Sonic’s mad dash was suddenly halted by a green blur knocking
him down. With a smile there stood Scourge his sharp fangs
filling his malicious grin. “Where you going hero? To help your
friends. News flash blue they are already dead. Soon the sun
will collide with the planet and I’ll have the pleasure of
destroying you and your ego. After all even if you zone jump and
escape what is the great Sonic without his world?" Scourge
delivered a swift kick to Sonic’s gut and continued to gloat.
“Now if I were you I’d be wondering why the hell this unicorn
hates you so much. In truth I ruined her realm. Back when I was
anti-Sonic I ended up in Equestria. I saw how much magic they
had and saw how easily a chaotic time boom could tear a whole in
the fabric of their world. A small tear here and there they
would be fine, but I went further one hundred time booms across
the Equestrian land would make the damage irreversible. Thanks
to Tikal my energy signature was changed by the master emerald.
And that means the only one left with a matching speed signature
would be you blue. See going green was the best thing that ever
happened to me. Sonic no longer Scourge is here to stay baby. So
this is it game over. Everything you love and have ever cared
about will soon be burnt to ashes.”

Sonic watched on in horror as from far away he saw his lover
murdered. “No…..NOOOOOO NOT AGAIN! I CAN’T LOOSE YOU AGAIN!”
Sonic screamed until his voice went horse. Tears streaming from
his eyes he looked up to Scourge. “YOU BASTARD YOU DID THIS!”
Sonic tenses up his fists and screamed flipping to his feet
bolting so fast he appeared in three places at once. The three
Sonic’s zoom around endlessly pummeling Scourge from every
angle. The first Sonic strikes Scourge’s smug face hundreds of
times as the other two work his back and stomach like a boxer
with a speed bag. Soon the other two Sonic’s fade away leaving
only the one holding Scourge up by his jacket collar. He threw
him to the ground not knowing what to do.

Scourge laughs as blood came dripping through the gap where he
was now missing teeth. “Face it Sonic you’ve lost. I’ve
destroyed Equestria it’s two rulers killed your girlfriend and
soon Mobius Prime will burn. Where are you going to go?
Anti-Mobius maybe? Or perhaps A-34.”

Soon a hand placed on Sonic’s Shoulder it was that of his
beloved Uncle Chuck. “Sonny….we need to talk.”

Sonic turned and grabbed onto his Uncle as if his life depended
on it. "Unc I messed up big time....I couldn't save everybody.
I....had no idea....." Sonic whimpered crying out in the open
clinging to the only family he had left. "........There's
nothing I can do..."

"You've overcome worse than this sonny. I can't let you give up
hope because you keep hope alive for others. You can do the
Sonic I believe in you." He hugged his nephew his and patted his
back before holding him at arms length. "Sonic you can undo all
of this."

Tears still streaming from his eyes he looked down and shook his
head. "How....theres no way I can push the sun. If I did I'd be
toast before I even reached it....Karahl....Tails....Sapphire
All my friends are going to die." She said falling to his knees.

"Sonic you can fix this listen carefully. When you break the
sound barrier you create a sonic boom. So if you break the time
barrier you'll create a time boom. If you can create a time boom
and enter the temporal warp you can prevent any of this from
ever happening. I believe in you boy."

Sonic stood gave his Uncle a final hug. “Thanks Unc….I…yeah..”
He said trying his best to give a small smile. It faded when
Sonic saw the sun destroy everybody and everything as it
vaporized town square. Sonic’s heart sank and he saw everything
he love destroyed consumed by fire.
