The Few that plan a Coupé

((This is your next thread in the Conqueror Celestia Arc~ Have
fun!! ))
It's been as usual regular day for the dandy Diner famous for
housing Sonic's favorite Chili Dogs.
Its owner, Mr. Barnaby Digsby was at the front counter, taking
orders, and ringing customers out.
He himself was a 4'1 dull red furred, rather Burly Kangaroo.
The old 'Roo was a former boxer, so he was easily intimidating.
In the back was a pigeon mobian, quick with turning out the
orders pretty quickly, a bell ringing every 5-8 minutes.
Manning the few customers herself was the Owner's only daughter,
a bubbly almost bouncing about in a pastel yellow diner dress.
Always a smile as she took orders and set down robust and large
portioned sized meals.
She hummed as she walked back towards the front counter with her
order pad as she muttered, "Hey... I haven't seen Sonic in a day
or two... I wonder if he's ok?"
Mr. Digsby grunted and shook his head, "...He's fine Poppy,
he'll visit when he's not saving the world."
"But that would be SO COOL RIGHT?!" She exclaimed, setting down
the pad to tear off a new order for her dad to give to the back
sous chief.
He grunted and muttered, "He's not... well professional about it
but he's good at what he does."
"I wish I could be a hero too~ traveling around and helping
people~" She sighed, "And then to help out Sonic?"
"...It'd be dangerous..."
"Weeeeeell yeah that's true... But I am sure I can protect
myself! You taught me some good moves after all! And Hey I could
even protect Sonic too!"
"Not with a maniac like Robotnik.. or that fake sonic in the
jacket." His ear twitched as he heard a bell, soon taking the
plate and setting it on a platter, "Table 15. And let's leave
the hero chat for Sunday Dinner."
"Heehee~ Sure papa~!" She chimed and winked heading off to take
the food to said table.
...Just a regular day~

The now depowered military hybrid has entered the diner armed
with his sniper rifle on his back and has two newly acquired
swords strapped to the sides of his right waist. He manages to
find and purchased the twin blades at a local weapons store and
according to rumors spread around by only a few mobians
interested by myths and fairytales that those swords never
weaver and are stated to be able to cut anything.
In his current mindset he simply needed tools to help him regain
his powers back so he could care less about the legend besides
that story sounds about as credible as a pig with wings. Ty goes
to the counter to sit on a stool to wait for the waiter or
waitress to take his order. [I never expected Sonic to pick a
diner to meet and discuss our plans about our little pony
problem..oh well what can you do..he may simply be hungry after
all] he thought to himself.

The crackling of a Glaciem teleport was swiftly audible from
outside the diner, and from the warp comes Shoke and Sapphire,
holding hands and being very lovebird-like. Shoke walked over to
the door and let her in.
"You know, it's really been a bit of a while since I was last in
here. Man, the atmosphere in here is just as lovely." Shoke
said, being his weird, tourist-like self. Shoke sighed
blissfully. He went over to the counter, gentlemanly helping
Sapphire onto her seat, then sitting next to her.

Sapphire's legs wobbled after being teleported with Shoke, she
was still getting used to the whole teleporting business,
shakily she walked into the diner as Shoke opened the door to
let her in, she nodded in thanks. "Yeah, it's been ages.. It's
nice to be back here though~ You know, Sonic's right when he
said that they make the best chilidogs here" she said, as she
made her way over to the counter with Shoke, "last time I was
here, I got to have one and they where sooo good~" she said,
smiling at Shoke as he helped her onto a seat before sitting
into one next to her, she leant across and nudged him in the
tummy gently with her elbow, "Although I appreciate it a lot,
you don't have to help me with everything, Shoke~" she said
softly, "now what are you having? I already know what I'm
gettin~". Sapphire leant backwards on her stool slightly and saw
someone familiar sitting a few seats away from her and Shoke,
she couldn't quite put a finger on who it was exactly, so she
chose not to say anything and just turned her attention back to
Shoke.

Sonic busted in with his cohorts helping Karahl walk holding her
hand over his Shoulder. He sets her down across a padded seat in
the booth at the back. All the customers were chatting and
staring as the famous Sonic and his posse had entered. Used to
this kind of public reactions he props Karahl's head up placing
a roll of paper towels under her neck to keep it elevated. At
this point Sonic was walking around the diner as if he lived in
the place. He took a seat next to TY and knocked on the table to
get Flavie's attention. "Hey Flav hows your day been? I hope you
don't mind up I brought some friends along. Were going to be
making a bit of a scene." No doubt Mr.Digsby would catch on that
Sonic was going to interrupt the sales of his business so he
quickly spoke up loud enough to hear. "My friends who are also
hungry paying customers." Hoping that would satisfy the diners
owner he went back to focusing on Flavie. "Forget the hero dogs
today and put everybody's orders on my tab. I know I'm a little
behind but sales of the comic should be up soon I'll pay you
then." Sonic couldn't take free food knowing that he was about
to turn Digsbys diner into a make shift Freedom Fighter HQ.
"Just give me a regular one and add it to the tab please." Sonic
placed his hands over his head looking down to the counter
trying to think on his next move. What was he going to do how do
you fight somebody with magic like Celestia. He tightens his
grip on his head the pressure was getting to him his friends
were depowered wounded and a school bus full of children had
died. "All this is on my head and I didn't even know I was doing
it." Sonic was so deep in trying to plan out their next move he
hadn't said hello to Sapphire and Shoke even though he knew they
were there.

Sapphire spun around on her stool hearing the door open, to see
who had came in, she smiled seeing Sonic but her smile quickly
faded seeing that he was helping an injured Kara stay up, she
watched him take her to a booth and sit her down, putting a roll
of paper towels under her neck. Then she watched silently as he
went over to Ty at the counter and sat down next to him, she
looked worried as he placed his hands over his head. She kicked
her feet as she slid off of her stool, then she ran over to Ty
and Sonic, and scrambled to get up on the other stool next to
Sonic. Once finally on it she reached across and gently tapped
Sonic on the shoulder, she wanted to know what was wrong, so she
could help, she wanted to help. "Sonic? What's happened? Are you
ok?" She asked softly.

He shook his head dropping his hands then leaning his head
against the counter. "No Sapphire I'm not okay and neither is
everybody else. Some serious s,hit is going down and I don't
know what to do. Short story is theres this lady who wants to
take me away to another world forever to fix something I broke.
I won't go and now she's taking it out on my friends. She
already got Karahl.....and TY here. Sapphire please don't argue
just take Shoke and go. Leave the city run as far and as fast as
you can until this blows over or you'll be next. This woman she
can take peoples power away."

Ty hears the door swing open and he turns around to see who had
entered..it was his friends and teamates with Sonic holding
Karahl who then rests her on the padded seats at the back. It
would appear that she is still injured from her getting stabbed
in the stomach by the goddess and as a result the hybrid has a
worried look on his face and she may need to go to the
hostpital..for the umpteeth time. His attention is geared
towards Sonic who goes to sit next to him and is reading himself
for a big important announcement which sparks up his curiosity.
"Its alright Sonic..you dont have to pay for anyone..and if you
are short on cash..ill pay for you and everyone elses food for
you" he said offering to chip in. Ty sees Sonic looked troubled
over the recent events that unfolded upon them as well as
Sapphire approaching them wanting to know what happened. He goes
to gently touch his shoulder to reassure the famous hero and his
daughter.
"Hey.cheer up its not your fault Sonic...you didnt know.this
would happen..and believe me..the most important thing about all
of this is that everyone of our friends is safe and sound..and
we wont give up so easily..we will make it through this
together" he said with a smile.

Seeing Sonic like this, was terrible. She didn't talk, she
didn't interrupt, she just listened to him talk, and give her,
in a nutshell what was happening. Sapphire rested her chin on
the counter, similar to what Sonic was doing. A lady who was
picking on Sonic's friends, by taking away their powers... This
made her want to help more, Sonic didn't know what he should do
and a handful of his friends had already lost their powers to
this lady, she opened her mouth to talk, but he said, 'Sapphire
please don't argue' she closed her mouth again. She couldn't
believe it, he was telling her to take Shoke and go? To leave
and run away, could it really be this bad? Well, of course it
was, Sonic didn't know what to do and people had lost their
powers... But Sapphire wasn't about to run away, Sonic couldn't
do this on his own, could he? No, he needed help, he didn't even
know what he should do now. But she would be arguing against him
if she stayed and did the opposite to what he had asked her to
do. Being her dad, it made it a whole lot harder to disobey him,
but she felt like it was the right thing to do, she slid off her
stool and stood firmly right beside Sonic, crossing her arms, as
she shook her head, "No, Sonic, I'm staying with you, you'll
need all the help you can get" she said, she smiled slightly
hearing Ty trying to reasure Sonic, "See Sonic? We're all in
this together, Freedom Fighters work together as a team,
remember? We're not working together if you do this by yourself"

Sonic looked up and shook his head. "Nah I'll flip the bill
least I could do. Thanks TY your right together we can think of
something.I know your right theres no way I could have seen this
coming.But it's just...we've lost so much already not to mention
all the people Celestia is trying to help will die if we kick
her out of here. I hate to say it but I don't see anyway out of
this that doesn't either result in genocide of her kind or us
loosing our way of life." As Sapphire stood up to him he picked
her up and placed her in his lap. "Listen Sapphire this isn't up
for debate. You can't come. It's not because don't think your up
to it and not because I'm just worryed about you. I'm looking at
the bigger picture here. I want you out of harms way because
this lady can do something we've never seen before. And if
something happens to me...people will turn to you. I'm not sure
if you've ever wanted to be a hero but if something dose happen
you'll need to take my place. The world needs a Sonic to keep it
safe. Now there are others who can help but it's been proven
time and time again this place would fall to crap without me. So
I'm asking you not as a friend or a father but as somebody who
wants to secure the future of the planet.Please promise me you
won't get involved."
