Secrets are Revealed: Order vs Freedom

(this thread takes place before the events of Sonic Spotlight
exploring some history between Lyric and Ty during the time of
Ty's escape from G.U.N HQ)
A Red Alert can be heard from all around the complex of the
rather large building but familiar G.U.N HQ with a loud echoing
speaker repeating a phrase to all of the availiable units within
the perimeter. The sounds of boots stomping the floors are
traced backed to the G.U.N soldiers who are scattering around
all over the place armed with assault rifles and flamethrowers
ready to deal with an unknown foe.
"Attention all Agents Subject #B37 is escaping the facility
your orders are to capture him dead or alive..the individual is
highly dangerous and is known for using deadly tactics please
proceed with caution."
To compliment the scenery blinking red lights are frequent
around each dark corner with its interconnecected and maze-like
hallways, Mechanical doors are being slide opened by the
scientists and engineers evacuating to a safer zone located at
the bottom of the premise as they dont want to get caught in the
crossfire by this urgent assigment the troops are ordered to do.
A familier super soldier you all know and love can be seen
watching a total of seven soldiers scurry down an intersected
hallway whle Ty is hiding behind a dim part of a nearby wall.
[color=limegreen][I think I lost them..now I can get out of
here] he thought to himself. The hybrid double checks both ways
to make sure and he begins sprinting down the hallway heading
for the opposite direction and makes a sharp turn around the
corner..only for him to stumble upon some more soldiers who are
standing there waiting for him with weopons ready to fire. "ahh
biscuits" he quickly said.
"WE FOUND HIM!! OPEN FIRE MEN!!" one of them shouted and all of
them instantly started spraying thier assult rifles
simaultaniously at the super soldier but thankfully due to his
reflexes as well as the Agents having a poor sense of aiming he
was able to quickly form up a large thick layered ice sheild in
front of him to deflect most of the shots. He backs way slowly
to another part of a different hallway then he freezes the small
group of soldiers leaving them in a frozen prison for him to
continue his escape.
After a long while dealing with countless small groups of
relentless troops Ty finally makes his way outside but
unfortunatly for him there is a small blizzard storm causing
alot of fog which is a huge problem considering he can hardly
see a possible exit for him to go through. "heh..just when I
thought I was home free..but fate wants me to stay a little
longer" he said while glancing around his surroundings.

Like the others of complex he was ordered to find the Rogue
Subject.
In a sense... a brother?
He didn't even know why everyone had to look for one lone
subject.
It wasn't as if the other subjects survived much longer than a
few months...
Still in his training attire he had a pair of guns with him in
no time, Hiding the moment he even heard gunfire.
Ugh. This place truly was no better than Moebius...
Killing this world's Linus to get stronger...
Dumbest idea ever.
As he finally managed to move his way towards outside of the
hanger.
It was dark, and cold as hell outside.
Certainly going through daily testing in that clammy prison
seemed a lot better than this flurry.
Then again...
The subject certainly left quite the obvious trail wherever he
went.
Clearly the subject would've been home free if they kept going..
But seeing as said subject was still standing there...
He breathed deeply and let out a sonic screech in his direction.
Those orange red Eyes simply staring at his work as he had his
guns drawn at the ready.
He realized whom the rogue subject was...
"....Really? You're the one who is trying to run?" He asked.

The hybrid continues to look for any opportunaty to make his
grand escape but to his ill fated luck he still hasnt find an
opening so he begins walking towards whatever direction he is
heading and hopes he finds a way out. Normally one would expect
him to navigate through a blizzard with no problem due to his
element being one with ice and snow.
However this isnt the case as even the super soldiers eye sight
isnt as good seeing through the thick fog."Standing around here
looking for an escape route would give them a chance to catch
me..I suppose I should just keep moving a- UGH! my ears..what
now!?" he exclaimed holding his head for a moment till
eventually his body flings into the air remeniscient of a
ragdoll then he hits the hard cold ground upon impact.
Ty pushes his body back up but remains paritally on the ground
with his arms holding him steady. His spikey head turns to face
his assailent and in a shocking turn of event..it was one of his
partners that he was assigned to in the special forces division
and also the only mobian who has equal combat skills to the
frosty super soldier due to also sharing the enhanced trait with
the hedgewolf. "Lyric" he spat his name with a dissappointing
tone in his voice.

He kept his face unemotional, and tilted his head.
He has worked with this Subject a few times...
...Not as much as Linus perhaps.
But this wasn't about Linus.
Not to mention who cares if he was even friends with that Crow.
"You don't sound happy to see me... Not that I blame you." He
remarked, still ready with his guns.
"...I can't let you leave..." He began, "Can't you make it
easier on the both of us and just... Come back inside?"

He picks himself back up from the ground and shaking his head to
try and nullify the air ringing in his head. But sadly its only
dimming down the noise and not going away for a good while. His
focus hasnt strayed away from from his sarcastic target and due
to him having his pistals ready he knows that he has no choice
but to fight his breathern.
He pulls out his sniper rifle for him to use in combat..now
normally that type of weopon isnt suited for close quarters but
the hybrids marksman skills have gotten used to sniping his
targets no matter the range just as lng as he kills the target.
"Tch...im upset that you would rather stick around and be used
as a mindless tool for them..and I dont plan on staying here any
longer..not after what I just discovered" he said.

"Do you really think you can just go back to your life after
this?" He remarked, outright staring at his fellow subject as he
added, "We're not normal, what kind of life would a living
weapon have for outside of this place?"
He moved to the side, unclicking the safety as he shook his
head, "So you gonna tell me what you discovered?"

"They are planning for world order and dictatorship using us as
pawns to do thier dirty work for them and to do whatever they
want no if ands buts about it..Sargeant Maverick and the
Director are in conspiracy with this whole ordeal." The more he
talks about the subject more frustracted he sounds to not ever
finding the truth out sooner than later. The hybrid balled his
fist and looks away from the lazy feathered super soldier.
"Everything they taught us..the oaths we made and saluted
to..making us believe that our lives on the battlefied will make
a difference to the world..it was all a lie..they played us all
for a fool to hide the fact theyre a corrupted organization" he
revealed to the unfettered mobian his attention went back to
Lyric to answer his first question.
"A life were I can give hope to the people out there..a place
where I can call home and protect it from all kinds of obstacles
without the authorities breathing down my neck on a daily basis
as I believe there is still justice in this world" he said as
he begins to turn aroud to take a step forward but stops and
glances at the crow. "Whether the people accept me or not doesnt
matter..just as long as im not here in this crapsack of a
place..im out of here" he said attempting to walk away half
expecting Lyric to retailite.

He was silent for a bit.
..No surprise to any of this.
No difference from this world from Moebius...
"..Don't Tell me you never expected this?" He sighed out, "When
Mobians have the power to control... they will use it on others.
We are so easily corrupted... We have power, we need more..." He
kept his finger on the trigger.
"And in order to keep all of that power... they make guys like
us."
His tongue clicked, "We're not here to give hope to the people.
We're here to control, contain and keep them on their leashes."
The fact he was still willing to run after all of this caused
him to make a warning shot.
...Ok not a warning shot, but a clear graze at his ear.
"The quid pro quo for wanting to get stronger help others is to
be a freaky leashed attack dog." He muttered, "Sorry, Man.
Orders are Orders... "
The opposite gun took the initiative and fired a shot as well.
"And We're not exactly supposed to go against orders... you
understand... I think."

The hybrid's ears twitch hearing a gunshot go off he quickly
titled his head to the side quickly turing back to face Lyric to
avoid having his head getting taken off. However he didnt dodge
it fast enough so instead the top part of his right ear is shot
off giving him one of his tradmark permanent battle wounds that
most of you have come to recongnize. "Your wrong..." he narrowed
his eyes and charges towards Lyric and getting shot by the
second bullet that it injured his left shoulder slowing him down
to a stop for him to quickly grasp at his wound.
He attempts to shoot him with two sniper rifle rounds in
retaliation not caring if he misses or not the purpose was
simply to get him to back off. "A soldiers duty is to serve and
protect...our purpose..is supposed to be fighting for our
country...going by your logic we are taking away the people's
freedom and preventing them from having many options" he
reloaded his gun to preparing to defend hmself for another
assault.
"I will admit having alot of power can make someone driven to
control others..but we can also use our special gifts..a
chance.to benefit mankind while preserving our own freedom.."
he takes a defensive stance with his eyes focusing on his
target. "The only reason why were not supposed to disobey orders
is because they planted a chip on our skin to electrocute us
should we ever try and go rogue..some time ago I managed to get
rid of mine...so now they cant order me around anymore."
He lowers his gun some to be n a nuetral position. "We are more
than just attack dogs Linus..you have an opportunaty to walk
away from this..just let me help you remove that chip so you can
be free..we can both start a new life..so what do you say?" He
asked giving him a chance at freedom.

"..There is nothing more for me outside of this place. It's
either run away and survive... Or stay here were at least the
torture is scheduled."
Lyric tended to not take to outright fights too well, as he
hesitated, stepping back as The Hybrid came barreling towards
him.
As the first gunshot zipped towards him, he only managed to move
enough that it wouldn't hit anything vital.
He grunted, as he felt that sudden searing pain into his side,
"I...if you know it... then at least you know th..that this
won't change! Ever!" He hissed, swallowing as he dived away from
the next shot, and let out another sonic shriek towards him.
"Our gifts are not to benefit anyone but the Mobians who trained
us! Who made us how we are!"
As he noticed Ty lower his gun, he holstered his, "I don't have
anything but this... You probably have something to go back
to... Lucky fu'cking you... " He hissed, holding his side as he
walked towards him.
