New To Town

A young and content hyena-Mobian entered the city, smiling
softly as he looked around. Aeson was certainly not familiar
with this area, but if his new friends meant what they said,
boredom was hard to come by here. He was wearing the finest of
white and gold silks, draping at the sleeves and by his sides.
As he made his way into the city, he stopped by a cafe,
purchased a hot drink and sat down in the sitting area outside,
enjoying the sun. Maybe he might meet some locals, make some
friends even.
Either way, he was certain that this was going to be a great
day.

The petite elder vixen made her way towards her weekly visit to
the museum, each step slow moving yet graceful aside from the
mahogany straight cane she always uses.
Directly behind her was a scared up and stoic Shar Pei Mobian,
politely speaking about the exhibit from the last week, all the
while holding an old fashioned oil parasol over her head to
shielf her from the sun..
The younger brother of the Shar Pei was behind him, and the
rather burly Hippo Mobian was across the way following.
All three bodyguards seemed to work together to protect their
Mistress.
That is what their Boss ordered them to do after all!
She blinked as she noticed the oddly dressed Mobian sitting, as
she tilted her head a bit curious on his manner of dress as she
stopped near him, "Good Afternoon~" She greeted, with a bow, her
weight against the cane, "I am sorry... for being rather odd for
staring... but where are you from? Your clothing is lovely~"

Aeson's ears perked up when he noticed such a lovely lady with
three, rather intimidating guards approach him. Being
respectful, he stood up as she addressed him; casting her a
pleasant smile. He offered an open hand to take hers as a part
of courtesy, though stopped midway and cast her guards wary
looks.
Nonetheless, he nodded once, "And good afternoon to you too! My,
my, forgive me for being so bold as to admit, but this gorgeous
afternoon has only just gotten brighter when in the presence of
a fair lady." he said softly, words rolling off of his tongue
like liquid before chuckling, "Myself? Alas, is it really that
obvious? Perhaps I should be better acquainted with this city's
aesthetic tastes in fashion before settling down here. In recent
times I have decided to become a traveler of sorts and decided
to explore what the other side of Mobius is like this time of
year." he hummed.
The well groomed hyena then gestured towards the empty table he
was once sitting at, "Would the four of your care to join me?"

She gave a bright smile as her long sleeve fell to her mouth as
she gave a light giggle, "How sweet of you to say~" She shook
her head, "I see nothing wrong with your clothing~ In fact I
perhaps adore it quite a bit~"
The parasol raised a bit, as she noticed the scarred jowl of the
Shar Pei above her.
"Milady..."
"It's ok~ We can always have another cup of tea, Rong-san" she
smiled to him.
She looked towards the stranger, and blinked. She was old... but
she could not certainly be seeing things.
...Those two Mobians weren't behind the kind Hyena a second a
go... were they?
She blinked, as her focus returned to him, as replied, "We would
love to join you~" She bowed again, "It was rude of me no to
introduce myself before... But my name is Junko Soyagouka. It is
nice to meet you." As she raised she looked to the imposing
canine behind her, then to a slightly smaller one finally
catching up. "These are Rong, and Gang."
The final one... though obvious from the crowd due to his sheer
size walked forward as well, "And this is Brutus. Ah, Brutus-san
would you like tea?"
"Mmmmn. It'd be nice to rest... I'm not as fast as these two
ehe." He chuckled a little.
"Good~!" She smiled again, looking back towards the Hyena,
"Where are you from originally? If it is alright to ask?"

"Why thank you Madam, if it is deemed acceptable then I shall
hold onto it then!" he replied fondly before smoothing out some
of the creases on his sleeve. When the four of them joined them,
a waiter approached them to take their orders before
disappearing into the cafe again, "The pleasure is all mine, Ms
Soyagouka, my name is Aeson. It is also a pleasure in meeting
you too, Rong, Gang and Brutus~"
He smiled again, pausing briefly before answering her question,
"I am from the far-east coast of Mobius. I am but from a humble
home with a wonderful view of the ocean. It's something I have
always felt blessed to simply hear those waves crash onto the
shores every morning. So, coming to a city like this is quite
the change but I believe that it is something I can get used to
without a problem." He then tilted his head slightly, though
kept a pleasant look about him, "Your surname intrigues me,
especially since you appear to be accompanied by very able
gentle-men. Forgive me, but would you happen to be someone
famous? I'm just aweful at keeping up with the time's latest on
who is known for what."

Junko sat down, keeping her cane to the side of her chair as she
listened to the Hyena speak, "Near the Coast? That is fortunate.
I would assume it would be calming? I will admit I've never seen
the ocean before~"
She set her hands to her lap as she was asked a question, as she
gave a weak smile and admitted, "No... well not famous per say.
My husband is a well known business man however..."
She thought rather quickly for a response, "Mmmmn. But his work
can be harrowing I suppose. So I have bodyguards to protect me
and to help me along... as he assumes I cannot do much if I walk
so slowly with a cane."
She couldn't help but give a content hum, "But they never feel
like bodyguards to me~ I enjoy their company as good friends
more than anything."

Suddenly a blue wind rushed past the group and stopped infront
of the female elder. As soon as the motion blur was gone it was
revealed to be a blue hedgehog holding a box. He seemed to have
a small smile as he zoomed about again this time a table set up
with piping hot tea present as if the stranger had zipped it
away from another cafe customer. He then threw his arms around
the vixen hugging her tightly. He held onto just long enough for
the embrace to become slightly awkward and weird. And with that
he was gone blasted off at the speed of light to who knows
where.

"Calming, oh yes indeed." the hyena nodded, before his smile
stretched to a crooked grin as he leaned slightly forward over
the table, "If you like, I can show you some time. Nothing is
better than life experiences, I always say." he added with a
hum.
Aeson then took a few more sips from the mug, listening to her
explain. His eyes flashed over to the left of him briefly,
before returning his gaze to the vixen, "Sounds like a lot to
take on in life, I can only hope that the rewards are worth the
trouble. It is wonderful that you see them as friends, otherwise
I'd imagine it might feel a bit awkward." he chuckled softly,
then an ear turned towards the left briefly, "Curious to ask,
what type of business is it?"
When Sonic made his rather abrupt appearance, the hyena let out
a soft gasp of surprise. Absolutely bewildered to have seen
someone move so quickly; he had to blink a few times only to
find him suddenly hugging her.
"Er-" he began, but Sonic was gone faster than a heart beat.
Blasting off at the speed of light had let off a significantly
loud bang from already breaking the sound barrier... to which
for a brief moment, very faint silhouettes of two other figures
were standing to his left were partially revealed.

She blinked, as she was hugged so tightly. "Ah??"
The trio of thugs couldn't react fact enough to being close
enough to kill her...
But they couldn't react fast enough as he left.
The elder Vixen couldn't help but give a friendly giggle. "I've
never gotten such a long sudden hug in years!"
"But are you alright milady?!" Rong asked, visibly rattled.
Junko waved her hand away gently, "Perfectly fine, Rong-san~ It
almost reminded me when the children were.. well children! I got
hugs all the time~" She cooed gently, as she glanced over to
Aeson, then blinked again.
SURELY her eyes weren't playing tricks on her again!
She was positive now she had seen two next to this rather exotic
Hyena!!
She gave another smile, merely playing it off as she nodded, "I
wouldn't dare have a trio that were anything less than what I
have now. I am grateful for it."
She did tilt her head again, as she picked up her small teacup
and took a sip of the bitter tea.
"My husband works in security and trading." She answered, still
a tranquil expression as she added, "I look forward to such a
thing, Aeson-san~"

For the first time Aeson's brows furrowed slightly in thought as
he stared off to where the hedgehog had suddenly disappeared to,
"Perplexing to see one of such capabilities... extraordinary...
hmmm." he muttered to himself with a thoughtful finger to his
chin.
He then however, returned his attention to his guests with a
pleasant smile, "Excellent, perhaps the opportunity may present
itself later on down the track; after I have settled in. Of
course, Rong, Gang and Brutus are welcome to come along as
well~" he said with a hint of excitement behind his calm
demeanor, "So, being new to the city, are there any places you
can recommend for me to visit?"
