
his hands with the metalic pieces forming a sort of circular
motion except this around time its spiining in the opposite
direction. [Whats going on..is it preparing for another attack?]
he thought to himself as he steps backwards to prepare himself
or another sonic boom or so he assumes.
"Uh oh...brace yourselves everyone its going to hit us again" he
grits his teeth quickly forming a giant thick layered ice wall
thats big enough to shield both him and his allies

opening her wings and positioning them like a shield. "Why does
this gem despise us so much?" she asked, digging her feet into
the ground. She figured best to brace for it incase the ice
shield didn't hold.[/font]

The 'gem' did nothing more than hover and hum, it appeared that
this was it's normal state of existing. Why would it 'attack'?
Or rather, its prior 'attacks' were in fact cries of distress or
strain.

The hybrid expected a loud screech with a following sonic boom
from the mystical gem however the results were it appears to
only just remain still and hasnt done a single action..maybe it
is something about the the diamond he hasnt realized yet..but he
is beginning to see the picture. He shatteres his ice shield
then it quickly dissolves away and he approaches it to stand
closer to the large mineral. "Thats strange...its not doing
anything to us but its just..sitting there..is it a passive
stone?" he wondered as he beigns to think about it with a hand
on his chin.
"Now that I think about it those attacks werent exactly
aggressive...but instead..it was like it was trying to tell us
something..almost it feels as though its crying out for help" he
narrows his eyes and folded his arms until he thought of a
conclusion. "I believe there is Someone is inside that
diamond..but who or what could it be?" he muttered.

As soon as the hedgewolf brought out the strange gem again, it
only hovered and hummed, no 'attacks' this time. The metal
pieces were floating around it, while the gem itself spun in the
opposite direction of the pieces. Confusion went through her
mind all at once, but then, the hedgewolf stated that the gem
hadn't attacked, but was rather giving a warning or something of
the sort, she nodded.
"I think this gem may have a spirit that Vesper caught, or it
could be that pink hedgehog... I mean, that weird shriek
happened after the pink hedgehog got attacked, when you three-"
she indicated the cyan hedgehog, the hedgewolf, and the male
pheonix. "-went into that house, and again when Vesper left. The
hedgewolf is right... there may be someone present in that gem.
Perhaps it could be called the 'Spirit Gem'?" the amber hedgehog
said, adding to the hedgewolf's theory as well as trying to
identify said gem.

perked up and swiveled to the gem. "There is a strange energy
coming from it...." he replied, "but I'm too weakened to tell
exactly what it is...." He opened his eyes slightly as he
coughed. He didn't sound too good but would be fine.[/font]

"Soul's friend isnt dead..she is currently recovering at the
hospital...she is going to make it" he glances at Lori who
thinks her spirit is trapped with in the gem and assuming Soul
had dropped her off at the medical facility.
He turns his attention back to the floating mineral still trying
to figure out its origins. "I could wrong...I might just be
overthinking it..we wont know anytthing until we find out what
it is, where did the stone came from and whats its connection to
the Mist Locks" he said as he approaches the gem to try and
reach his hand out for it half expecting the football sized
mineral to react.
